[Simulation complete. Calculating results...]

[Choose one reward: Ramen, Hair (self), or Fire Attribute.]

Shimizu observed the reward selection screen.

The encounters were summarized sparsely, but it was clear he had remained safe throughout the simulation without losing any limbs.

"Simulator, I choose Fire Attribute."

With his innate medical talent already establishing him as a rare genius in the field, stacking this attribute could perhaps function like enhancing the meridian system.

[Fire Attribute granted...]

Following the mechanical female voice's disappearance, Shimizu felt a surge of intense heat, as if trapped in a scorching furnace.

Gradually, the unbearable sensation subsided.

A layer of white skin flakes formed on Shimizu's skin. Brushing them off, his arms appeared smoother and more radiant than ever—soft and supple like a baby's, his skin was alabaster yet tinged with a healthy red glow, resembling jade rather than Orochimaru's sickly pallor.

"A latent effect similar to Scorch Release?"

The thought crossed Shimizu's mind.

The Scorch Release bloodline enables its user to withstand and harness extreme heat—a fundamental alteration at the DNA level. Natural elemental attributes similarly reside in one's DNA.

Take the Uchiha Clan, whose fan-shaped crest symbolizes their innate mastery over fire. The clan's blood grants them greater affinity for controlling flames than ordinary people.

Shimizu had now elevated this potential to an unprecedented level.

Whoosh!

A tiny flame emerged from Shimizu's index finger, flickering with vitality.

When he converted his neutral chakra entirely into Fire Release chakra and concentrated it in his palm, flames spontaneously enveloped his hand, radiating searing heat.

The intense heat distorted the surrounding air as white steam rose from his skin.

Shimizu, deep in thought, examined the reddish palm before spreading his hand open.

The following day at the Hokage's office.

Hiruzen Sarutobi handed a mission scroll to Minato Namikaze.

"Minato, the Land of Demons has been unstable recently and has requested aid from Konoha. You'll be leading this mission. It's a B-rank assignment."

"The Land of Demons? The one with priestesses?"

"Correct," Hiruzen confirmed, recounting the land's history. "They house a demon called Moryo, sealed by successive priestesses. A rebellion is underway, threatening the priestess. If anything happens to her, Moryo's release would spell disaster."

"I understand. I'll ensure the mission is successful," Minato assured him.

Although unaware of Moryo's full strength, Minato knew it was a formidable foe that must remain sealed.

"Thank you for your efforts," Hiruzen said with formal pleasantries before adding, "Take your squad along this time. It will be good training for them. The village's situation is becoming more unpredictable. Their swift growth would benefit us all."

"Understood, Lord Third," Minato responded respectfully, accepting the mission scroll.

This seemed like a relatively simple task, with a B-rank difficulty level easily manageable for someone of Minato's caliber.

The squad included two Chunin and one Genin.

Rin Nohara, unlike Shimizu, was purely a medical ninja, making her weaker in combat—a reasonable limitation.

With this lineup, the mission's success was almost guaranteed.
