Chapter 151: Take it. I’m feeling generous
Feng Fan noticed Qian Xiaoli and Huang Xue approaching but paid them no mind. He had more pressing matters to handle.
'Qi stones!' The thought lit up his eyes as he focused on the space rings of the defeated Blue Dragon Sect disciples.
Without wasting another moment, he darted into action, snatching as much loot as he could before the disciples were teleported out of the pocket dimension. Unfortunately, he only managed to claim about half, and to his disappointment, these disciples weren't particularly wealthy compared to him.
'Still, even a mosquito bite is better than nothing,' Feng Fan mused.
As the disciples vanished, their orb dropped to the ground. Feng Fan casually picked it up, only to find Qian Xiaoli already reaching for it as well. She shamelessly took half without even asking.
Huang Xue's eyebrow twitched at the sight. It was clear that Qian Xiaoli was helping herself to the spoils of a fight she hadn't even been part of, but Huang Xue chose to remain silent, though her irritation was evident.

Qian Xiaoli noticed Huang Xue's irritated expression and smirked smugly. "What's wrong? Jealous that Fan'er is giving me the orbs and not you? Don't be like that," she said, her tone dripping with mockery.
"Here, you can have this one."
With a provocative flick, Qian Xiaoli tossed a red orb onto the ground at Huang Xue's feet, a trophy from Feng Fan's spoils. "Take it. I'm feeling generous."
Huang Xue narrowed her eyes, locking her gaze on Qian Xiaoli for a moment, her expression cold.
Feng Fan, observing the interaction, felt a wave of confusion wash over him. 'Wasn't Xiao'er supposed to be a composed and elegant woman? Why is she suddenly acting like some petty villain toward Huang Xue?'
He sighed to himself, shaking his head in disappointment. 'I don't get it. Why is a gentleman like me constantly surrounded by troublesome women?'
What Feng Fan didn't realize was that Qian Xiaoli had already noticed Huang Xue's feelings for him. While she had agreed to share him with Xue Qiang, that didn't mean she was willing to let a fourth person join the mix.
"Feng Fan," Huang Xue said, looking at him and ignoring Qian Xiaoli's remarks. "We've reached the indigo area, but should we start heading toward the white orb now? It shouldn't be too far from here."
Feng Fan shook his head at her suggestion. "No, we'll hold off on moving toward the center for now. When there are six days left in the competition, we'll make our way to the white orb and wait for the others. Did you manage to grab the indigo orb?"
Huang Xue nodded. "It's in my wristband."
"Good," Feng Fan replied with a smirk. "Let's stick around this area and collect as many orbs as we can. Then, we'll use the indigo orb to lure in some fish."
An evil grin spread across his face, making Huang Xue blink in confusion. "Catch fish? What do you mean?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Feng Fan said with a chuckle. "Indigo orbs are the best bait in this place. We'll leave it somewhere visible, and before long, all the fish will come swarming toward it."
—
As Feng Fan and the others continued gathering orbs, Xue Qiang was busy as well. She had already reached the indigo area, just like them.
"Hellfire Thrust!"
Xue Qiang's spear, surrounded by flames, shot forward, piercing the head of a snake. But this wasn't just any snake—it was a low tier 3 demon beast!
After dealing with the creature, Xue Qiang quickly moved to the indigo orb it had been guarding and placed it into her wristband. Just as she was about to head in another direction, a voice called out to her.
"Oh, if it isn't a disciple from the White Crow Sect. What a beautiful lady!"
A man with a very ugly face grinned, his robe bearing the symbol of a lion with angelic wings. Two more men stood beside him, all wearing the same robes.
They were from the Winged-Lion Sect, another top sect from the Qian Empire.
"Lady, I've taken a liking to you. Hand over all your orbs, and I won't kill you. Once this is over, I'll take you to my place," the ugly man said, sounding like a third-rate villain.
The three men knew that Xue Qiang was a 2nd Golden Core Formation cultivator, but they weren't intimidated. The ugly man was also a Golden Core Formation cultivator, though at the 1st stage.
Their confidence came from the fact that the Winged-Lion Sect had superior cultivation techniques compared to the White Crow Sect. They also believed Xue Qiang must be tired from fighting the demon beast.
Of course, they had just arrived and hadn't witnessed the battle. If they had, they wouldn't have dared to show their ugly faces.
"Senior Brother, how could you keep such a beautiful girl all to yourself? Aren't you going to share her with us?" Another man said. He was slightly more handsome than the first and a 9th Foundation Establishment cultivator.
The ugly senior brother chuckled loudly. "Sorry, brothers, but a beautiful lady like her is meant to be enjoyed by me alone!"
Xue Qiang's patience wore thin as she listened to their crude remarks. Furious, she decided she had enough and hurled her spear at the ugly man.
"Phoenix Descent!" A massive phoenix materialized behind her as flames engulfed her spear, propelling it toward the man with deadly force.
Realizing the strength of the attack, the ugly man's face changed. He quickly summoned a warhammer from his space ring and prepared to strike back.
"Lion Divine Strike!" He roared, summoning a brilliant lion that appeared behind him, just as he swung his hammer to intercept Xue Qiang's spear.
The spear and warhammer collided with a deafening crash, forcing the two men beside the ugly senior brother to jump aside.
But it wasn't just them—the ugly man himself couldn't handle the blow!
He was sent flying backward, crashing to the ground like a ragdoll.
The other two men watched in shock as their senior brother lay unconscious, and their gaze turned to Xue Qiang with a mixture of fear and disbelief.
