Chapter 12: Chapter 12: Remember The Name
After the previous events, the Alabama team had completely lost their fighting spirit.
They passed the ball continuously, trying to score inside, but their shot was ruthlessly blocked by Gorin, who came out of nowhere.
Aina University was well prepared. Facing an opponent that could no longer resist, all they needed to do was dominate without restraint.
Oliver grabbed the rebound from the blocked shot. An Alabama player instinctively tried to stop him, but Oliver sped past him and dashed toward the frontcourt.
His teammates, Gorin and shooting guard Franklin, followed closely behind.
Oliver was too fast. He left everyone far behind.
He sprinted straight into Alabama's half-court. Both Alabama and Aina University players trailed behind him.
Like a flash of lightning, Oliver raced forward. Just before reaching the three-point line, he glanced back. Seeing that no one could catch up, he made a decision in his mind.
It was time for a show-stopping dunk.
Without hesitation, he took a few steps forward and leaped from just inside the free-throw line.
Carried by his momentum, he soared toward the basket, his right hand making a full-circle motion mid-air.
"BANG!"
A thunderous slam echoed through the arena.
The crowd was in an uproar. No one had expected such a spectacular game from an ordinary matchup.
So many twists and turns.
Most importantly, they were witnessing the birth of a star.
"Oh my god, that was a windmill dunk!!!"
"That was unreal! That's the most amazing dunk I've ever seen."
"Absolutely incredible! Perfect vertical leap, fluid motion—unbelievable."
The audience gasped in excitement.
With his outstanding performance, Oliver had conquered everyone.
Even Alabama's head coach had to admit it. He cursed in his heart, thinking that Aina University had struck gold.
To recruit such an extraordinary player…
With Oliver on their roster, few teams in the league could stop Aina University from rising.
(First Half Ends)
As the first half concluded, Oliver had played 13 minutes, recording 11 points and 5 assists.
A flawless performance in every aspect.
He displayed high basketball IQ, great court vision, and excellent playmaking skills. His passes were always precise, finding teammates effortlessly.
A true gem.
Everyone believed that Oliver was destined to make a name for himself in the NCAA.
Throughout the first half, Aina University had complete control.
Alabama looked demoralized. They relied on individual plays and forced shots, trailing by nearly 20 points at halftime.
Even Aina University's bench players, who were originally on par with Alabama, dominated under the leadership of their starters.
And they continued widening the gap.
Everyone could see it—victory belonged to Aina University.
(Second Half Begins)
In the second half, Alabama attempted a comeback.
But Oliver crushed their hopes with two consecutive three-pointers.
Any momentum they had built was instantly extinguished.
"Sigh…" Alabama's head coach let out a long sigh.
Who would have thought their first game of the season would be such a crushing defeat?
Last year, Aina University was no match for Alabama. But this season, everything changed because of one player—Oliver.
The coach had originally focused his defensive strategy on Gorin. But Oliver's sudden emergence completely shattered his game plan.
Final Score: Aina University Dominates
When the final buzzer sounded, the scoreboard read:
79-57
Aina University crushed Alabama by 22 points, securing an easy victory in their first regular-season game.
Oliver played 24 minutes, finishing with 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 10 assists.
For a player debuting in the NCAA, these were flawless numbers.
But Oliver's impact couldn't be measured by stats alone.
He was a magician on the court, controlling the flow of the game.
The two moves that left the deepest impression on the crowd were:
His Euro step—his strides were so wide and sudden that defenders were left helpless.
His step-back three-pointer—it always looked like a travel, always seemed blockable, yet no one could touch it.
And then there was his insane leaping ability.
Who would have believed that a 175 cm (5'9") guard could pull off a windmill dunk?
A powerful tomahawk slam?
If they hadn't witnessed it themselves, no one would have believed it.
Standing on the court, Oliver soaked in the moment as his teammates surrounded him.
The entire arena chanted his name.
"Oliver! Oliver!"
He smiled.
He had arrived.
On the sidelines, Aina University's head coach, Boeheim, was ecstatic.
His star point guard had finally arrived.
This season, they could aim higher.
Only one person on Aina University looked grim, standing apart from the celebrating team.
Klint.
He had only played six minutes in the opening stretch of the game, recording zero points and two turnovers.
After that, he never saw the court again.
Oliver noticed Klint's resentful glare and smirked.
If Klint stayed out of his way, fine.
But if he wanted to challenge him?
Oliver would make him regret it.

NCAA Madness Begins
Aina University had kicked off their NCAA journey with a perfect start.
The NCAA season consists of a regular season and the 64-team championship tournament.
The regular season, also called conference play, includes 346 Division I teams, divided into various conferences that compete for a championship.
Each conference champion qualifies for the 64-team tournament, also known as "March Madness."
The tournament features 32 conference champions plus additional invited teams with strong performances.
Over the course of March, they battle in a single-elimination format to determine the NCAA champion.
March Madness is known as the most intense, unpredictable tournament in basketball.
One loss and you're out.
Upsets are common. Even the NBA takes a backseat to the NCAA Finals.
For every team, making it into the 64-team tournament is the ultimate goal.
Aina University had the same dream.
Their best historical finish was the Round of 64—they had never even reached the Round of 32.
At the start of this season, Coach Boeheim's goal was simply to make it into the 64-team tournament.
After recruiting Gorin, he was confident they could build a system to reach March Madness.
But after today's game?
His ambitions grew.
With Oliver leading the team and forming an unstoppable duo with Gorin…
The Round of 32? The Sweet 16?
No longer just a dream.

A New Powerhouse is Born
After the game, Oliver walked off the court.
This time, after using his "Harden Experience Card," he didn't feel as exhausted as before.
Clearly, his recent training was paying off.
But even more exciting—he discovered something unexpected.
He had been given a temporary "LeBron Experience Card", and somehow, 20% of its attributes remained permanently.
This meant his once-weak physique had improved significantly.
His stamina had also increased.
And this was LeBron James.
Even 20% of peak LeBron's abilities were enough for Oliver to dominate at this level.
Without any question,
They will remember his name.
