----------

Facing the blackmail from the Celestial Dragons, Akira honestly felt no emotion.

The first object to be blackmailed was Berries, someone he valued the least.

Secondly, without any expectations, there wouldn't be any disappointment.

If the Celestial Dragons had been genuinely concerned with justice, that would've stirred something in his heart.

But as it stands, they're all useless.

When it's time to deal with these people in the future, he could do it swiftly and without hesitation.

At this moment, all of his attention was on the Minister of Planning, who was trying to frame Rayleigh.

Pere~Pere~Pere~Pere~.

"Moshi moshi, Rosinante, come here."

The clone gave an order to the Den Den Mushi and hung up after receiving confirmation from the other side.

Akira raised an eyebrow: "When did Rosinante return to headquarters?"

He had been staying in Impel Down, focused on strengthening himself, and had missed some developments back at Marine HQ.

Luckily, the clone had already prepared for this.

He pulled a thick diary from the drawer, placed it on the table, and slid it over.

"His mission in the Four Seas was a success, so I had him transferred back."

"This diary contains a lot of the orders and intel I've issued during this time. Please take some time to go through it so you're up to date.

"Also, just a reminder!"

"Vergo has been performing impressively in North Blue. You promised to bring him along, so it's time to make good on that."

Akira nodded in acknowledgment, picked up the diary, and started skimming through it.

After flipping through a few pages, his eyes suddenly brightened.

"Sakazuki and the rest have completed their missions?"

"Yes, after lengthy pursuits and battles, they finally brought the targets in."

The clone turned around, pulled a few newspapers from the pile of documents, and handed them over.

Akira took them and glanced through the headlines.

[Breaking News! Marine Vice Admiral Sakazuki fought the monstrous 'Devil's Heir' Douglas Bullet for ten days and nights, ultimately defeating him.]

[Congratulations! Marine Vice Admiral Kuzan easily took down the 'World Destroyer' Byrnndi World, eliminating a major threat.]

[Congrats! Marine Vice Admiral Borsalino successfully captured Hal Acheson, the 'Hungry Devil,' and is now transporting him to Impel Down!]

[...]

The newspapers initially emphasized the threat and terror posed by Douglas Bullet, Byrnndi World, and Hal Acheson, only to then shift the narrative, using their names to showcase the power of the three Marine powerhouses to the world.

"After the Ministry of Information's campaign, the officers have garnered public support," the clone remarked, resting its chin on its hands. "The spies have reported on the people's reactions, and they are mostly in awe of the three's strength."

"Their strength and reputation are more than enough to take on the position of Admiral," the clone added.

Akira took back the newspaper, a growing smile playing at the corner of his lips.

"Seems like today's full of good news."

First, the Truth-Truth Fruit—rare and only obtainable by chance—had been delivered to him in person. Then, the missions of the three Marine monsters were successfully completed.

Akira had specifically ordered that these infamous pirates be captured alive, which meant there could potentially be three more valuable Devil Fruit powers added to his collection.

"Report!"

Just then, Rosinante's voice echoed from outside the door.

"Come in!" Akira responded.

Rosinante entered briskly, momentarily surprised at the sight of Akira but quickly regaining composure as he saluted.

Akira waved him off, skipping formalities and getting straight to the point:

"I called you because I have a task for your news department."

"Recently, the headquarters made a grand effort to search for the Truth-Truth Fruit. You should be aware of this!"

"Now, that Devil Fruit is here."

Akira held up the Fruit in his hand. "Your job is to spread knowledge about this fruit's abilities across the world. I want everyone, from an eighty-year-old grandpa to a three-year-old kid, to understand what it does. Can you manage that?"

"Absolutely, I'll complete the task!" Rosinante responded firmly, without any hesitation.

Satisfied, Akira continued, "The second task is this: Marine is going to use the Truth-Truth Fruit."

"We'll broadcast it live to the entire world and have Gol D. Roger's most trusted companion, Silvers Rayleigh, reveal the exact location of One Piece himself."

To truly captivate the world, you have to tap into their deepest desires.

Although the pirates venturing out to sea now trembled in fear of being hunted down, many still dreamed of finding One Piece.

Now, with Marine announcing a worldwide live broadcast to reveal the location of One Piece, it was obvious that the ratings would soar through the roof. Not to mention, the one delivering the information was none other than Dark King Rayleigh, a trusted companion of the Pirate King himself, making the broadcast seem all the more credible.

Rosinante's pupils shrank in shock. He was stunned by the news.

He had already heard about Rayleigh's capture from the gossip at Marine Headquarters after his return. He had assumed Rayleigh was thrown into Impel Down just as a deterrent against the pirate era. But to his surprise, Fleet Admiral Akira planned to broadcast Rayleigh's trial live to the entire world.

And the lengths he went to—scouring the globe for the Truth-Truth Fruit—all to ensure the truth would be undeniable, made sense.

But the big question lingered: did Rayleigh even know where One Piece was? Or what it truly was?

If the actual location of One Piece were revealed, wouldn't that just reignite the flames of the Great Pirate Era, which had begun to cool down?

"Actually…"

Rosinante hesitated, wanting to voice his concerns but ultimately swallowed his words. He knew that once Fleet Admiral Akira set a plan in motion, there was no going back. With his strategic mind, Akira had surely already accounted for all possibilities.

As a subordinate, all Rosinante needed to do was carry out his orders.

"Understood! I will ensure the mission is completed!"

After saluting and receiving no further instructions from Akira, Rosinante quickly left to get to work. The entire News Department sprang into action, fully aware of the weight of this task. Rosinante even contacted the head of the news branches worldwide, ensuring all hands were on deck for the compilation.

With the combined efforts of everyone, the mission was completed before midnight.

That very night, News coo flew across the globe, carrying stacks of papers with them.

---

Aboard the Moby Dick, in the New World...

"Dad, Marine sent out another free newspaper," Marco muttered as he walked over with a thick stack of papers. "They've got way too much money to burn. Seems like they're always running these loss-making businesses."

Whitebeard, who had been dozing off, initially didn't bother to react. But the mention of a free newspaper from the Marines snapped him awake.

"Stupid son," Whitebeard grumbled, opening his eyes. "Haven't you noticed? Every time Marine hands out free newspapers, it means there's a big event or some grand plan in the works."

Marco paused, realizing his father was right. Each time the Marines did something like this, it meant something major was about to happen in the world.

"So, what's going on this time, Dad?" Marco asked, but his father had gone quiet.

He stared blankly at the newspaper, seemingly frozen.

"Dad? What's wrong?"

It took Marco a few minutes to snap Whitebeard back to reality.

"Roger… Marine…"

Whitebeard's gaze lifted to the moon overhead, his expression unreadable and heavy with emotion.

Marco's curiosity only grew stronger as he grabbed the newspaper to read it himself.

"Oh, Marine found the Truth-Truth Fruit! But why would they need such a seemingly useless ability?"

Then he saw the next line.

"Huh? Dark King Rayleigh was captured? When did this happen, and why didn't Marine announce it sooner?"

But what really left him breathless was the next headline.

"Holy… they're going to broadcast the exact location of One Piece to the entire world using the Truth-Truth Fruit?!"

Marco's shocked exclamation echoed across the ship, alarming everyone aboard the Moby Dick.

"The location of One Piece? Is that for real? Would Marine really do something like that?"

"If it's Silvers Rayleigh, the right hand of the Pirate King, saying it himself, then it has to be true."

"Captain Marco, does the paper say when this broadcast is happening? I want to see it."

Even though they were Whitebeard's crew, the allure of One Piece was undeniable. They were all pirates, after all. Deep down, even without admitting it, their curiosity about the legendary treasure was eating at them.

As the crew crowded around, bombarding Marco with questions, Whitebeard watched the commotion with drooping eyelids, his expression unreadable.

Across the world, the same shock rippled through everyone—whether they were pirates, criminals, or ordinary civilians.

"The exact location of One Piece? What is Marine up to?"

"No wonder they were hunting for the Truth-Truth Fruit. They had a plan all along."

"My god, if Rayleigh, the Pirate King's most trusted companion, is the one revealing it, he must know where One Piece is."

"Ever since this new Fleet Admiral took charge, there have been so many unexpected moves…"

"Judging Roger's companion, this is seriously intense…"

People everywhere were wide awake, clutching their newspapers and eagerly spreading the news to anyone nearby. Some who had been preparing to set sail in search of One Piece hesitated, frozen by this sudden revelation.

---

In a remote village far from the bustling cities of the Grand Line, a muscular man with sunglasses and a ponytail stared at the newspaper in his trembling hands.

As he finished reading, his hands shook violently, and with a single motion, he tore the newspaper to shreds, scattering it to the ground.

"Good brother, I'll gather our old comrades. I swear I'll save you."

"The tragedy that happened to our captain… I won't let it happen to you."

He headed to a nearby woodshed, pulling out a discarded double ax from a dark corner.

After a moment of silent reflection on the weapon that had been by his side for years, the man resolutely picked it up and headed outside.

"Gaban, where are you going? Tomorrow is our wedding!"

A woman in a pleated dress ran out from the house behind him, her voice filled with panic as she saw her fiancé leaving.

But Gaban didn't stop. His steps were steady and determined, and soon, he disappeared into the night.
