After concluding the critical discussions, the conversation between Minato and Yagura shifted to lighter topics cooperation in missions, economic ties, and mutual trade agreements.

Both leaders shared the hope that by fostering understanding between their villages, the longstanding estrangement could be reduced.

They agreed that more communication and joint efforts between the ninjas of Konoha and Kirigakure were essential to building trust.

While no formal alliance had been signed, their dialogue showed promise for future collaboration.

Meanwhile, Naruto sat quietly, seemingly paying attention. In reality, his mind wandered to less cooperative thoughts: 'Should the ninja sword taken from Zabuza be returned? What about Ao's Byakugan?' These musings were far from diplomatic.

Kakashi, on the other hand, was lost in his turmoil. The revelation about Obito had shaken him.

'Obito is alive. He caused the Nine-Tails attack. But… what do I do now?' The conflict between his loyalty to the village and his bond with his best friend left Kakashi silent and contemplative.

When the meeting ended, Yagura stood to leave. Minato offered, "Why not stay in Konoha for a few days? We haven't had the chance to properly host you."

Yagura shook his head politely. "There's no need. Honestly, coming here was already a risk. With so many Sharingan in Konoha, it feels like I'm walking into a trap." He chuckled lightly, but the sentiment was genuine.

Minato didn't press further, understanding Yagura's cautious stance.

At the Village Gate

At the gates of Konoha, Izumo and Kotetsu stood with unusual posture and enthusiasm.

While they usually registered arrivals and departures with casual efficiency, today was different. Hokage-sama himself was coming to see off the delegation.

The pair hoped to use this opportunity to request a transfer to active duty. Though they appreciated the importance of their current roles, they longed for the thrill of missions and fieldwork.

Their optimism dimmed slightly when they noticed a figure waiting near the gate.

It was Haku, slim and serene, with a quiet presence that made them sigh wistfully. If only he were Hokage-sama's adopted daughter instead of son…

Haku had come at Naruto's request. Upon learning that Zabuza was no longer a rogue ninja but an integral part of Kirigakure's reform efforts, Haku felt immense joy.

Knowing how deeply Zabuza loved his forehead protector and his dream of a better Hidden Mist, Haku was certain this new chapter in Zabuza's life brought him great happiness.

When Zabuza finally arrived, Haku's emotions condensed into a warm smile. "Mr. Zabuza, long time no see."

Zabuza, now thinner but more focused, softened at the sight of Haku. "Ah, long time no see."

The two stood in silence for a moment, exchanging unspoken understanding. Their paths had diverged, but the respect and bond between them remained unshaken.

Parting Words

At the final farewell, Yagura turned to Minato with sincerity. "Fourth Hokage..no, Minato it has been an honour to meet you. If only we were born in the same village."

Yagura's admiration was clear. Minato's ideals, charisma, and strength inspired confidence and goodwill, making him the kind of ninja no one would want as an enemy.

Minato smiled warmly. "Let's work to make our villages as close as family. There's no reason two villages can't act as one. You're welcome to visit anytime, Yagura."

The two leaders shook hands firmly, their shared vision for peace resonating.

Aftermath

As the Kirigakure delegation departed, Kakashi trailed behind Minato, torn between his desire for answers and his hesitation to ask.

Noticing Kakashi's silence, Minato placed a hand on his head, just as he had done years ago. "Kakashi," he said softly, "I know you have questions. I'll explain everything."

For a moment, Kakashi felt as though he were 13 again, back when Minato's reassuring hand had been a source of comfort.

Memories of team photos and youthful dreams flashed through his mind. 'So much has changed… but Minato-sensei's warmth hasn't.'

That night, Minato told Kakashi the truth about Obito. Learning that his best friend was alive was a bittersweet revelation.

Obito, the boy who had saved Kakashi's life and given him his Sharingan, had become someone almost unrecognizable.

As Kakashi lay awake, staring at an old team photo, he whispered, "Obito… I'll bring you back. Even if it means dragging you home to face your sins. We can't let you keep destroying everything."

The Next Morning

At the training ground, Sakura greeted Naruto with a yawn. "Morning, Naruto."

"You look tired, Sakura. Are things okay at the hospital?"

Sakura rubbed her shoulders. "It's exhausting. I've been doing surgeries nonstop. We managed to save everyone, though."

"Great work," Naruto said earnestly. He respected the tireless efforts of Konoha's medical ninjas.

"It's nothing," Sakura replied, brushing it off. Then, with concern, she asked, "Where's Sasuke? He's never late."

Naruto raised an eyebrow. "He was fine yesterday, just sulking because he didn't get to fight. You don't think he's skipping, do you?"

Sasuke's tardiness was unusual, especially for someone as disciplined as him. Even Kakashi's chronic lateness didn't explain why Sasuke hadn't shown up.

Their waiting ended abruptly when Minato appeared, his expression grim. His words hit like a thunderclap:

"Sasuke has had an accident."
