Chapter 253: Chapter 252 : Kushina's Advice!!

Minato Namikaze arrived at the safe house with his newborn child and his wife, Kushina Uzumaki, using the Flying Thunder God technique.

Under the bright lights, he carefully placed Kushina, who was in his arms, onto the bed. He then gently set the child beside her, gazing tenderly at Kushina's pale face, pain evident in his eyes.

"I'm sorry, Kushina. It's my fault. I didn't protect you or the child well enough."

"It's alright, Minato," Kushina weakly responded.

After giving birth and having the tailed beast forcibly removed from her, Kushina, once full of vitality, was now incredibly frail.

Thanks to the unique constitution of the Uzumaki clan, Kushina survived the extraction of the tailed beast, unlike other Jinchuriki who would have died instantly. However, it only delayed the inevitable.

"Minato, where's Naruto?" Kushina asked weakly. "How is he? I want to say something to him."

"Alright, just wait, Kushina," Minato replied, fighting his sorrow. He moved the baby closer to her and gently said, "Look, Naruto is fine. He's strong."

"Naruto…"

Kushina turned her head to look at her sleeping child.

This was her child. A sense of connection ran through her, and she felt warmth in her heart. A gentle smile appeared on her pale face as she softly said, "Do you see? Minato, Naruto's hair is yellow. He looks like you."

Minato's eyes reddened, and he forced a small smile, gently stroking his wife's hair. "But Naruto's mouth and eyes look more like yours."

"You think when Naruto grows up, he'll look more like who?" Kushina slowly moved her finger, as if touching delicate porcelain. She carefully caressed the baby's soft, pink cheeks, her voice tender as she said, "I think he'll look more like me."

"Hmm, I think so too," Minato replied softly, his gaze full of tenderness.

"No, never mind. It's better if he looks more like you," Kushina chuckled lightly, shaking her head. "His personality should be like yours so he can make more friends."

"Also... don't be picky with your food. Eat well so you can grow big and strong," she said gently, cupping the child's face. Leaning in, she whispered lovingly, "Every day, you need to take a bath to warm your body, and remember, don't stay up too late. Get enough sleep."

"Lastly, make lots and lots of friends, and find those who you can truly trust."

"Please study hard, learn ninjutsu, and grow up to be a strong, reliable, and handsome ninja, just like your father."

"Even if you're not doing well in your studies, don't get discouraged. I believe in you. You'll become a wonderful boy, I'm sure of it!"

"I almost forgot, there's one more very important thing..."

Kushina gently stroked Naruto's face and softly said, "Remember to take good care of your father. He has a strong sense of responsibility, but he always blames himself when things don't go well."

"I'm sorry, Kushina."

Hearing her loving words, Minato could no longer hold back his tears. He tightly grasped her cold, lifeless hand and trembled, crying.

No Jinchuriki could escape death after being separated from their tailed beast.

Even the legendary Sage of Six Paths couldn't prevent this fate. How could a mere Uzumaki be any different?

These were the final words of a mother, speaking to her child about the future.

For the decades to come, she wouldn't be there to watch Naruto grow. Just the thought of it caused Minato's heart to ache.

"Don't cry, Minato. This is not your fault," Kushina said gently, gazing at Minato, who was kneeling by her bedside. She reached out and fixed his messy hair before wiping away his tears.

Then, she softly added, "Take care of Naruto for me. Tell him... tell him that Mommy loves him so much, more than anything."

Tears slid down her face, soaking the pillow beside her.

"Minato... I really... really don't want to leave you both."

At this moment, Kushina couldn't hold back anymore. She cried out, "I wanted to be with you. I wanted to see Naruto grow up, and grow old with you."

"But... but I can't do it."

"I can't stay with you anymore, Minato, Naruto."

"Promise me, you'll take care of Naruto. Promise me you won't forget me, okay?"

"I promise you!"

Minato looked at Kushina, his eyes red, speaking each word carefully: "I will take care of Naruto, and I won't forget you, Kushina."

"That's good."

Kushina cried as she tightly embraced Minato, as if trying to merge into him.

Minato responded, gently kissing her.

After a long moment, their lips parted.

Kushina gazed at him deeply, as though trying to carve his face into her heart. Despite her reluctance, she made a choice: "Go, Minato. You have more important things to do. Konoha... and everyone, they're all waiting for you."

"I..."

Minato was about to speak but was stopped when Kushina pressed a finger to his lips.

"Go, Minato."

Kushina spoke softly: "Do what you need to do. I'll be fine here. I'll wait for you to come back."

"Okay."

Minato knew he couldn't argue with his wife. He whispered, "We promised... when I come back, okay?"

"Mm."

Kushina nodded slightly: "Go, Minato. I'll wait for you."

Minato didn't hesitate anymore. He gave one last deep look at Kushina, then disappeared from the bright room.

But as soon as Minato left, Kushina smiled sadly. Her eyelids slowly closed.

"I'm sorry, Minato. Please forgive me. Don't blame me..."

"Good night, Naruto."

In the quiet room, Kushina closed her eyes.

But in a corner of the room, unnoticed by anyone, a brass oil lamp suddenly flickered to life. Blue flames, like little spirits, leaped in the air.

The enormous Nine-Tails suddenly appeared in Konoha, and Sarutobi Hiruzen, leading the Anbu, rushed to confront it.

Dressed in armor, Sarutobi Hiruzen gripped his enlarged Adamantine Staff, and for a moment, he managed to suppress the frenzied Nine-Tails, slowly forcing it away from the center of the village.

However, the problem was that Obito, standing nearby, had no intention of staying out of it. His goal was to destroy Konoha.

"Old man, have you forgotten about me?" Obito sneered, a cold grin spreading across his face. Such an interesting event couldn't happen without him involved.

"Stop him!" Sarutobi Hiruzen, who was still fighting the Nine-Tails, noticed Obito's plan to interfere. He furrowed his brows and shouted, "Be careful. This guy's jutsu is strange. It can ignore physical attacks. Don't get too close."

A dozen Anbu broke off from the Nine-Tails battle and rushed to stop Obito.

However, in his Grudge Soul state, Obito, relying on his ability to ignore physical attacks, slaughtered the Anbu and ninjas who tried to interfere.

Ordinary ninjas—or more accurately, the regular ninja system—couldn't deal with an enemy like Obito, who was like a ghost. No matter the jutsu, taijutsu, or genjutsu, nothing worked on him. All attacks simply passed through him.

Even worse, someone who was once a comrade could suddenly turn into an enemy the next second.

Obito frequently possessed the body of an Anbu and then struck suddenly, killing those around him. Within half a minute, dozens of Anbu had been slaughtered.

This scene weighed heavily on Sarutobi Hiruzen's mind, making him increasingly anxious.

"Next, it's your turn!"

The Wraith Obito locked onto Hiruzen Sarutobi, grinning viciously as he charged forward.

But in the next moment, a yellow light flashed.

Boom—!!!

The massive force sent the vengeful Obito flying, crashing hard into the ruins.

What's going on?!

Obito, knocked back, was filled with confusion.

He was in his Wraith form, so there was no way he should have been hit. But he definitely just got struck. What was happening?

His malicious gaze turned toward the source, and the person who had come to assist was none other than Minato Namikaze. A cold laugh escaped his lips as he said, "Heh, isn't this my sensei? Instead of taking care of his dying wife, he's here causing trouble. Truly a hypocrite, always talking about love, yet more concerned with others, isn't he?"

"Shut up."

Minato's voice was hoarse, as if barely containing immense rage.

He suddenly looked up, orange eyeshadow appearing on his eyelids. His aura shifted drastically, as if he was now connected to the very world itself.

"Obito, you don't understand what love really is. You're just a beast, venting your desires and anger, without any sense of responsibility!"
