Neurolink System in the Modern World

Chapter 540: New World Order Part 1

BLINK!

I teleported to North Korea after completing my tasks in the United States.

As the self-proclaimed God of this world, my influence was nearly absolute.

Tony and the rest had started following all my instructions.

They might seem weak and pitiful compared to me, but their overall strength was enough to make the world leaders surrender.

However, not everyone welcomed my rule. For those countries, I plan to make an example out of them.

'I have a lot of memories of this place '

I thought, remembering a time when I had massacred people here for experience points.

I was immature back then—well, not that I've changed much. They say boys don't get old; we just get bigger toys. The only problem was, I got the biggest one, and I'm not exactly the responsible type

Memories of past atrocities flooded my mind as I surveyed the city.

'Now that I'm here, I should erase this place completely. Is the camera already recording?'

I wondered, checking the device I had brought for broadcasting, so everyone could in the world could enjoy the show.

Floating into the sky, I raised my staff. A white magic circle enveloped me, humming with immense power.

I knew the world was watching as I prepared to demonstrate the consequences of defying me.

"Grand Tier Magic... Maximized Chain Lightning!"

I roared for added flair.

My voice echoed through the city, and everyone went outside to check.

But before they could even process what was happening, my spell triggered, and hundreds of thousands of lightning bolts bore down into the city.

The lightning storm I unleashed was a terrifying sight.

Each bolt of lightning struck the city with a deafening crack, lighting up the sky and destroying everything it hit.

Buildings crumbled into pieces, and the streets were filled with bright flashes and loud booms.

People screamed in fear, but their cries were drowned out by the roaring thunder.

Electrical currents surged through power lines, causing explosions and setting things on fire.

Cars burst into flames, and their metal parts melted into twisted shapes.

Power lines snapped and whipped around dangerously, adding to the chaos.

People ran in all directions, their faces showing pure terror.

Some were struck directly by the lightning, their bodies shaking before falling lifeless to the ground.

Others were trapped in burning buildings or crushed by falling debris, their cries for help lost in the chaos.

The smell of burning mixed with the scent of electricity, creating a horrible stench that filled the air.

The once-busy city was now a scene of total destruction, lit only by the flickering flames of the fires.

As the magic circle continued to expand, the destruction spread, wiping out everything in its path.

Parks, schools, and hospitals—nothing was safe. The powerful spell showed no mercy, turning the entire area into ash and ruins.

In the end, the city was unrecognizable.

What had once been a lively place was now a smoking wasteland, a grim reminder of what happens when someone dares to challenge a god.

But I was not done yet.

"Grand Tier Magic... Maximized Inferno!"

This time, a red magic circle formed on my staff.

It was smaller, only the size of a plate, but when I pointed it at the destroyed city below, it spewed a massive amount of flame like a giant flamethrower.

The flames were dark and intense, melting everything in sight.

The fire blasted down with incredible force, creating rivers of molten destruction.

Buildings that had withstood the lightning now turned to liquid metal and ash, collapsing into glowing, bubbling pools.

The intense heat caused the ground to crack and split, as if the earth itself was breaking apart.

Few people who had survived the lightning now faced a new horror.

The dark flames spread rapidly, consuming everything.

The inferno raged on, turning the city into a scene of utter devastation. Trees and plants were reduced to ash in seconds, and the flames leapt from building to building, leaving a trail of destruction.

As the dark flames continued to pour from the magic circle, the city was swallowed by an ocean of fire.

Why did I do all of this? It was to remind everyone that I could destroy the world if I wished to.

Fear was the best motivation to keep people from betraying me. After this, everyone would obey the rules I imposed without question.

No, they would beg to follow them, terrified that they might be next.

In their minds, I am someone who resorts to total eradication when my decisions were challenged.

After I was done , I looked at the camera and a smile appeared on my lips.

"Don't worry, everyone who follows the new world order is safe. I will usher humanity into a new era. But for those stupid enough to challenge me, I'll pay you a visit and show you that I don't give second chances," I warned.

As I spoke, I teleported to other countries showing resistance and did the same. I only targeted three or four places, not wanting to steal the job of the United Power.

After I finished, I teleported to Seoul and reverted to my default form, with dark hair and eyes, blending in with the masses.

I watched the events unfold on the big screen in the city square while sipping a Milktea.

The people around me had no idea that the one responsible for everything was standing right there with them.

"Fuck that dude, does he think he's a god or something just because he's powerful and extremely handsome!" I roared in anger, hoping to find agreement from those around me.

But as I shouted in protest, someone grabbed me by the shoulder.

"Young man, I don't think that's a good thing to say. We must accept that this world already belongs to Lord Zyden. It's better if you keep quiet. You never know, maybe he has the ability to hear everything," they cautioned.

The others nodded in agreement and echoed similar sentiments.

"Why should I shut up? That guy is a monster! He kills everyone like they're nothing. Fuck him, he's a psychotic prick!"

"Stop talking nonsense, you bastard! You might get this city destroyed!" the crowd angrily scolded me. The fear I had instilled seemed more effective than I had anticipated.

"You bunch of cowards! It's better to die than serve a crazy god!" I replied defiantly, then turned around. Discover hidden content at My Virtual Library Empire
