Hanzō, who had successfully launched his attack, quickly formed a new set of seals and unleashed a deadly follow-up technique aimed at Uchiha Shin, who remained motionless.
At that exact moment, Uchiha Shin, having just completed his hand-drawn portrait, abruptly lifted his head.
"Fire Release: Great Dragon Flame!"
Clapping his hands together, Uchiha Shin compressed a vast amount of chakra within his body, condensing it before expelling it from his mouth.

The intense heat vaporized the lingering poisonous mist in the atmosphere. Under Uchiha Shin's precise control, the flaming dragon suddenly split into five ferocious fire dragons.

However, his summoned salamander was not as fortunate. The four remaining fire dragons slammed into the massive creature, detonating upon impact.
The force of the explosion hurled it hundreds of meters away, the extreme heat searing its thick, armored hide and tearing flesh from bone. The acrid scent of burnt flesh filled the battlefield. Though gravely injured, the salamander's durability kept it from being completely incapacitated.
Seeing that Hanzō had been forced into retreat, Jiraiya and Orochimaru immediately capitalized on the opening.
"Earth Release: Swamp of the Underworld!"
Orochimaru slammed both palms against the ground, instantly turning the area beneath the salamander into a deep, viscous swamp.
Jiraiya, understanding his comrade's intention, inhaled deeply before releasing a potent mixture of oil-infused chakra from his mouth.
"Fire Release: Flame Bullet!"
A massive fireball shot toward the struggling salamander, fueled by the flammable oil. Though it lacked the sheer destructive force of Uchiha Shin's earlier attack, it was still lethal.
"Water Release: Water Wall!"
Hanzō, ever the master of water techniques, swiftly erected a towering wall of water to intercept the incoming flames.
He broke free from the swamp and rushed toward Jiraiya and Orochimaru, wielding his infamous chain sickle, its razor edges coated with deadly poison.
While the three clashed, Tsunade bit her thumb and slammed her palm to the ground.
"Summoning Jutsu: Katsuyu!"
A giant slug from the Shikkotsu Forest materialized in a burst of smoke.
Understanding Tsunade's unspoken command, Katsuyu immediately divided into smaller clones, slithering across the battlefield to retrieve the poisoned victims, dragging them to safety for treatment.
Tsunade hurried to Uchiha Shin, her face filled with concern. "Are you hurt?!"
Uchiha Shin, who had momentarily faltered, quickly regained his composure.
"No, just a temporary breathing issue. I'm fine."
He nodded slightly, eyes fixed on Hanzō, who had regained the upper hand against Jiraiya and Orochimaru. The remaining Ame-nin under Hanzō's command were nearing their limits, their vitality and chakra being steadily drained by Shin's earlier sand-iron assault.
As their bodies crumbled, their remnants merged into Uchiha Shin's being. Though this couldn't replenish the enormous chakra expenditure from his failed attempt at deducing Dust Release, it was enough to sustain him in battle.
During his confrontation with Hanzō, Uchiha Shin made a surprising realization.
"So this is the infamous Hanzō... Without his poison, he wouldn't be nearly as formidable."
If one ignored the toxic mists, Hanzō was strong—but not an insurmountable threat at the Kage level.
However, for Jiraiya and Orochimaru, who had only recently reached Kage level, Hanzō remained a terrifying enemy!
"Lion Mane Jutsu!"
Jiraiya channeled his chakra into his hair, extending and hardening it into a lion-headed mass, attempting to ensnare Hanzō.
Yet, before his attack could land, Hanzō's chain sickle flashed through the air, effortlessly severing the elongated strands.

Predicting Jiraiya's attack route, Hanzō's sickle found its mark, neatly cutting through the hair before it could wrap around him.
Seeing his technique fail, Jiraiya immediately leaped back.
Orochimaru met his gaze, and the two executed their summoning jutsus simultaneously.
"Summoning Jutsu: Gamabunta!"
"Summoning Jutsu: Manda!"
With two bursts of smoke, the giant red toad wielding a massive tanto and the colossal purple serpent slithered onto the battlefield.
Tsunade and Uchiha Shin rejoined the fight at that moment.
Faced with an all-out assault from all sides, Hanzō sneered behind his gas mask.
"If that's all you have, then try and kill me!"
His summon, Ibuse, had been quietly biding its time. Now, its bloated cheeks signaled that it was ready.
After five minutes of building up toxins, the massive salamander released its devastating poison fog once again.
From its gaping maw, a nearly liquefied purple miasma surged outward, engulfing the battlefield!
Uchiha Shin reacted instantly, yanking Tsunade toward him before vanishing using "Soru," reappearing dozens of meters away.
Jiraiya and Orochimaru, however, were not as quick.

The dense, deadly poison engulfed them head-on.
Having consumed experimental antidote pills beforehand, they survived the exposure, but their strength rapidly deteriorated.
Gamabunta and Manda, however, were not so lucky.
The overwhelming toxicity took immediate effect, bringing them both crashing down.
The two giant summons, now paralyzed, glared at their summoners with pure betrayal.
"You summoned us just to get poisoned?!" their eyes screamed.
"Get them to Katsuyu! Only she can heal them!"
Jiraiya and Orochimaru, while retreating, shouted their desperate plea to Tsunade.
They hadn't expected Hanzō to have another poison attack prepared.
Tsunade scoffed. "You two are too reckless. My student reacts faster than both of you!"
Jiraiya and Orochimaru hesitated to argue. Tsunade had been saved only because of Uchiha Shin's quick thinking, after all.
Uchiha Shin, eyes locked onto the darkening storm clouds above, unsheathed his katana.
"I'll hold him off. Recover as fast as you can!"
Without another word, he vanished, his sheer speed leaving even his allies momentarily stunned.
