MY STEP-MOTHER IS A BEAUTIFUL KYUUBI

The Xia Clan was the most wealthy clan in Floating Cloud City. The clan has specialized in business for generations.

Today was the day of the most important. It was the day that Dongyue, the wife of the Xia Clan's patriarch, was going to give birth to an heir to continue the family legacy.

The entire clan was eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new member, who would carry on their prosperous lineage.

The atmosphere in the clan was filled with anticipation and excitement as everyone eagerly awaited the arrival of the newest member of the Xia family.

The birth of the heir would secure the clan's future and ensure their continued success in business for generations to come.

Xiao Ying had brought Naruto with him to visit Xia Hongyi, the patriarch of the Xia Clan.

And when they arrived at the Xia Clan, they heard a commotion, which should be a normal thing because there was someone important inside the clan giving birth. 

It should be a good thing if it was filled with happiness, but what they had seen and heard from the commotion was the servants' faces and voices filled with concern and worry.

"What happened?"

Xiao Ying asked a servant who was very busy with something.

The servant was about to dismiss him, but when he saw who Xiao Ying was, he quickly greeted him and told him what happened.

"Madam has given birth to a baby girl. However, there is something wrong with the baby. She doesn't cry and doesn't breathe. Now, the Lord has invited the best doctor over, but he couldn't do anything as it isn't clear what is wrong with the baby."

Xiao Ying's heart sank at the news, realizing the seriousness of the situation. He couldn't believe it after his son was born safely. His friend's daughter would be facing such a tragic start to life.

"Bring me to them, I might be able to do something."

Even though Xiao Ying wasn't a doctor, he was a cultivator with a lot of experience. He might be able to do something that the doctor couldn't.

"Please come this way, sir!"

The servant led both Xiao Ying and Naruto toward where Dongyue had given birth to the baby girl. When both of them arrived, they saw Xia Hongyi and Dongyue's tearful faces.

Xiao Ying went straight toward them.

"Xiao Ying…"

Xia Hongyi recognized him at a glance. After all, he was his best friend, but he couldn't bring himself to smile at or greet him. The loss was too heavy for him.

"The baby?"

"She—she is gone. We can't do anything to save her."

Xia Hongyi was like a broken man. He couldn't help his daughter, and his wife was now grieving the loss of their child. Xiao Ying embraced him, offering his silent support in their time of need.

Naruto looked at the pale-faced baby. He saw something strange with the baby. He looked around, but no one could see it.

'Why is the baby glowing blue, but the blue light is dimmer and dimmer?'

Naruto looked toward Xiao Ying. He couldn't see the blue light that came out of the baby as well. 

Naruto felt that the blue light must be important to the baby. He didn't want the blue light to vanish. He then did something to try to keep it alive.

He also had this blue light energy inside of him. However, he didn't know what it was. He only knew that it gave him the feeling that he was at home.

He grabbed the baby hand and slowly pushed the blue light energy inside her. Even though this blue light energy wasn't as strong as profound energy, it was much less violent and easier to control.

"What are you doing, Na'er? You shouldn't touch—"

Xiao Ying was about to stop Naruto from doing something he shouldn't. But Dongyue suddenly spoke and cut him off completely. 

She looked at her baby in her arms with eyes full of hope. She could feel that the baby was still with her.

"My—My baby! She's still alive!"

Dongyue then looked at Naruto. She could feel that Naruto was helping her baby right now. She didn't know what he did, but whatever he did made her daughter alive.

They saw that Naruto was helping the baby, so they stayed silent and watched him holding the baby hand.

The baby's face gained color, and her breathing became more stable. And not long after, the baby cried out loud, telling everyone that she had survived.

"I think the baby is safe now—"

Naruto felt really tired. He wanted to tell everyone that the baby was safe, but his nosebleed stopped him from finishing his sentence.

Xiao Ying, Xia Hongyi, and Dongyue were startled and thought that something bad might happen to him. 

Xia Hongyi called the doctor again, and this time the doctor knew that Naruto had just lost a bit of his vitality.

He just needed to rest, and he would be fully recovered after a day or two.

Xiao Ying heard that, and he felt relieved. However, he brought Naruto out of the room to give space to his friend and his wife. He also wanted to scold Naruto for doing something uncertain and dangerous.

"You shouldn't do something this dangerous again. If you were to be hurt or die, What am I going to do?"

Xiao Ying was angry at Naruto. 

Even though it was to help his best friend's daughter. But if something were to happen to him as well, he and Xiao Yue would be devastated.

"I am sorry. Ying-san. I won't do something without thinking again.

Naruto never got scolded because of concern before, and it felt really nice. 

Xiao Ying sighed. He understood Naruto, so he wouldn't scold him more than this. He looked at Xia Hongyi and Dongyue. Both of them were very happy to get their baby back.
