Oh my god! The goddess secretly gave birth to three obedient daughters for me

Chapter 313 Homeless

The children looked at their father, half understanding, thinking it wasn't that big of a deal.

It was a while before the society ladies finally left; they actually wanted to keep Han Xuewei around to ask her some more questions.

But since it was mealtime, they were too embarrassed to keep bothering her.

Once the society ladies had left, Han Xuewei returned to her seat, feeling somewhat exhausted.

Why was talking to these society ladies so tiring? She had never felt that way before.

"It's all your fault. If you hadn't dumped the problem on me, how could they have kept me tied up like that? It's all on you, all on you. If you ever dump something like this on me again, I won't let you off the hook!"

Han Xuewei looked at Lin Yi angrily; if he hadn't pushed the problem onto her, she wouldn't have been cornered by them.

It was clear that Han Xuewei was truly angry. Lin Yi quickly pulled her into his arms and whispered comforting words to her.

The children felt a jolt in their little hearts upon seeing this.

Mom and Dad were showing off their affection right in front of them. Was that really okay? Weren't they taking the kids too lightly?

One by one, they covered their eyes and continued eating.

"Enough already, the kids are still here. What are you trying to look like? Let me go now!"

Even though Han Xuewei enjoyed Lin Yi's embrace, she was embarrassed to do such intimate things in front of the children.

"The kids have all covered their eyes nicely, so it's fine."

Lin Yi teased Han Xuewei on purpose, even though he knew it was not good to do this in front of the children.

But he found Han Xuewei's reaction amusing.

"If you keep teasing me, you won't be allowed to sleep in the bedroom tonight. You'll sleep on the sofa, do you hear me?"

After Han Xuewei wrestled free, she looked at Lin Yi sternly. She was not joking; she meant it.

Since his wife didn't want to play anymore, Lin Yi stopped provoking her.

After dinner, the family headed to the amusement park.

They wondered if the amusement park would be crowded today since it was a day off.

Meanwhile, Wang Sheng and Han Xuemei's meeting was incredibly awkward.

Han Xuemei had wanted to rush up and hug Wang Sheng, but he dodged her.

What was going on?

How had Wang Sheng become so distant in less than a day, when last night they were still the closest to each other?

"Take a seat first, let's hear what he has to say. Then we'll decide whether to hug or not."

Han Xuemei was thrown off by this. What on earth could be so serious?

Could it be that the Wang Family had gone bankrupt?

Impossible. She had been checking the news all day and hadn't seen any such headlines.

"What exactly happened? It seems really serious. You look like this, and it's breaking my heart. If there's anything I can do, I'll definitely help you."

Han Xuemei showed a look of great sympathy for Wang Sheng, and Wang Sheng was persuaded by Han Xuemei.

Maybe he really could be accepted by Han Xuemei, even if he had nothing at all.

Looking at Han Xuemei's expression, she didn't seem to be deceiving him.

"I've been kicked out by my family, and now I'm homeless. Would you be willing to live with me for a while? I have no money to offer you, but rest assured, once I get back home, I'll definitely repay you double," he said.

Wang Sheng looked at Han Xuemei with some anticipation, hoping she would accept him.

If Han Xuemei stayed by his side during these tough times, he would definitely marry her and not discard her afterwards like he did with the girls before.

But Han Xuemei hesitated, uncertain whether what Wang Sheng was saying was true or false.

What if Wang Sheng never made it back home for the rest of his life? Was she supposed to support a playboy?

"Are you joking with me? This joke isn't funny at all. How could you possibly be kicked out by your family? You haven't done anything wrong, and there's no news about it. You must be testing me, rest assured, even if you were kicked out, I would never abandon you," she said.

Han Xuemei still thought Wang Sheng was testing her.

He was probably probing whether her feelings for him were genuine, so Han Xuemei had to pretend to be very sincere.

When Wang Sheng heard what Han Xuemei said, he shook his head. He wasn't joking. Why couldn't Han Xuemei understand?

"I'm not joking with you. This is true. I really have been kicked out by my family. You see, all I have on me is my phone, nothing else. My bank cards have already been stopped by my father," he said with a bitter smile.

Wang Sheng smiled bitterly; indeed, no one was willing to accept him. All the girls from his past had already run away.

It seemed that Han Xuemei was the only one he could turn to now.

After all, even his own brothers had hung around with him just because of his status.

Now that he had been disowned, they were probably laughing behind his back.

"If this really happened, then I can only express regret. But there is no way I can support two people with the money I have," she said.

So it wasn't a joke, and Han Xuemei's tone changed immediately.

She wouldn't waste her time on someone who was useless, just considering the previous night as feeding a dog.

After saying this, Han Xuemei stood up, intending to leave, but Wang Sheng suddenly grabbed her.

"It's okay. I just want to stay by your side. I really don't have anyone else I can rely on now. Even though we just met last night, I believe you won't abandon me, right?" he said.

"Right now, you are a burden to me, do you understand? How could I possibly let you stay with me? I simply don't have enough money to take care of two people, have you got that?" she said.

Han Xuemei felt that her words were already very clear.

She wasn't going to waste so much time and money on someone who was useless; she pushed Wang Sheng's hand away.

"Come find me after you've managed to return home. But that's probably not going to happen. I think you must have done something to make your father very angry, that's why he kicked you out," she said with a cold laugh before leaving.

Before she left, she didn't make things difficult for Wang Sheng; instead, she settled the bill and then departed.

When Wang Sheng emerged from the restaurant, he was at a loss.

He didn't know where to go, but he didn't want to compromise with his father. Find your next read at empire

In the end, Wang Sheng wandered aimlessly, lost in a daze.
