Naruto: The Tale of an Otsutsuki

Chapter 257: Chapter 257: The Turn of Fate

Kaguya hadn't intended to use the Gravity Dimension.

While it was effective at suppressing chakra and limiting the movements of those with enormous reserves, it affected her as well. Even as the creator of this space, Kaguya couldn't escape its effects entirely.

She had avoided this dimension since consuming the Divine Tree's fruit, unwilling to be seen in a weakened state. But with Kirito entangled and her options limited, she hastily transported them both to this dimension, hoping the gravitational suppression would separate them.

Her gamble had worked. Kirito was pinned to the ground, struggling under the weight of the oppressive force. Meanwhile, her own chakra depletion had reduced the gravity's hold on her, allowing her to move with relative ease.

Kaguya's Execution

Step by step, Kaguya approached Kirito.

"Mother, make sure he's completely destroyed," Black Zetsu's voice echoed from within her long sleeves.

"I know," Kaguya replied coldly. As the incarnation of the Ten Tails, she understood better than anyone how difficult it was to kill someone with the Rinne Sharingan.

Sharp bone spurs protruded from her palm—All-Killing Ash Bones, a weapon capable of erasing the target completely.

Though she regretted not being able to absorb Kirito's chakra, she knew that eliminating him took precedence. If she could claim his chakra, she'd instantly regain her prime power, leaving no one to stand against her.

With trembling hands, Kaguya raised the bone spur, aiming directly at Kirito's head.

"Die!"

The bone spur shot forward, straight and deadly. Kaguya envisioned it piercing through Kirito's skull in mere moments.

Kirito's Counter

"Heh…" Kirito smirked as the bone spur approached.

Summoning all his strength, he pushed his trembling body upward with his hands, activating a jutsu he had prepared all along.

"Shadow Clone Technique!"

Boom!

As the bone spur struck, a shadow clone materialized in front of Kirito, taking the brunt of the attack.

The spur sank into the clone's abdomen, and the area around the wound began crumbling like weathered stone.

The shadow clone looked at its disintegrating body and gazed at Kaguya indifferently. "So that's how it works…"

"It's useless. No matter how many clones you create, I'll destroy them all," Kaguya said, unimpressed.

She prepared another bone spur, her palm glowing ominously.

Kirito's Feint

Just as Kaguya extended her arm to attack again, Kirito launched himself upward with surprising force. His body tore through the disintegrating shadow clone, heading straight for Kaguya.

"What?!" Kaguya gasped.

Panicked, she activated Amenominaka once more, shifting dimensions in an instant.

Back to the Sky

The chilling wind of the Ice Dimension greeted Kaguya as she appeared mid-air. She quickly avoided Kirito's pounce, ascending higher into the sky.

"How is he suddenly able to move?" Kaguya muttered to herself, bewildered.

"Mother," Black Zetsu said thoughtfully, "I believe it's the shadow clone. When he created it, he divided his chakra equally between himself and the clone. By sacrificing half his chakra, he reduced the gravitational suppression on his body, allowing him to move."

Hearing this explanation, Kaguya's tension eased slightly. She might have failed to kill him, but his chakra had been halved—a significant advantage for her.

Reinforcements Arrive

As Kirito prepared to attack again, two familiar figures landed beside him.

"Kirito, where have you been?" Naruto exclaimed, relief washing over his face. "I couldn't sense you at all! Glad you're okay. I just managed to save Sasuke."

"Another dimension?" Sasuke asked, his voice weary but focused as he glanced at Kaguya hovering above them. "We've confirmed this isn't an illusion. These are real, separate worlds."

From her sleeve, Black Zetsu reminded Kaguya, "Mother, don't forget about those two. Their seals are dangerous."

"They carry my power," Kaguya replied, her gaze narrowing as she sensed the faint traces of Hagoromo and Hamura's chakra in Naruto and Sasuke.

The Trap is Set

Naruto and Sasuke approached Kirito, exchanging subtle glances.

"Sasuke!"

"Got it."

When they reached Kirito, Sasuke's Rinnegan glowed as he activated Amenotejikara.

In an instant, Kaguya and Kirito's positions swapped. Kaguya found herself standing between Naruto and Sasuke, while Kirito was now high in the air, looking down at the scene.

Naruto and Sasuke moved quickly, their palms glowing with the power of Yin and Yang bestowed by the Sage of the Six Paths.

As long as their hands touched Kaguya simultaneously, the sealing jutsu Six Paths: Chibaku Tensei would activate.

A Moment Too Late

"Success!" Naruto shouted as his hand made contact with Kaguya's shoulder. He turned to see Sasuke closing in.

But Sasuke's hand wavered mid-air.

Exhausted from chakra depletion and forcing Amenotejikara, Sasuke's body failed him. His movements slowed, and Kaguya seized the opportunity.

Two sharp white needles extended from her sleeve, piercing Naruto and Sasuke in their torsos. The sudden attack caused their arms to drop, interrupting the seal.

Kaguya's Retaliation

"Your power is mine now," Kaguya said coldly.

She extended her hands, gripping Naruto and Sasuke by their necks. Using the last of her chakra, she activated her Rinne Sharingan once more.

"Amenominaka!"
