Chapter 2: Got Reincarnated into a Horrible Novel
"His eyes...What? How could it be impossible? Aren't we the last survivors of our bloodline? Where the hell did this boy come from?"
"Huh? So this what we call fate, and God's plan."
"Well, Well, Well, fuck it, Dareth, I know you are the most mature man from us and know how to hold a responsibility; I hope you take care of this boy and make him one of us. Well, we are leaving to prepare for the war." The old man saying this stood up and walked away with others.
Arvian slowly gained consciousness again and opened his eyes.
'What..happened?' Arvian, still unaware of the things, recalled what happened in the world moments before he was in his room.
"What is your name, Young Boy." The man in front of Arvian is sitting on a large stone, his left arm resting on his knee and his left hand in the air.
His long black hair was falling on his face and was bandied with rubber from the back side of his head. Suddenly, a wind came, exposing the face of the man; his tired black eyes were directly staring at Arvian. His face was attractive with a sharp jawline.
Arvian glanced around, observing his surroundings carefully. The cave was vast, its walls jagged and uneven.
Multiple narrow paths branched from the right side, creating a labyrinth-like environment.
Scattered stones covered the ground, and there was no sign of natural light anywhere. However, his eyes caught a faint glow—a thick wooden stick burning steadily, propped up against a cluster of stones, casting flickering shadows across the cave.
'Who is this man and where am I...wait...Did I reincarnate? Amazing.'
Arvian mind raced.
Today, Arvian's wish came true. The thing he had imagined after reading novels finally happened: creating fake scenarios of magic, monsters, demons, and villains.
He always wanted something to suddenly happen, and for him to get reincarnated into a fantasy world.
"It..It's Arvian." Arvian responded with a bunch of excitement and thought in his heart.
"Oh, Arvian, unique name; well, I'm Dareth Vaelric."
'Dang, what Da—Dareth Vaelric..my favourite character...wait, I remember; I am reincarnated in Reverberations novel...Holy Smokes!.. I'm fucked, I'm reincarnated into the most horrible novel—Dark Reverberations—I'm gonna die...nah...everyone will die..except the main character, And This man he—he is a member of the villain's organisation—velnoctene...' Arvian thought.

As Arvian was an avid reader, he picked up a novel called "Dark Reverberations." In this story, everyone dies except for the main character and a few of his friends.
Despite the bleakness of the plot, the novel became a bestseller and was poorly received in terms of its themes. However, many readers still liked it and supported the author and Arvian was one of them.
According to Arvian remembrance, the novel's world was a world where demons and humans fought against celestial reapers.
There were terrifying beings with various bloodlines, and the most horrific aspect was that the protagonist was bound by both demons and celestial beasts. As a result, he became the most sought-after person in the world.
He was the key to the villains' desires, being part demon, part celestial reaper, and part human. This unique composition made him essential to a path where dreams and reality meet.
The main character of the novel is the one who manipulated these 7 men and killed them; he never stops growing stronger in the novel.
In the novel, there were a lot of bloodlines and one of the most hated and weak bloodlines was Velnoctenes but everything changed when one older man discovered a hidden secret power of bloodline—Nyxian form—it was the type of a power form which makes the user emotionless during the form—in simple words, it was a monstrous form.
So when in the bloodline everyone learned this, they misused it and started playing with people,e which turned into a war.
The world turned against the bloodline, and the first horrible world war took place. But somehow, the Bloodline won, but many innocent lives were lost.
The last seven members of the bloodline, having lost their loved ones, sought revenge against the world.
Their thirst for power drove them to slaughter their own people, believing it was the only way to attain strength and achieve retribution.

"Arvian, I want you to join us as we know how you can awaken the power that resides in you, and you will live longer with us as there is a big war going to happen, in which the surviving chances from you are in negative," Dareth uttered with a confident expression.
"And as you are a Velnoctenes, you will be killed without hesitation, people will see you as a threat to the world. So it will be better for you to join us or either waste your life and get killed by the people." Dareth continued.
'W-Wait, Velnoctenes? I got reincarnated with Velnoctenes' blood? Fuck it... but... Dareth? Ah, this is insane. Impressive, impressive, impressive. It's real—I'm actually facing my favourite character. And not just that—I'm going to fight alongside him. Wow.' Arvian thought, his mind racing with disbelief and excitement
"Y-yeah I'm in..."
You might be wondering why can he be calm in this situation.
Well, why can't he? For him, this wasn't something to worry about or start yapping about; it wasn't a cell —it was freedom.
There was no one left to miss, no one waiting for him. His parents were dead already, and the world he lived in had only ever shown him cruelty.
Alone for as long as he could remember, he had stopped hoping for the ordinary. What he wanted was the impossible, and now, it was here.
"However, to awaken the Velnoctene's power—the Nyxian form within you—you must first face a horrible trial and face monsters unlike any you've ever imagined. This trial will also reveal the type of Nyxian you possess."
Dareth's piercing gaze locked onto Arvian. "Well, are you ready for that, Arvian?"
'I don't even know any magic spells in this world, nor do I have a System to rely on. And knowing the author of this novel, I doubt I'll ever get one—he hated systems with a passion. But I'm confident. From all my reading experience, I know I can outsmart any monster strategically,' Arvian thought.
"Yeah, I'm ready for the trial."
Dareth didn't expect that Arvian would be this confident. Dareth took Arvian with him deeper into the cave.
All of a sudden, a screen flickered in mid-air, surprising Arvian.
[Ding!]
