Naruto: All Genders are reversed except for me

Chapter 54: Chapter 54: This Unlucky Kid

At this moment, Naruto was still deep in sleep.

Sasuke's sudden loud shout jerked him out of his sweet dreams.

However, what confused Naruto was that, usually, sleeping until after school would leave him feeling refreshed. Yet today, he found the classroom empty and still felt like he hadn't slept enough.

Groggily opening his eyes, Naruto saw Sasuke's exquisite face, which wore a mischievous smile, looking at him with ill intent.

"What are you staring at? School's over, hurry up and eat."

Seeing that the classroom was completely empty, Naruto grabbed Sasuke's hand and rushed toward the door.

"Naruto, let go! It's embarrassing if someone sees us!" Sasuke tried to pull away.

"Shut up, today I'm making you braised pork and spicy chicken," Naruto said, adding, "Consider it paying back the favor for washing my clothes."

"Hmph, at least you know what's good for you."

When Sasuke heard Naruto mention spicy chicken, his mind immediately became filled with thoughts of the dish, and he completely forgot that it was still only the third class of the day, not yet the end of school.

However, by the time Sasuke snapped back to reality, the two of them were already back at Naruto's house, carrying bags of ingredients.

After putting down the bags, Sasuke finally regained his senses.

"Ah… this…"

Seeing Sasuke's shocked expression, Naruto continued cleaning the kitchen tools and asked, "What's with the big fuss?"

"Well, it seems like we left right after the third class," Sasuke said, trying to make sense of the situation.

Naruto, confused, replied, "What? I think I've gone deaf, I can't hear a word you're saying."

Sasuke shrugged. "Same here."

They exchanged a knowing smile, and neither of them pushed the matter further.

"By the way, Naruto, why did you buy so many ingredients all of a sudden?" Sasuke, ever thoughtful, started organizing the various items in the fridge.

"Well, do you want the real reason or the fake one?"

Sasuke furrowed his brows and turned toward him. "What do you mean by fake reason?"

"The fake reason is that I wanted to get closer to you by cooking for you, conquer your stomach first, then your heart, and then…" Naruto dragged out the last part.

"Then what? Say it!" Sasuke, who couldn't stand Naruto's half-finished sentences, urged impatiently.

"Then… do you need to ask?" Naruto didn't finish his sentence, but lifted the pot he was holding, placing it over his own head as if preparing for some sort of impending attack. "Then, I'll just... hit on you, hahaha!"

Sasuke, clearly unprepared for this, momentarily forgot to get angry. She first stepped back awkwardly, then flicked her pigtails, and finally glared at him, her fingers curling as if she were ready to give him a full body massage.

"Oh, so everything here was part of your plan?" Sasuke was already at the kitchen door, her voice calm and without emotion, though anyone could tell that she was on the verge of a meltdown.

Had Naruto not quickly clarified that this was all just a joke, Sasuke probably would have already given him a good "adjustment" to his bones.

Still, Sasuke's delicate face had turned an even deeper shade of red.

"Hmph, what about the real reason?"

Hearing her question, Naruto, completely carefree, blurted out, "The real reason is… after I hit on you, I'll make you wash my clothes for the rest of your life, hahahaha…" He spoke without a second thought.

Sure enough, as soon as he finished speaking, Sasuke started walking toward him, step by step.

"Naruto, don't move, there's a big spider about to land on your head."

Sasuke, her clear eyes fixed on Naruto's head, looked unusually serious, and she even grabbed a broom from the hallway.

Naruto froze, unsure whether this was some prank or if it was real, and he stood still, too afraid to move.

"Really, Sasuke? What color is it? Is it poisonous?"

The moment he finished speaking, Sasuke's expression changed, and she suddenly lunged, swiping the broom three times at Naruto's head.

"A spider? What color? I'll tell you straight up, it was yellow! Damn spider, trying to mess things up. Watch me beat you to death!!!"

Slap slap slap…

"Ah… Sasuke, you're taking personal revenge!" Naruto, stunned by the unexpected attack, immediately surrendered.

"Don't move, the one I just killed was a female spider, and now there are lots of little spiders crawling out of her belly. Don't worry, I'll help you kill them all!" Sasuke said, her face set in determination.

If not for the pain on his head constantly reminding him, Naruto might have actually believed it. Just look at Sasuke's expression, her eyes, her actions—Oscar should give her a little golden statue!

Naruto, startled, quickly cowered and pleaded, "Sis, I'm sorry, I won't do it again, please!"

"That's not good enough! You're my only friend, and as your only friend, how can I let you be harmed by toxic spiders? I must destroy them!" Sasuke had evidently taken both new and old grudges out on him.

Slap slap slap…

"Ah ah ah ah… Sasuke, actually, I was lying to you. The real reason I bought so many ingredients was to try making a new dish for you to taste, and then maybe display it at Yile Restaurant. You're so 'small' that even if I'm crazy, I could never hit on you, right?"

"Small?" Sasuke froze in place, then lowered her gaze to her feet.

If Naruto hadn't clarified, Sasuke's anger would have dissipated by now, but who would have thought that he'd pour even more fuel onto the fire?

"What do you mean by small? Explain yourself!!"

"Ah ah ah… not small, not small! You could say you're... five big and three rough!"

Bang bang bang…

"Ahh! Sasuke, are you trying to kill me? I've been nice to you, what more do you want?"

Three minutes later.

Sasuke walked out of the kitchen with a look of satisfaction, gracefully continuing to organize the ingredients in the fridge.

The kitchen, on the other hand, was in utter chaos. On the wooden floor, an especially conspicuous yellow-haired boy lay unconscious, his face unrecognizable even to his own mother. What an unlucky kid.

"Naruto, how about we just eat out?"

"No, today we're eating spicy chicken," Sasuke, having neatly arranged the ingredients, noticed Naruto still playing dead on the floor and said, "Wow, don't move, there's another spider about to land on your head."

"Stop! I'll cook!"

Sasuke smiled. "Oh, I see, it wasn't a spider after all, it was just your little tuft of yellow hair."

Naruto grumbled, "I seriously suspect you were mistaken before as well."

Sasuke slammed the table with a fierce expression. "You doubt my Uchiha family's Sharingan abilities?"

"Uh... Did you just drag me into the whole Uchiha clan rivalry?" Naruto was nearly in tears.
