August froze in disbelief. This turn of fortune—two cardinal sins, the Sha Naqba Imuru, and the Heart of Darkness—was beyond imagination.

"Is this my reward after being pushed to the brink? Have I finally turned the tide?"

Without hesitation, he claimed the two cardinal sins. The Sin of Pride, symbolized by orange for the Sun, and the Sin of Wrath, symbolized by yellow for Mars, descended upon him, merging directly into his body.

Instantly, August's power surged, propelling him to the threshold of the Satan class, just a sliver away from becoming a Transcender. While there was no bottleneck now, regaining his Level 9 strength would still require effort and time.

As for the Heart of Darkness, August was intrigued by the obsidian gemstone. The moment he held it, the Gate of Sins within his dark sea of consciousness resonated. A wave of darkness radiated outward.

The enormity of this revelation stunned August. This power surpassed anything he'd previously known. Assimilating a single sin already granted him conditional immortality; he would resurrect as long as the world harbored the corresponding sin. But when the seven sins united, he would become utterly invincible.

August steadied his emotions. Excitement was premature—his triumph would come only when the seven sins were his. Yet, he couldn't ignore how conveniently the system seemed to guide him toward this end. The odds of drawing sins from the card system had been unusually high, culminating in this dual acquisition.

Returning to his inner world, August took a deep breath, readying himself for the next journey.

After over a year in the dull world of Akame ga Kill, August yearned for new horizons. He retrieved the Traversal Card he had just drawn, a sly smile curling his lips.

Known as a "Giga Float," this vast city of interconnected structures floated serenely, a sanctuary for both technology and mysticism.

Constantly bathed in warm temperatures above 20 degrees Celsius, the island housed a population of fifty-six thousand. Officially part of Japan, it was a self-governing Special Administrative Zone dubbed the "Demon Sanctuary," created to protect endangered demon races and study their unique abilities.

Under a moonlit sky, a new visitor descended upon this remarkable place.

Boom—

Like a meteor streaking from the heavens, August crash-landed with dramatic force, creating a crater upon impact.

"Damn that system!" he growled, climbing out of the hole. "Who in their right mind teleports someone mid-air? If my powers weren't intact, I'd have been splattered!"

Dusting off his tattered clothing, August surveyed his surroundings. The modern urban atmosphere was a stark contrast to the archaic lands he'd left behind. Retreating momentarily into his inner world, he donned a fresh set of clothes before reemerging, his demeanor calm and composed.

His dramatic entrance had fortunately gone unnoticed, as the park he'd landed in was deserted at that hour. Stepping onto a bustling street lined with neon lights, August marveled at the city's lively energy.

Nearby, a conversation between two young women caught his attention.

"Hey, did you hear the rumors?"

"What rumors?"

"About the Fourth Primogenitor!"

"The Fourth Primogenitor?"

"They say it's an immortal monster with no kin, ruling twelve calamity beasts and driven solely by carnage."

"Eh, it's not that surprising. This is Itogami Island. Vampires, spirits, beastfolk—you name it, they're all here. What's one more legend?"

"Ugh, you're so boring!"

"Whatever."

Listening in, August pieced it together.

"Itogami Island... So this is Strike the Blood, a world where factions fight over a high schooler turned Fourth Primogenitor. How... entertaining."
