Naruto: You Call This A Medical Ninja?

Otsutsuki Kaguya refused Reiki's offer to escort her back to her room and left, feeling conflicted.

As Kaguya departed, Reiki sat back down by the hot spring.

He picked up a bottle of wine and took a small sip.

"Am I fated to have encounters with women today?" Reiki muttered with a bitter smile.

After putting down the flask, Reiki returned to his room to rest.

Meanwhile, Kaguya found herself unable to sleep.

Her thoughts were occupied not only by Reiki's questions but also by the lingering impact of today's unexpected encounter. A faint blush remained on her face.

"Black Zetsu!"

Kaguya formed a hand seal, summoning Black Zetsu.

At that moment, Black Zetsu was holding a test tube, clearly in the middle of conducting experiments with Orochimaru.

This Black Zetsu, the one working with Orochimaru, was connected to Kaguya through a transmission channel. Other fragments of Black Zetsu were assisting Reiki in training the recruits at the special training camp.

"Mother!?"

Black Zetsu stared in shock upon seeing Kaguya.

He quickly set the test tube aside, his expression puzzled.

Kaguya should be safe in her room—why would she summon him now?

"I encountered the ninja who was with you previously—the medical ninja named Reiki," Kaguya said slowly.

"Reiki?!" Black Zetsu's curiosity piqued.

"That guy left the special training camp, saying he needed time for personal training. So he's in the Land of Hot Springs now?"

"Mother, you've had contact with him?"

"Yes." Kaguya nodded. "I think it's time I seriously consider his previous proposal for cooperation."

"Black Zetsu, you've spent more time with them. I'd like to hear your thoughts."

Kaguya admitted her unfamiliarity with the current ninja world. She needed to understand the evolving use of tailed beasts, the infiltration of Sage Land techniques, and the vast array of bloodline limits created by chakra's diffusion—many of which were completely foreign to her.

"Based on my understanding of the ninja world, the pace of progress is astounding," Black Zetsu began. "In a short time, the strength of all ninjas has surged significantly.

"I've been working with a Konoha researcher, Orochimaru, to study advanced techniques like Yin-Yang Release Chakra…"

Black Zetsu detailed everything he had observed, leaving nothing out.

This information wasn't commonly known, not even among high-ranking ninja.

After hearing this, Kaguya fell silent.

Indeed, according to Black Zetsu's insights, the ninja world had built a foundation capable of opposing the Otsutsuki clan.

"Let's wait. Soon, others will come," Kaguya finally said.

"When they arrive and interact with the ninja world, I will be able to make a decision."

"Mother, you…"

"Yes, I've accelerated the timeline. And I will take action myself."

Before Black Zetsu could voice his concerns, Kaguya affirmed her decision.

"I understand," Black Zetsu replied. "Should I inform Reiki and the others about this?"

"For now, I think my priority should be integrating into the Ninja Alliance's special training camp," Kaguya concluded.

Meanwhile, Reiki had fallen into a deep sleep, though he had placed hundreds of protective barriers around his room.

Given the threats against his life, and knowing his enemies wouldn't be weak, such precautions were necessary.

The next morning, Reiki woke up feeling refreshed.

After lifting the protective barriers, he opened the door—only to be startled by a familiar figure.

"Kaguya-sama!?"

Reiki jumped in surprise as he saw Kaguya standing at his door.

She was dressed elegantly, her appearance entirely different from her vulnerable state the night before.

"Kaguya-sama, how long have you been standing here?"

"Reiki, I've decided to join the special training camp," Kaguya said plainly.

"I'll take her there first. Do you have anything to arrange or explain?" Black Zetsu emerged from Kaguya's sleeve, indicating their decision had been made during the night.

"Lady Kaguya, that's excellent news!" Reiki replied, smiling.

He quickly provided instructions. "Take Black Zetsu with you. There shouldn't be any issues.

"However, it's best to prepare a few things beforehand.

"Oh, and Kaguya-sama, please go easy during training. I'm not at the camp to oversee things directly, but I'm confident you'll manage well."

Reiki handed over a few potions and gave a detailed rundown of the special training camp's structure, its objectives, and the things Kaguya should be cautious about.

Although he was eager to accompany her back and begin new training sessions, Reiki knew the camp had not yet reached its bottleneck. Kaguya's main role, for now, would be to assist the instructors.

After laying out the precautions, Reiki stepped back.

"Reiki, when will you return?" Black Zetsu asked as he secured the potions.

"It will take over a year," Reiki replied. "I need time to investigate the Evil God Cult and address some unresolved issues.

"Additionally, I have a summons from the Sage Land regarding my contracted psychic beast. That will take some time as well."

"I understand," Black Zetsu said.

With that, Kaguya and Black Zetsu departed.

Watching them leave, a faint smile appeared on Reiki's face.

Who would have thought that this journey would yield such an unexpected windfall?
