Last Time On NTLHOS:

"But we will not," said another, "because our war is with ourselves and our past, not him."

The largest figure sighed, pulling his hood tighter. "In seven days, the descendant of Ashina—this Uzumaki Naruto—will ascend, and the entire world will watch. Our shame, the old names we carry, might demand that we act, especially now that the boy dares to revive those entities that nearly destroyed our clan. Those beings are as treacherous as any devils. But what should we do? Should we let him rule in peace, knowing he is starting a new cycle and serving these treacherous forces, or should we put an end to this madness?"

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

Now:

Dawn's light spilled across Uzushio, revealing a realm reborn. The once-empty ruins of a docks now teemed with large and ornate ships flying the banners of countless noble houses and distant lands. The harbors rang with voices—some hushed and awe, others bright with curiosity. Great sails, dyed in colors from every corner of the elemental nations, fluttered against a sky that seemed almost too calm for such a historic day. Shinobis in gleaming armor marched, samurai with polished blades, and shinobi from disparate villages moved in careful patterns, ensuring order in the midst of a spectacle no one had ever thought possible.

Invitation and word had spread like wildfire: after centuries of dormancy, Uzushio, home of one of the oldesr line, stands again to announce its leader—not a like all the predecessors of the Uzumaki line- a lord but an Emperor, they whispered. A coronation to mark the Uzumaki clan's return to the forefront. Nobles and merchants, clan heads and scholars, all flocked here, unwilling to miss what rumour called the "Event Of The Century." Many had come simply to bear witness, uncertain if this was madness or greatness in creation. Others had arrived with carefully crafted gifts or offers of alliance, hoping to secure Favor with the man now known to have woven this entire scenario from the shadows for this to occur.

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

Even the Five Great Daimyōs were present, each escorted with full honors. Ishicava Katagamey, the Land of Fire's Daimyō, resplendent in his crimson silk and flanked by a veritable army of shinobi and stoic samurai, stepped onto Uzushio's newly built piers and found himself quietly astonished by what he saw. The city had grown ten to twenty times larger than the last time he had visited as a child. Its architecture seamlessly merged the iconic Uzumaki spirals with sleek modern lines, all while preserving the aesthetic essence of the Uzumaki heritage. The distant hum of industry and commerce drifted on the salty breeze, a testament to the city's revival.

Within the newly constructed, luxurious port—its floor paved with polished black granite and framed by a grand stonework entrance worthy of rivaling even the Nine-Tails in size, large enough for the beast to pass through comfortably—Princess Tsunade, surrounded by platoons of guards, personally greeted each of the Five Daimyōs and the Five Kages at the main entrance as they arrived individually. She wore ornate, formal attire that clearly reflected her new station. With each step she took, citizens and servants hushed and bowed, acknowledging the new imperial dignity that demanded strict protocols.

The Daimyō of the Land of Fire, wary yet intrigued, inclined his head to Princess Tsunade—or was it Empress now? When he arrived, he had brought an entire armada of ships with an army's worth of shinobi and samurai as a show of power. Yet the Uzumakis had anticipated this. They blockaded the ocean straits with a massive number of their own ships, arranging vessels to guide each visiting noble's entry according to rank. They literally created lanes of passage in the ocean itself, prompting the Fire Daimyō to wonder, "Who has such a massive number of ships, all manned by full crew of shinobis?"

As a high noble, he was permitted seven personal guards and fourteen elite escorts hidden among his chosen shinobi, along with two guards for each primary royal member of his house. Only after he accepted the guest rights—the oldest courtesy among daimyōs and nobles—did he order his small army retinue to withdraw to their ships, leaving only the permitted number to accompany him.

He remembered Lady Tsunade as a lost Senju princess, a wandering drunkard. Now she stood before him as the soon-to-be Empress Consort of Uzushiogakure, a title that carried unimaginable weight. Her voice was calm, measured as she addressed the gathering: "Your Graces, it is a pleasure to have you here. Villas have been prepared in the inner sanctum, and we have ensured every courtesy. I trust your journeys were eventful?"

No one missed the subtle shift in her tone—from what might have been it's an honor to have you here to mere pleasure, spoke volumes. The distinction, slight as it was, but reminding them that this was no ordinary audience and this was an audience among equals.

As the Fire Daimyō arrived at his designated time slot, he was ushered into an ornate chamber outside the main entrance to Uzu and offered refreshments. From there, he observed his fellow five Daimyōs arriving one by one, each attempting their own show of power—attempts which the Uzumaki appeared to have anticipated with ease. As all five Daimyōs and the Kages gathered, the main entrance began to open.

The Daimyō of Wind, wearing desert robes embroidered with grey and sapphire, inclined his head. "Remarkably so. Your hospitality is noted."

The Earth Daimyō, a portly figure in dark red robes, eyed the surroundings with obvious envy. The notion of a new imperial line forming here, beneath Uzumaki banners, was equal parts fascinating and unsettling.

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

From behind the group, the Raikage arrived with his elite guards, exuding his usual aura of strength and command. The Mizukage followed, unable to fully conceal her astonishment—and envy—at the splendor surrounding them. The Tsuchikage floated in quietly, his expression carefully controlled. Oh, he was awed by the grandeur before him, but for a single fleeting moment, It was dejavu, he swore he saw an ethereal image of His Grace Ashina coming out when the large entrance was opened, which gave him shudders.

The vision took him back to that fateful day long ago, when invaders had breached the much smaller entrance comparatively that had stood in this very spot if his memories was correct. He remembered how His Grace had emerged not with the grandfatherly warmth Onoki had occasionally witnessed during his visits as an emissary to Uzushio's court—but as a terrible force of nature. Oh the devastation that followed still haunted him. Onoki exhaled quietly, shaking the memory of his younger self fleeing in terror as His Grace activated the Grand Seal. That seal had claimed countless lives and erected the impenetrable barrier that had stood as Uzushio's burial ground that no one could open or penetrate—until now.

It was a grim reminder that Onoki was the last Kage alive from that ill-fated day, the only one who bore firsthand knowledge of the ferocity of the Uzumakis. He closed his eyes briefly in remembrance, then steadied himself, banishing the memory. The splendor before him—greater than Uzu had ever been—demanded his focus. He drew a quiet breath and stepped forward to join the others.

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

Hiruzen Sarutobi arrived in silence, his gaze unreadable. He offered a deep bow to his Daimyō, a lighter one to the others, and a nod of acknowledgment to his fellow Kages. The Hokage and the Tsuchikage exchanged tense nods, a silent recognition of shared history and restrained rivalry.

The gathering of these ten figures—five Kages and five Daimyōs—was unprecedented. Not even Hashirama Senju, the First Hokage, had achieved such a turnout in his time. Yet, this gathering was not merely for them; it drew not just these prominent leaders but also the influential nobles of the elemental nations—though not every noble dared attend. In the old days, it had been fear that kept them apart. Now, in this era of unprecedented peace—the longest the elemental nations had known in decades—it was awe and the promise of something greater that drew them together.

Tsunade addressed them all: "We have taken measures for your comfort. You are here under guest rights, which we shall uphold without fail as fellow high noble house." She said it meaningfully, aware that guest rights only meant little to shinobi who'd kill their hosts if it served their ends, but this was a different stage. Here Daimyo traditions, the noble tradition and noble protocol are followed due to the event. The Five Daimyōs had accepted guest rights, so they were bound to restrain their Kages from any dishonourable acts.

No one questioned it aloud. They all understood: the eyes of the world were upon Uzushio. The slightest misstep would ripple out, affecting alliances and economies. Wariness walked hand in hand with curiosity.

As Tsunade guided them deeper into the palace, down corridors lined with paintings that echoed ancient Uzumaki legends, one question pulsed in their minds: Where was Naruto Uzumaki? The mastermind behind this grand resurrection… was nowhere to be seen. Some guessed he was preparing for the ceremony, others suspected a deliberate game of power. Whatever the reason, his absence left an unsettling hush.

Outside the palace, beyond guarded courtyards and spiraling streets, citizens and lesser nobles gathered in makeshift pavilions. Noblewoman from the likes of Wagarashi family, an obscure house from the Land of Tea, stood in awe of the bustling market stalls to that of the wife of the fire daimyo. The noble women from Wagarashi family had never left her homeland before, never imagined attending something so grand. Here she was, welcomed without condescension, allowed to witness history. After all the Uzumakis have saved her family and now had an alliance with Land of Tea. Her heart thrummed with nervous excitement. Everyone whispered stories of Naruto Uzumaki, the orphan who became a prince and now a emperor, the banished son of Fourth Hokage who now would claim more than a mere title—he now had claim to an empire.

A group of samurai from different nations, usually suspicious of one another, now stood shoulder-to-shoulder guarding their lords for they knew Uzumaki clan was honours one. They treaded honour with honour and treachery with trechery. They looked around at the architecture, at the seals faintly glowing on walls, at the sense of power woven through every brick and beam.

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

High above, on a distant balcony cloaked by clever illusions, Zabuza Momochi, leaning on the railing, commented to Kammado, "Quite a crowd. Almost makes you nervous, doesn't it?"

Kammado smiled wryly, "Naruto-sama thrives in such tension. I've never doubted that."

Oh yes, no one would dare open their gates to so many powerful figures. Especially not to the five monstrous people capable of erasing entire villages on their own. And where was the Emperor now? Some speculated that he was in a private chamber, finalizing contracts and sealing documents with his council. Others assumed he was meditating in one of the newly revived shrines.

The fourteen shrines—were more than mere structures for Zabuza. After joining Uzu, Zabuza had been introduced to the ways of spirituality by his senpai, Rashirom. Initially skeptical, Zabuza had stumbled upon something profound—something he couldn't quite articulate—that gave new meaning to his life. His goal now was to serve Uzu, not just in strength but by finding personal accomplishment and spiritual fulfilment. Oh he was still the same ruthless man but with sense of humility.

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

The shift in his perspective had started as a passing curiosity, sparked by his senpai. The Emporor had later onn on his dedication to the practice initiated him to a practice of breath and awareness, an initiation that became a turning point. It wasn't forced upon him; instead, it was a chance encounter with an unfamiliar path that changed the direction of his life.

The Daimyō of the Land of Fire allowed himself a single quiet thought: Perhaps Banishing the Uzumaki Naruto was the single biggest mistake he has done. With Princess Tsunade at his side, Naruto Uzumaki had formed something truly unprecedented. The sting of envy and jealousy was couldn't be ignored. He made a mental note to remain flexible in negotiations.

Hiruzen Sarutobi, following behind the daimyo, took in the grandeur. He had once seen the boy as a scruffy orphan son of the mad Uzumaki women. Now, looking at what he'd accomplished. The old Hokage couldn't help but respect the sheer audacity of it all. Though countless plans were running in his mind.

Soon, Tsunade guided the dignitaries into the Hall of Accord—a vast chamber where silken banners in red and white swayed from rafters. Wide, airy windows let in streams of sunlight that caught particles of incense drifting through the air. Servants offered refreshments, and each guest found a seat arranged with careful consideration of rank and relationship. A hush fell over the hall, like the collective holding of breath before a grand performance.

It was not only the great Daimyōs and Kages who had come. From Konoha's elders and clan heads, to Iwa's elders and clan heads, to the chieftains of minor tribes of minor village, and even important figures like Lord Mifune, leader of the samurai.

Each was escorted according to their rank and station. Some arrived with large entourages, others with minimal guard. Yet all were forced to navigate the lanes and channels the Uzumaki had laid at sea.

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

Meanwhile, Konoha's delegation approached from a different entrance—the secondary gate, the Gate of Mathai. This eastern entrance was traditionally used to welcome clan heads and major nobles. Clan leaders, elders, merchants, and prominent nobles stepped onto polished paving stones, their expressions tinged with hesitant awe. Mei Terumī accompanied the Konoha group, tasked with guiding these guests deeper into the city.

Shikaku Nara, walking alongside Hiashi Hyūga and several old clan elders, observed the throngs with a calculating gaze. Iwa's clan heads were visible in a parallel column, escorted by Pakura of the Scorch Release—a woman once considered a missing-nin, now openly paraded as a loyal retainer of Uzushio. The boldness of it left Shikaku's mind spinning. Diplomatic immunity for the entire island was one thing, but still…

Hiashi Hyūga felt a growing unease. He and three elders from his clan, each famous in their own right, had received individual invitations. This allowed them to bring a few additional members compared to most clans. Yet even with this privilege, a disparity was evident. The Uchiha clan, now Konoha's dark star, had arrived in full force. It was no secret that every living Uchiha had been sent a personal invitation. The thought rankled the Hyūga elders.

One of them muttered, "The gathering is so large, yet the host does not personally welcome us. Are we less valued?" The others said nothing, though they, too, noted that only a select few were allowed to walk the 'Lords' Walk'—a ceremonial path reserved for those Uzushio deemed especially distinguished. Still, this path was a step below the Gate of Divine and the Conquerors' Walk, which was reserved for welcoming the Daimyōs and Kages.

At the same time, the Uchiha procession, though large, did not see all of its members treading the prestigious route. By protocol, only clan heads and two chosen representatives were permitted to walk the Lords' Walk. For the Uchiha, this meant that while the entire clan was present somewhere in the city via the Nobles' Walk, only Fugaku Uchiha, Itachi Uchiha, Sasuke Uchiha, and Lady Mikoto—escorted by Shisui and Yashiro—would walk the Lords' Walk. This limitation gave some relief to the Hyūga and others who feared the Uchiha might completely overshadow them. Still, Hokage Sarutobi had instructed all clan heads to avoid showing overt favoritism or dissent to preserve the unity of the delegation.

Danzo Shimura, cane in hand, walked at the front of the Konoha contingent alongside fellow elders. Behind them were the Hyūga, followed by the Uchiha and the rest of the clans. Unlike others, Danzo was not awed by the grandeur. Where others saw splendor, he measured military capability. His sharp eyes noted shinobi stationed at every strategic vantage, a police force whose dojutsu he could not identify due to their masked faces. Attempts to sense underground networks failed—seals and barriers were clearly at work, negating his efforts. He sent a subtle signal to Hiashi Hyūga, who activated his Byakugan but shook his head: even the Hyūga could not penetrate Uzushio's defenses. Danzo scowled inwardly. If Uzushio could hide this much, what else might lie unseen?

Suddenly, a presence flickered at the head of their group. Torifu Akimichi gasped audibly as an old man materialized before them, stepping as if through a veil. The man bore the unmistakable features of an Uzumaki—white hair, purple eyes, and an aura of immense chakra. He wore elegant yet understated robes, and behind him, platoons of ANBU-like guards converged, forming a wide perimeter.

"I'll be damned… as I live and breathe…" Torifu muttered. His son, Chōza, stood beside him, eyes wide with curiosity. "Father," Chōza whispered, "there are nobles everywhere. Watch your tongue!"

Torifu ignored him, recognition dawning. Danzo tightened his grip on his cane, and even Shikaku Nara felt the atmosphere grow heavier. The old man's chakra presence was immense, ancient.

"Who is that man, Father?" Chōza asked quietly.

Torifu inhaled deeply, his voice hushed with reverence. "That's Lord Suifu Uzumaki… one of the Five Grand Marshals who served under His Grace Ashina Uzumaki himself. They were legends in their time. Unimaginably powerful. I never thought to see him alive."

The old man's gaze swept over the group, landing on Torifu. A flicker of recognition crossed his face. "You… you're one of Tobi's boys… I mean, Lord Tobirama's boys, if I recall." His voice was calm yet carried a weight of authority. "You must then be that idiot Rioza's son?"

Torifu managed a respectful, if slightly sheepish, bow. "Yes, my lord," he replied. It seemed Suifu remembered even the smallest details from a bygone era—a testament to how ancient and formidable he truly was.

Danzo's mind raced. If this man had survived, then all of Uzumaki's old secrets and strategies—all their legendary fūinjutsu arts and history—lived on. The emperor-to-be, Naruto Uzumaki, would have full access to knowledge thought lost forever.

Shikaku likewise marveled. To meet a relic of a bygone era, someone who might have spoken with Hashirama as an equal, was astonishing. Suifu's presence answered many questions: the Uzumaki were not reconstructing blindly—they had a living connection to their past.

One of the Hyūga elders, Hidoshi, ventured a question. "What requires this extra protection, Lord Suifu? We see your guards forming a perimeter."

Suifu turned slightly, offering a nod of acknowledgment to the Hyūga elder. "Lord Hyūga," he said in his steady, measured tone. "It has been some time. Or was it your predecessor I last saw?"

"No, my lord," replied Hidoshi Hyūga, the father of Hiashi Hyūga. "I've ceded the position to my son, Hiashi. I now serve as an elder of the clan."

Suifu gave a faint smile. "Hard to keep track over a century," he remarked. "But I ensure security now because our Empress is coming here."

Hidoshi blinked. "Empress? As in Lady Tsunade?" he corrected carefully. "And… the Empress is arriving in person?"

Suifu's eyes crinkled with amusement. "So much change in a generation or two. Yes, the Empress-to-be. She comes to greet certain guests personally." He did not elaborate further, turning his attention back to the path.

As if on cue, Tsunade appeared, parting the small crowd that had formed. People gasped and stepped aside. Even the nobles and elders fell silent, watching the future Empress stride in. She carried herself with poise. Shinobi, nobles, and monks all paused to see whom she approached, bowing as she passed. But the Hyūga elders did not bow, and in return, she ignored them.

Rather than heading straight for the Hyūga, the Ino-Shika-Cho delegation, or the Hokage's advisors, Tsunade walked past them and moved toward the Uchiha. The silence in the courtyard deepened. Her voice was warm but formal, projecting authority and genuine respect: "On behalf of Uzu, we welcome the Uchiha clan as high nobles and Her Grace Lady Mikoto Uchiha and her family."

Mikoto Uchiha, standing beside Fugaku and her sons Itachi and Sasuke, curtsied gracefully. "It is an honor to witness this moment that will be a pivotal point when the histories are written," she said. "And to be welcomed by the lady of the Senju clan—your kindness does us credit."

Tsunade's eyes flickered with a hint of camaraderie. "My fiancé wished to greet you personally, but he is… indisposed at the moment." The chosen word rang delicately, as if Naruto's absence was a carefully timed note in a grand symphony. "It is a great oversight on our part," Tsunade continued, "that you, who once stood equal to my own and my fiancé's lineage, had to enter through the Lord's Walk rather than the Conqueror's Walk. We intend to correct this oversight. We were expecting you at the God's Gate since you are high nobles, but we couldn't find you."

Whispers spread through the crowd. The Senju and Uzumaki acknowledging Uchiha equality? Such things were unthinkable in Konoha's old politics, where the Uchiha were shunned. Yet here, on Uzu's soil, a new narrative took shape. The Hyūga elders exchanged glances, unsettled. Konoha's clan heads each responded differently—some with awe, others with jealousy.

Danzo watched with narrowed eyes. This was dangerous diplomacy. To publicly elevate the Uchiha's status could shift old balances of power. Shikaku wondered, If the Uzumaki Emperor recognized the Uchiha in such a manner, what of other clans?

Koharu was about to speak, but Sukino, unsettlingly silent until now, lifted a hand to stop her. Ahead, Tsunade escorted Mikoto away from the Lords' Walk to the Conqueror's Walk, following the full rites of tradition.

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

The rest of the Uchiha entourage, a large group, moved through the Noble Walk, accompanied by various Konoha members who had received personal invitations—Kakashi Hatake, Yoba Yamashiro, Iwashi Tatami, Shiranui Genma, and others.

Suddenly, Suifu—who had been standing with Tsunade—appeared before them, examining the sizable Konoha contingent. Mahiro Uchiha stepped forward and said, "To see someone a whole generation above me is humbling, My Lord. We met briefly in the past, on opposite sides during the clan war era. It is an honor to finally meet you in person in civil terms."

Suifu nodded, uncertain if he specifically remembered this Uchiha. He replied, "I am here to escort one Lord Mahiro Uchiha and Lord Kosuke Maruboshi."

The crowd murmured, surprised at these words.

Mahiro identified himself, and Kosuke added, "I am no lord, my Lord Suifu. The honor is mine."

Suifu continued, "His Grace, the Emperor, has given special orders that the both of you be granted the highest honor and taken through the God's Gate and the Conqueror's Walk."

As for the Uchiha, Kurama, Hatake...… Lord Suifu listed Naruto's old allies, including the Furen clan (the minor clan of butchers Naruto had saved from the Mitokado clan, who had since sworn a blood oath to follow him.) They were to be escorted by Lady Honoka Uzumaki.

-------------{XX}-----------------------{XXX}-----------------------------{XX}-----------------

Yashiro Uchiha recalled his earlier anger. In Konoha's planning, the Uchiha had been made to follow behind the Hyūga of all clans, a decision accepted by Itachi without Lady Mikoto's knowledge. He had raged at being sidelined yet again, forced to walk after the Elders and Hyūga.

But now, entering Uzushio and witnessing what Naruto had built, Yashiro's anger receded into the background. The marvel of the city left him awestruck—it was beyond compare. At least here, he could see what they had failed to achieve.

Then he saw Lady Tsunade herself come forth to honor Lady Mikoto. Watching the recognition of Lord Mahiro, the special lodgings, and the escort given to the clan members, Yashiro's heart brimmed with pride. Once derided and insulted, the Uchiha were now shown the highest honor. It was more than he had dared to hope for.

Despite Naruto inviting the entire clan, Yashiro had thought his friend might forget about them amidst the chaos of preparations for what was being called the "Event of the Century." Yet Naruto had not forgotten them.
