The children looked at their father, half understanding, thinking it wasn't that big of a deal.
It was a while before the society ladies finally left; they actually wanted to keep Han Xuewei around to ask her some more questions.
But since it was mealtime, they were too embarrassed to keep bothering her.
Once the society ladies had left, Han Xuewei returned to her seat, feeling somewhat exhausted.

"If you keep teasing me, you won't be allowed to sleep in the bedroom tonight. You'll sleep on the sofa, do you hear me?"
After Han Xuewei wrestled free, she looked at Lin Yi sternly. She was not joking; she meant it.

After dinner, the family headed to the amusement park.
