Chapter 38: 38. You’ll make ‘Tobirama Senju proud.
Same time at other side of the uchiha clan,
Minato dodged a barrage of kunai aimed at his throat, flickering from one spot to another in an instant. Nearby, Jiraiya deflected a series of wind-enhanced attacks, his hair extending like a shield to guard against oncoming projectiles.
The battlefield was chaos, with Uchiha rebels launching coordinated strikes, trying to overpower the combined forces of the Hokage and his allies.
In the middle of the fray, Danzo and Hiruzen stood side by side,
Hiruzen raised his voice, "Danzo," he said, his tone cold but commanding. "It's time."
Danzo didn't respond with words but nodded curtly. Without warning, the two turned on their supposed allies, the Uchiha rebels.
Minato, momentarily stunned, halted his attack on Hiruzen. "What are you—?"
Before he could finish, Hiruzen's staff expanded and warped in his hands, transforming into a massive, double-bladed weapon.
It resembled a weapon of destruction from a myth, its edges gleaming ominously in the moonlight.
With a single swing, Hiruzen became a whirlwind of destruction. He spun the weapon with unnatural speed, the blades tearing through the rebels like a hurricane of death.
Limbs and guts flew into the air, and the cries of the Uchiha rebels were drowned out by the deafening hum of the weapon cutting through the air.
When Hiruzen stopped his blade, his body was soaking in blood, red msit coverd whole area.
Other side, Danzo, calmly reached into his cloak and pulled out a set of small, circular discs. He tossed them into the largest cluster of Uchiha rebels.
The discs hissed as they landed, releasing a green, noxious gas that spread rapidly. The rebels coughed blood and staggered, clutching at their throats as the poison overwhelmed them. In a matter of seconds, they bleed from every pore of their body—as an entire group of Uchiha collapsed lifelessly.
All of this was over in moments. The battlefield was littered with the bodies of the Uchiha rebels, their rebellion is over in an instant.
Minato's fists clenched, "What are you doing?" he demanded. "These were your allies—"
But before he could finish his words both dissapperd…
…
"Do you see, Itachi? This is the pinnacle of evolution. You cannot stop me."
Itachi said nothing, merely pulling a small scroll from his sleeve with his trumbling hands. With a flick of his wrist, he unraveled it, revealing a carefully drawn seal.
He slammed the scroll onto the ground, and the intricate designs come life with a vibrant blue light.
"Reverse Entropy," Itachi murmured.
The glowing seal expanded into a sphere of energy, encompassing a two-meter radius around Orochimaru.
The monstrous figure screamed as his body began to shift and twist unnaturally. The grotesque appendages and extra Sharingan embedded across his body dissapperd, his form shrinked back to human.
Itachi didn't give orochimaru any chance to react, he moved with precision, his odachi flashing through the air as he slammed it into Orochimaru's chest, pinning him to the wall. Orochimaru let out a gasp, his snake-like eyes filled with terror.
"You've gone too far," Itachi said. "Your ambition ends here."
As Itachi raised his blade to deliver the killing blow, two figures emerged from the shadows—Danzo and Hiruzen.
They stood on either side of Orochimaru. Both carried swords that gleamed under the moonlight.
Orochimaru's panic turned into something strange—laughter. A wild, maniacal sound that echoed across the courtyard. "Hiruzen… Danzo… you'll make 'Tobirama Senju proud.' I assume you're here to kill this boy," he said, "But I need him alive!"
Danzo's gaze remained locked on Orochimaru as he spoke to Hiruzen. "We only need his brain," Danzo said flatly, his tone as cold as steel.
Orochimaru's laughter faltered, confusion flashing across his face. "What?" he hissed, his eyes darting between them. "I need Itachi alive! Not his brain!"
Hiruzen didn't respond to Orochimaru's pleas. Instead, he tightened his grip on his sword and nodded to Danzo.
"No… NO! I need him alive!" Orochimaru screamed,
Danzo and Hiruzen swung their swords simultaneously. The blades crossed like scissors,
Orochimaru realiz too late that their target wasn't Itachi—it was him.
with a single, brutal motion, Orochimaru's head was severed cleanly from his body. His head flew through the air, blood trailing in a crimson arc, before landing squarely at newcomer's lags.
Tsunade froze, her eyes locking onto Orochimaru's lifeless head as it lay on the ground, blood pooling around it. Her chest heaved, her breaths shallow and rapid. The sight of so much blood—so vivid, so fresh—sent her mind spiraling.
Her legs gave way, and she stumbled backward, clutching her stomach. "Blood…" she muttered, her voice barely audible. "Too much… blood…" Her knees hit the ground as she doubled over, shaking uncontrollably.
Jiraiya rushed to her side, steadying her with firm hands. "Tsunade! Focus on me. It's over. Breathe," he said urgently.
Minato's sharp gaze darted between Tsunade and the fallen Orochimaru. His kunai was already in his hand, his body tense as he scanned the area for any lingering threats. "Hiruzen… Danzo… What was the meaning of this?" Minato asked,
Hiruzen wiped the blood from his blade with a cloth, his face unreadable. "Orochimaru's ambition had to be stopped," he said simply. "He was a threat to the village."
Danzo, ever calculating, added, "His experiments, his corruption… it was only a matter of time before he turned on us all. This was a necessary action."
Jiraiya helped Tsunade to her feet, his expression grim. "And yet, it feels like there's more to this than you're saying, Danzo."
Before any more words could be exchanged, a sharp crack echoed through the air. The ground beneath Orochimaru's decapitated body began to shift, his blood forming strange patterns that seemed to crawl like living things.
Minato's eyes narrowed. "This isn't over."
