Naruto: The Tale of an Otsutsuki

Chapter 263: Chapter 263: The Rebirth of the Tailed Beast

Unlike the first time Little Leopard devoured Urashiki, this time, after consuming Kaguya, its stamina and chakra surged significantly.

The most noticeable change was its increased size, now towering over its surroundings. Little Leopard's telepathic complaints of "I'm so full" echoed continuously, giving Kirito a clear indication of its overindulgence.

In theory, Little Leopard would eventually digest this overwhelming energy, but the sheer magnitude of Kaguya's chakra threatened to transform it into a new God Tree, which was far from Kirito's intention.

To prevent this, Kirito brought Little Leopard to the First Sphere dimension, preparing to "help" it shed this excess energy.

"This is a good opportunity to test the Yin-Yang Release technique I learned from the Sage of Six Paths," Kirito thought, bringing his fingers together in a hand seal.

Little Leopard, understanding Kirito's intentions, obediently lay beside him, its distended belly rising and falling as it waited for the process to begin.

Upon examining Little Leopard's chakra, Kirito discovered the source of its indigestion: the Ten-Tails chakra it had consumed was unstable, split into distinct portions that resisted assimilation.

"These are likely the chakras of the Nine Tailed Beasts originally separated by the Sage of Six Paths," Kirito mused. "Even when recombined into the Ten-Tails, their individuality persists, making the chakra inherently unstable."

"In the original events, Naruto exploited this instability to disrupt Kaguya's control. Well, I don't need this chakra, so it's time to let them go."

Kirito began separating and reshaping the mixed chakra within Little Leopard using his Yin-Yang Release. Slowly, the individual tailed beast chakras emerged, taking form on Little Leopard's back.

Kakaka! The skin on Little Leopard's back rippled and bulged as seven distinct tailed beasts began to take shape. The portions of chakra belonging to the Nine-Tails and Eight-Tails, being too small, were instead converted into pure chakra energy and dissipated by Kirito.

"It might hurt a little, so bear with it," Kirito said telepathically.

"Roar!" Little Leopard growled, bracing itself.

With a final burst of effort, Kirito completed the separation. Seven massive tailed beasts emerged from Little Leopard's back, landing on the ground with earth-shaking thuds that sent sandstorms rippling through the desert.

"Finally free!" Shukaku, the One-Tail, cheered, bouncing slightly in its new form.

"Is the Ten-Tails finally defeated?" asked Kokuo, the Five-Tails, its pristine white fur resembling a majestic steed. "Where is this place?"

Son Goku, the Four-Tails, pointed to Little Leopard, who now lay sprawled on the ground, towering even over the tailed beasts. "Who's that guy? I don't recognize him. Is he a new sibling?"

"No, it has ten tails," Saiken, the Six-Tails, noted, its slug-like form rippling with caution. "But... it's not the same as the Ten-Tails we remember."

"An enemy?" Chomei, the Seven-Tails, asked, causing the others to eye Little Leopard warily.

"Hold on, everyone!"

Although Kirito's human form was minuscule compared to the tailed beasts, his voice resonated directly into their minds, capturing their attention.

Seeing all eyes on him, Kirito continued, "I defeated Kaguya, the original Ten-Tails and source of your chakra, and set you free. Little Leopard here helped make that possible. Now, you're free to choose where you want to go."

"Really? I don't want to be sealed inside a human again," Isobu, the Three-Tails, said warily.

"You can find the blond boy Naruto," Kirito replied. "He has the answer to your questions."

Kirito inwardly sighed at passing the responsibility to Naruto. He had no intention of managing the tailed beasts indefinitely.

"That sounds like what the old man said," Matatabi, the Two-Tails, mused, her blue, flame-like fur flickering thoughtfully. "Should we really go find the blond boy first?"

"I want to see that stupid fox," Shukaku announced. "I bet it's still miserable, stuck in that brat's body! Hahaha!"

"Do you know who this blond boy is?" Kokuo asked Kirito.

Kirito nodded. With this reassurance, Kokuo also decided to seek out Naruto, following the prophecy of the Sage of Six Paths.

With Shukaku and Kokuo taking the lead, the other tailed beasts quickly made their decisions. They all agreed to meet Naruto, curious about what the Sage's prophecy truly meant.

However, Kirito interrupted before they could leave. "This isn't the Shinobi World. You'll need to wait for me to recover my strength before I can send you back."

In reality, Kirito wanted to avoid sending them back immediately, as doing so could risk them falling into Sasuke's hands.

The tailed beasts, understanding the need to conserve energy for space travel, agreed to wait. In the meantime, they split into two groups: the "Exploration Party," led by Shukaku and Son Goku, and the "Friendship Party," led by Saiken and Kokuo, who stayed with Little Leopard to bond.

The next day, Kirito announced that he had "recovered his strength." Donning Little Leopard, now in the form of a hat, and carrying the Crimson gourd that Little Leopard had recently regurgitated, he led the seven tailed beasts through Yomotsu Hirasaka.

Back in the Shinobi World, dawn had broken over the battlefield. The branches and vines of the God Tree World had withered and fallen, and people trapped in the Infinite Tsukuyomi were now working to clean up the aftermath.

Kirito surveyed the scene, his gaze quickly falling on Naruto, who was missing his right hand.

"Strange," Kirito thought. "Even with Sasuke's weakened state, how did Naruto and Sasuke end up in a stalemate?"

Guiding the seven towering tailed beasts, Kirito began walking toward Naruto. Unsurprisingly, the arrival of Kirito and the tailed beasts drew everyone's attention. Their sheer size and presence left no room for subtlety.
