"Do you really think that this will work?" Adrian asked as all of them are now in the eastern continent.

"It will work as the identities we used are something that is already established by the Ryujin to use. I am Lady Firefeather and you will address me as such." Peridot stated as she hugged Levin Cloud to act as if she is a frail noble lady that needs to be supported by her lover.

"Let us just get this over with." Adrian muttered as he followed through the merchant guild in Kunlun as this is the place they are currently in.

"Please identify yourselves." The guard leading to the merchant guild stated.

Adrian acted like a real guard of a noble family in the easter continent and presented a token that was given to him by Peridot. It was a token that contains a small essence of flame from the Vermillion Bird. Tokens that contain the essence of a divine beast are meant to verify the identity of the holder.

The token cannot be used by others that are not acknowledged by the divine beast. Any person that dares to steal and use the token for themselves when they were not given acknowledgment will incur the wrath of the divine beasts. If you incur the wrath of the Azure Dragon from using the token that is not yours then you will be struck by lightning even in the middle of the day. Another example is a person suddenly combusting when using a stolen token from the Vermillion Bird.

"I am with Lord and Lady Firefeather." Adrian stated with a stoic tone.

"Apologies for not recognizing the Lord and Lady Firefeather. Please tell us what the masters' needs, and we will assist you as VIPs in the merchant guild." The guard suddenly stated in a rather worried tone as he did not recognize the nobles before him.

Even Adrian was slightly shocked of the identities that Peridot and Levin Cloud are using in the eastern continent. The Ryujin has covert families in each of the regions of the eastern continent that only the divine beasts know. Even the divine beast cannot speak of these families to other people as a vow to the Ryujin. The ones they are using is the Firefeather clan which is a prestigious and old noble clan from Vermillion City.

The Firefeather clan is basically a clan that is prominent but not boastful and would rather be neutral when it comes to stances regarding interclan exchanges. They are also art collectors from of pure prestige and beauty that can stir the desires of the masses. Even if they rarely show up to events, the Firefeather clan is said to be able to sway the interests of the nobles. This is the cover set up by the Ryujin in the southern part of the eastern continent and they have different covers depending on the region.

"Please tell the Branch Guild Master that we need to speak with him." Peridot stated in a rather soft tone as her setting is a rather physically weak noble lady but still full of prestige.

"Apologies, Lady Firefeather but the Branch Guild Master is not present at the moment. I can call upon the Assistant Branck Guild Master if you wish. Please head to the room prepared inside as I inform them. Please take the VIPs to room number 3." The guard stated as he asked another guard to escort the group to the VIP room.

The guard did a polite bow before scurrying away to call upon the assistant branch guild master. Another guard was then called to escort them to the VIP room that was designated to them. Peridot was actually stunned that the person that they wanted to meet was not present at the moment which is why Levin Cloud had to wake her up from her stupor.

"Weird. Why does this place feel familiar?" Adrian suddenly thought as he entered the merchant guild when in fact he has never entered here before.

The merchant guild branch in the eastern continent is very heavily decorated with gold, red, and silver. They even built this building according to the rules of feng shui as this is the most auspicious location. This location is said to be able to bring immense bounty and this is true as the merchant guild in the eastern continent is the most successful branch compared to other continents.

"Please enter the room as the assistant branch guild master will arrive shortly after his current work. Does the esteemed guests need some refreshments?" The guard asked as he also know of etiquette since they sometimes serve as liaisons.

"We are good for now as we just need to rest. We shall call upon you if we need refreshments. Thank you for your service." Levin Cloud stated as he handed a gold coin to the guard to which the latter bowed deeply before vanishing.

Adrian immediately created an isolated zone using spatial magic which will prevent any noise to escape. He also had Sirius look in all parts of the room to check if there are any hidden observation tool, but the room is clean. It seems that the merchant guild here needs such measures to ensure that they can do shady dealings without the customer feeling anxious.

"What do we do now? The plan suddenly took a downward spiral now that the branch guild master is now here?!" Peridot suddenly exclaimed as she did not expect this as she learned that the branch guild master of the eastern continent is always at this place.

"Relax as the plan just needs some adjustments. Just make sure that we have an audience with the branch guild master. You did say that he is called Branch Guild Master Goldenclaw, right?" Adrian stated.

"Yes. The Goldenclaw clan has basically ran the merchant guild here. The guild master might not be a direct descendant as he married into the family, but he is a Goldenclaw since he took on that last name." Peridot replied.
