Chapter 171: Ghosts Getting Stronger?

In Konoha Village, Naruto and Sasuke were finally discharged from the hospital.

Although Sasuke's powers had been stripped away, he could still use his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan!

After all, whenever he came to this area, strange incidents would occur. If not for his strength, he might have died mysteriously long ago.

Hearing Kimimaro's words, Ishihara paused and thought for a moment. That did seem plausible.

After all, the Hidden Mist Village hadn't experienced any ghost incidents while he was there.

Now that he had left, it made sense that ghosts might avoid him.

Without hesitation, he summoned a Zanpakutō in his hand.

When the Shinigami attire appeared on Ishihara, everything around him became clear.

In front of him stood a ghost holding a blade. Ishihara paused for a moment.

At that moment, the ghost lunged toward Ishihara.

"Whatever it is, just kill it!" Ishihara laughed as the ghost swung its blade at him.

A crisp sound echoed as the blade struck Ishihara but couldn't cut any further.

The ghost was stunned. What was going on? Why didn't this guy react at all when struck?

Other people either got sliced through or showed some reaction, but this one blocked the attack completely, emerging unscathed.

As Ishihara's lips curled into a smirk, the ghost grew even more terrified.
