Naruto: My Sign In System Is Too Overpowered

Chapter 15: C14: Scheming Boy Naruto

Naruto grinned, his bright blue eyes locked onto the shy girl in front of him.

Something about Hinata's quiet, gentle nature made him feel at ease.

It was a warm feeling—like the slow blooming of a flower inside his chest.

Maybe it was because, in his past life, relationships had felt so complicated and exhausting.

But Hinata?

Hinata was simple. Honest. Real.

And that made Naruto completely defenseless against her charm.

Hinata lowered her head, her fingers twisting together faster than before.

"U-Um… I-I just got here…" she mumbled, her voice barely above a whisper. "N-Naruto-kun… h-have you eaten breakfast?"

Naruto chuckled. "Yeah, I ate. What about you?"

Hinata nodded quickly. "M-Me too."

"Alright then." Naruto stretched his arms, his grin widening. "Let's start training."

---

There were no flowery words.

No unnecessary conversations.

But as their eyes met, something passed between them.

Sometimes, between a man and a woman, there exists an invisible force.

A magnetic pull.

And under that pull, words aren't always necessary.

Just being near each other was enough.

Naruto and Hinata were in that silent space now.

Every strike, every block, every exchange of fists and palms—it felt right.

They started with jogging, then moved into physical drills, and finally, striking practice on wooden dummies.

Time was short in the mornings, but Naruto made sure Hinata went through a full session.

Not just because he wanted her to get stronger.

But because he liked spending time with her.

---

Hinata wiped the sweat from her forehead, her breathing slightly uneven.

"Naruto-kun… I-I really enjoy training with you… b-but… I should go now…"

Her cheeks reddened.

"I need to meet up with Kurenai-sensei."

Naruto nodded, still smiling. "Yeah, I guess I should head to my team, too."

Then—he moved.

Without thinking.

His hand lifted, brushing across her forehead as he wiped away a drop of sweat.

"Be careful, Hinata." His voice was gentle. "Autumn's coming soon. Don't catch a cold. And drink more hot water, okay?"

Hinata froze.

Her breath hitched.

Her entire body went stiff.

Naruto had just… touched her.

And not just touched—he had wiped her sweat away like it was the most natural thing in the world.

Hinata's mind short-circuited.

"N-Naruto-kun… I-I am willing…"

Her eyes widened, filled with hope, anticipation, and something deeper.

But Naruto just grinned cluelessly, scratching the back of his head.

Inside his mind, however…

'Heh. Nailed it.'

This was one of the secret tricks from the "Ultimate Guide to Picking Up Girls" he had found online in his past life.

Unintentional yet intentional physical contact.

A small, casual gesture.

To break personal space barriers and increase intimacy.

And judging by Hinata's reaction…

'Yup. It worked.'

Naruto barely held back his laughter.

"People always say cheap online tactics don't work, huh? Well, look at this!"

But then—

"…Nani?"

Hinata's expression changed.

For a moment, there had been hope in her eyes.

But then, after hearing "drink more hot water"—

Her excitement died instantly.

The light in her eyes dimmed.

'Drink more hot water?'

That's it?

A tiny frown flickered across her face.

For a second, disappointment crept into her heart.

'Of course… Naruto-kun still doesn't understand girls at all…'

She forced a small smile.

"Y-Yes… Naruto-kun, I'll take care of myself. G-Goodbye."

With that, she turned and ran off.

Naruto watched her go, then wiped his forehead.

"Phew… That went well."

Or so he thought.

---

By the time Naruto arrived at the training grounds east of the Academy, Sakura and Sasuke were already waiting.

This was where Kakashi had told them to meet.

Both of them had taken his warning seriously and showed up early.

Naruto, meanwhile, strolled in casually, hands in his pockets.

"Yo~. Morning."

His mood was too good to be ruined.

Sakura immediately scowled.

"Naruto! You're cutting it close! We have five minutes left!"

Naruto shrugged.

"What's the rush? I'm here, aren't I?"

Then, he smirked.

"And besides… we're still missing someone."

At those words, Sakura and Sasuke paused.

Then, realization hit them.

'…Oh no.'

Their faces twitched.

Because they both remembered exactly what happened yesterday.

Kakashi's chronic lateness.

Naruto, meanwhile, didn't even bother waiting.

He walked past them, found a large flat rock, and laid down.

"Ahh… so comfy."

He stretched his arms, enjoying the morning sun.

Sakura's eye twitched.

"Naruto! You're going too far! You'll get scolded later!"

Naruto lazily waved her off.

"You're not the class rep anymore. Don't nag."

That shut her up.

Sasuke, watching the exchange, shook his head.

Though he didn't say anything, he clearly disagreed with Naruto's attitude.

But—

Two hours later.

At 9 AM, reality hit them hard.

Sakura and Sasuke, who had been standing the whole time, were now slumped on the ground, exhausted.

Kakashi was nowhere in sight.

And Naruto?

Still napping peacefully.

Both of them gritted their teeth.

Damn it… Naruto was right!

###

Just as frustration boiled over, a figure appeared in the distance.

With a casual jump, Kakashi landed in front of them.

He gave a lazy wave.

"Yo. Sorry I'm late. I was helping an old lady cross the road."

"LIAR!!!"

Sakura and Sasuke screamed in unison.

They looked furious.

Like they were about to murder him.

Naruto?

He yawned and stretched.

"Well, at least you finally showed up."

Kakashi chuckled, completely unbothered by their anger.

"Well then…"

He clapped his hands together.

"Let's begin your first mission."

And with that—

Team 7's real journey began.
