My System Arrives 3 Years Earlier, But the Deities Haven't Come Yet

Chapter 182: Chapter 182: Idiot, Why Are You Barking So Loudly?

[Congratulations, Host! Under the coercion of your pet Yang Liu Liu, 205 Satyrian Sheep have decided to follow you and worship you as their sole deity. General Believers +205, Survival Points +2050, Faith +2050.]

"Wow, so many!" Zeng Shen was momentarily stunned by the notification, but a delighted smile soon spread across his face.

He hadn't expected that out of a thousand sheep, over two hundred would survive to become the intelligent Satyrian race in three years.

"This survival ratio is the highest I've encountered among intelligent species," Zeng Shen thought, but quickly he understood why. The Satyrian species, praised for being excellent assassins and single-unit soldiers, likely have innate survival and evasion talents.

With a brief analysis of the Satyrian race, Zeng Shen focused his mind, opening the Gate to the Divine Realm at the border between the Funiu Plains and the forest. He instructed Yang Liu Liu, "Have the sheep that emitted light just now enter the white gate."

"Baa," Yang Liu Liu nodded, bleating at the flock.

Immediately, the 204 Big Trouble Mountain Sheep that had become Zeng Shen's followers, led by the former head sheep, rushed into the gate.

Wasting no time, Zeng Shen turned to the remaining 800 sheep, casting taming spells repeatedly.

Ten minutes later, Zeng Shen was left with 20 Big Trouble Mountain Sheep destined to become Silver-Horned Gold-Wool Sheep. He felt a bit at a loss.

Usually, exotic beasts outnumber intelligent species, but with the Big Trouble Mountain Sheep, it was the opposite. However, recalling the species' analysis, Zeng Shen understood why. The Silver-Horned Gold-Wool Sheep, despite being a resourceful exotic beast, lacked self-protection capabilities, making them rare and eventually extinct.

"Yang Liu Liu, lead these 20 chosen sheep into the Divine Realm to rest," Zeng Shen commanded.

Yang Liu Liu bleated and led the 20 sheep through the gate to join the 205 others.

After closing the gate, Zeng Shen moved to the seventh sheep pen.

In this pen, the flock, led by a head sheep he named Yang Qi Qi, also pledged their loyalty and followership.

Quickly, Zeng Shen gathered another 200 Satyrians and 23 Silver-Horned Gold-Wool Sheep. He opened the gate again, leading Yang Qi Qi and the future intelligent and exotic species sheep into the Divine Realm with Yang Liu Liu.

By around 10 PM, Zeng Shen had transferred 4,000 Satyrians and 400 Silver-Horned Gold-Wool Sheep from 19 pens into his Divine Realm.

"Such a rewarding harvest," Zeng Shen mused. "Not only have I gained so many Satyrians and Silver-Horned Gold-Wool Sheep, but I've also earned over 40,000 survival points."

Satisfied, Zeng Shen flew toward the nearby pastoral houses.

These houses, complete with courtyards, were home to shepherd families. Nearby, a 40-square-meter dog house accommodated the shepherd dogs.

Approaching the first dog house, Zeng Shen heard the excited barking of Nima, his tamed pet.

Nima's barking triggered a chorus of excited barks from the other tamed shepherd dogs in the vicinity.

"Idiot, why are you barking so loudly?" Zeng Shen scolded Nima, quickly entering stealth mode.

Sure enough, the sudden barking roused the shepherds, who turned on lights or peeked out windows to see what was happening in the dog yards.

Some bolder shepherds armed themselves and ventured out to investigate.

After watching for a while and seeing nothing amiss, the shepherds returned indoors, reassured.

Once the area calmed down, Zeng Shen revealed himself and approached Nima.

Nima tried to bark joyfully at Zeng Shen, who quickly hushed it. "Quiet, dumb dog. Do you want to wake everyone up?"

"Whimper," Nima whimpered, looking pitifully at Zeng Shen.

Feeling a bit soft-hearted, Zeng Shen patted Nima's head, speaking gently. "It's okay. I wasn't really mad. Now, let's get to work. Have your sisters become my followers and worship me as their only deity."

"Woof," Nima barked softly, turning to the seven other shepherd dogs in the house and growling commandingly.

Reluctantly, the seven dogs approached Zeng Shen, lowering their heads slightly but not emitting the white light of faith.

Zeng Shen was at a loss. These dogs were merely pretending to be obedient.

He sighed, realizing these dogs were more challenging than the simple-minded sheep.

Just then, a slender figure appeared behind him, exclaiming, "Who are you, and what are you doing here?"

Turning, Zeng Shen saw Lar Di, tense and holding a gun, eyes fixed on him.

The seven dogs, who had feigned submission, immediately ran joyfully to Lar Di, barking affectionately.

In that instant, Zeng Shen's eyes lit up. He had figured out how to make the shepherd dogs follow and believe in him!
