Even in the later stages of the story, Trunks, in the future of the Super Universe, had just broken through to become a Super Saiyan 2, with combat power comparable to Super Saiyan Blue. This demonstrated the terrifying changes that occurred when Saiyans and Earthlings combined.

Their potential became extraordinarily high, coupled with a unique burst ability. However, each successive generation seemed weaker, with Goku and others often resolving crises.

The later generations didn't perceive any real threats. While Vegeta trained Trunks diligently, Goku didn't prioritize training as much, nor did he understand how to earn money to improve their lives. Chi-Chi, not wanting Gohan to end up the same way, insisted he continue his education.
