Omnitrix Tyrant: The Strategist of Universe 7

Chapter 27: Chapter 27: First Sparks of Rebellion

Chapter 27: First Sparks of Rebellion

The underground arena remained eerily silent after Ben's speech. Saiyans weren't exactly known for their willingness to listen to reason—power spoke louder than words.

Some fighters still looked skeptical. Others exchanged glances, weighing their options. Nobody openly rejected his words, but nobody stepped forward either.

Ben wasn't surprised. Convincing Saiyans to go against their instincts and think long-term was never going to be easy.

Caulifla, however, wasn't nearly as patient.

"Tch. Bunch of cowards," she scoffed, crossing her arms. "You'd rather sit here fighting for pocket change than actually do something that matters?"

The insult was enough to get a reaction. A few Saiyans scowled, some clenched their fists, but none of them moved.

Ben let the tension settle for a moment before stepping forward again. "I don't expect all of you to believe me. But for those who are even thinking about it…" He pointed to the exit. "Meet us outside. If you're not interested, then go back to your drinks and fights. I don't have time to waste on people who don't want to survive."

With that, he turned and walked away.

Caulifla and Kale followed, though the former kept throwing irritated glances back. "Seriously, if they don't get it now, they never will."

Ben smirked. "They'll get it. Just wait."

The First Followers

The night air was cool as the trio stood outside the underground ring, waiting.

Caulifla tapped her foot impatiently. Kale, as usual, stayed quiet, fidgeting slightly.

Ben, on the other hand, remained calm. He knew at least a few would come.

And sure enough, after several long minutes, the first figure emerged from the shadows.

It was the scarred Saiyan he had beaten earlier. His expression was unreadable, but his arms were crossed as he studied Ben.

"...You're either crazy, or you know something we don't."

Ben smirked. "Why not both?"

The Saiyan let out a rough chuckle. "Name's Toren. I don't trust you, but I know Frieza's been treating us like garbage for years. If you're saying he's gonna wipe us out… I wanna hear more."

Before Ben could respond, more figures appeared. Three, then five, then nearly a dozen.

Saiyans of varying ages and builds—not the elites, but the outcasts. The ones with nowhere else to go.

Caulifla grinned. "Well, well. Guess some of you aren't complete idiots."

Ben took a deep breath. This was the first step.

They had a long road ahead, but tonight… the first sparks of rebellion had ignited.
