Chapter 73: Guilds and Organization 3
At that moment, Leon and Roselia entered the quest hall, their presence drawing the attention of everyone in the room. Hades's eyes locked onto them immediately, recognition flashing across his face. His expression twisted into a mixture of anger and disbelief.
"So, you're the ones who took my quest," he spat, his voice dripping with venom. "You dare interfere with my affairs?"
Roselia raised an eyebrow, leaning casually against one of her blades. "Your quest? Last I checked, quests on the board are fair game for anyone."
Leon, unfazed, crossed his arms and regarded Hades coolly. "If you wanted it so badly, maybe you should've completed it yourself instead of leaving it unclaimed."
Hades's face flushed with rage, but the butler intervened once more, stepping forward and bowing slightly. "Young Master Hades, it appears these Ascenders have successfully completed the quest. It is unwise to engage them here, within the tower's protected zones."
Hades glared at Leon and Roselia, his fists clenched. "Fine. You've won this round. But don't think this is over. I'll make sure you regret crossing me."
Roselia smirked, her confidence unwavering. "We'll be waiting."
With that, Hades spun on his heel, storming out of the hall with his entourage trailing behind. The tension in the room eased as soon as they were gone, and the receptionist gave Leon and Roselia an approving nod.
"Thank you for not escalating the situation further," she said. "He's troublesome, but rules are rules."
Leon shrugged. "We're just here to climb the tower. Drama isn't part of the plan."
Roselia chuckled. "Speak for yourself. I kind of enjoyed putting him in his place."
The receptionist smiled faintly before returning to her work. Leon and Roselia approached the counter to officially turn in their completed quest, ready for whatever came next.
Soon, they registered their completed quest as the receptionist confirmed their record.
"You can take two more quests," she informed them with a polite smile.
Leon and Roselia nodded in acknowledgment before turning their attention back to the quest board.
"Let's take another undead quest," Leon suggested, his tone thoughtful. "It'll help us prepare for the Skeleton King."
Roselia nodded in agreement, her expression serious as she scanned the available quests. "Makes sense. The more we get used to fighting undead, the better our chances against him."
After a moment, they returned to the receptionist desk with two quests, both marked as S-rank challenges.
"Abomination King and Death Puppet King," Leon said, handing over the quest forms.
The receptionist nodded, processing their selection. "Both quests are registered. You have a three-month time limit to complete them," she informed them with a professional tone.
Leon and Roselia nodded in understanding.
"Let's head back. We'll start the quests tomorrow," Leon said, yawning slightly as he stretched. Roselia agreed with a nod, and the two began walking toward their inn.
However, after some time, Leon's expression turned cautious. "It seems like we're being monitored," he muttered under his breath.
Roselia's eyes narrowed, scanning the surroundings. "Most likely that Hades kid," she said, her voice tinged with annoyance.
Leon nodded in agreement. "Probably. Let's not act just yet. We'll deal with it if they try anything."
As they neared the inn, Leon slowed his pace slightly, using the opportunity to subtly glance around. His sharp senses picked up faint traces of mana fluctuations, confirming that they were indeed being watched.
"They're keeping their distance," Leon murmured, his voice low enough for only Roselia to hear.
Roselia tilted her head slightly, her hand brushing one of her twin blades. "Do we confront them now, or let them make the first move?"
Leon smirked, his calm demeanor unshaken. "Let them stew for a bit. If Hades really sent someone, they're not going to act recklessly in the tower's safe zones. Besides, it's better to handle this on our own terms."
Roselia nodded, though a mischievous glint shone in her eyes. "Fine, but if they annoy me, don't blame me for acting first."
They entered the inn, the warmth and lively chatter of adventurers greeting them. The building was bustling with activity as groups of climbers shared tales of their conquests or plotted their next moves. Leon and Roselia headed toward their reserved room, ignoring the occasional curious glances from other adventurers.
Once inside their room, Leon activated a barrier spell, ensuring their conversation would remain private.
"Do you think he'll try to attack us directly, or is this just intimidation?" Roselia asked, sitting cross-legged on the bed as she polished her blades.
Leon leaned back in his chair, his staff resting against the wall. "It's hard to say. Hades seems like the arrogant type, so he might try something flashy to save face. But he's not stupid enough to act without backup. If he does attack, it'll be when we're outside the safe zones, likely during one of our quests."
Roselia smirked, the idea of a fight clearly exciting her. "Good. I was starting to get bored. If he shows up, I'll handle his lackeys while you take him down."
Leon chuckled, shaking his head. "Let's not get too cocky. The son of a Death Lord isn't going to be a pushover. Still, if he's reckless enough to come after us, we'll make sure he regrets it."
Roselia nodded as she set her blades aside, a seductive smile appearing on her face. "By the way, there's a third blade that needs polishing too," she said, licking her lips as she looked at Leon.
Leon glanced at her, raising an eyebrow at her boldness, but chose to respond with his usual calm demeanor. "Focus, Roselia. We've got work to do tomorrow," he said, though a faint smirk tugged at the corner of his lips.
Roselia smiled as she bent forward, walking on all fours until she reached him. Facing his crotch, she said, "Oh, I am focusing," her hands moving to his pants as she began to open them.
Leon simply smiled, letting her do what she wanted.
Soon, she stripped him of his pants and looked at the "sheathed sword."
"It seems I'll have to work hard to unsheathe it," she said, standing up and grabbing Leon's face. She pulled him onto the bed, kissing him fiercely. Sitting on top of him, she continued kissing him passionately. After a moment, she glanced at the still "sheathed sword."
"Hmm, it wasn't enough?" she mumbled, looking at Leon, who had a teasing smile on his face.
"You know I'm no longer a virgin who gets aroused with just a kiss," he said, looking at her with amusement.
"Yes, yes, you're now a big pervert," she replied, rolling her eyes. Standing up from the bed, she walked to the side. "Don't look until I come out," she ordered, glaring at him.
Leon nodded, pulling a blindfold out of nowhere and putting it over his eyes.
"Surprise me," he said with a smirk.
"Oh, you will be," Roselia replied as she closed the door behind her.
After a few moments, she emerged, wearing a dress designed to make even the most stoic person blush.
She wore a seductive nurse outfit consisting of a white and pink bikini and a nurse's hat. The skirt had a long slit, revealing her toned thighs.
Adding to her allure, she transformed into her devil form. Blackish-red horns emerged from the sides of her head, and a mischievous tail swayed left and right behind her.
Roselia sauntered toward Leon, her heels clicking softly against the floor as her devilish tail swayed with each step. She stopped in front of him and leaned in close, her warm breath brushing against his ear.
"Are you ready for your check-up, patient?" she whispered seductively, her voice dripping with mischief.
Leon smirked under the blindfold. "I'm all yours, Nurse Roselia. Show me your treatment methods."
She chuckled, placing her hands on his chest and gently pushing him back onto the bed. "Oh, you'll need intensive care, Leon. But don't worry—this nurse knows exactly how to handle stubborn cases."
Roselia trailed her fingers along his chest, her touch both teasing and electrifying. Her devil horns glowed faintly as her tail playfully curled around his wrist.
"Let's see if this stubborn patient can respond properly to my care," she teased, her voice filled with mock seriousness as she leaned closer.
Leon, still blindfolded, smirked. "I'm afraid my condition is quite... severe. It might take a lot of effort to treat me."
Roselia straddled him, leaning in so her lips hovered just above his. "Then I'll make sure you leave here completely healed—no matter how long it takes," she purred, before closing the distance with a deep, passionate kiss.
Her tail flicked mischievously, and her aura radiated a mix of seduction and playful dominance.
Then she went near him as Leon being blindfolded felt her kissing her lips as she continued to kiss him as her body brushed his body.
Her hands also went for his sword as she began to caress it, Leon felt a jolting current as being blindfolded and having being teased by her is new feeling, a feeling that he is enjoying very much.
