"Boom!"

The massive spaceship shot up into the sky, piercing through the clouds and vanishing from Planet Kentar in an instant.

Meanwhile, word of the event spread like wildfire.

One day later.

"Bang!"

A solid object was reduced to rubble in an instant. Inside the enormous command chamber of a spaceship...

Frieza's face darkened.

"Are you telling me that Zarbon and Dodoria were slain by that filthy Saiyan?"

His voice was low and icy, his eyes gleaming with a dangerous light.

"Y-yes! And also—"

"Bang!"

Before the alien could finish, his body erupted into a crimson mist, and he was wiped out in an instant.

The sight sent shivers down the spines of the remaining subordinates, who immediately collapsed to their knees in terror.

"Well, isn't this an unexpected twist?"

"Summon the Ginyu Force."

Frieza's command was quiet, but it carried an undeniable weight.

"Yes, Frieza Sama!" A trembling alien quickly relayed the order.

Before long, a massive projection flickered into existence.

"Frieza Sama!"

Ginyu appeared, kneeling on one knee, his tone filled with unwavering respect.

"Ginyu, a Saiyan survivor has escaped from Planet Vegeta and taken down Zarbon and Dodoria. Handle it."

Frieza's tone was devoid of amusement now.

"Understood, Frieza Sama. I will dispatch my men at once." Ginyu replied firmly.

"Oh ho ho, then I'll be looking forward to your good news, Captain Ginyu." Frieza's signature smirk returned.

Far away, in the southern reaches of the North Galaxy, several ships streaked across the cosmos, heading toward their target.

The Ginyu Force was already in motion.

As Frieza's most elite warriors, they were the ultimate enforcers of his reign. Time and again, they had crushed civilizations, sweeping across countless worlds like a storm.

"Jeice, Burter!"

Aboard one of the ships, Ginyu ended his transmission with Frieza and immediately contacted two of his subordinates.

"Captain!"

"Captain!"

Jeice and Burter acknowledged him in unison.

"Frieza Sama has issued a command. A rogue Saiyan has eliminated Zarbon and Dodoria. You two will take care of it." Ginyu's voice was decisive.

"A Saiyan?"

"And strong enough to beat Zarbon and Dodoria? Now that's unexpected."

Jeice and Burter exchanged looks of surprise.

"Indeed. According to Frieza Sama's report, his Battle Power has already reached thirty thousand." Ginyu confirmed.

"Understood, Captain!"

"We're on it."

Jeice and Burter nodded, their eyes glinting with anticipation.

As warriors of the Ginyu Force, they thrived on combat.

A Saiyan with a Battle Power of thirty thousand? That was enough to make things interesting.

"Whoosh! Whoosh!"

Their ships tore through the void, blazing toward their destination.

As members of Frieza's inner circle, their vessels were among the most advanced in the fleet.

Two streaks of light flashed across the cosmos.

Meanwhile, Jiang Chen remained unaware of the forces heading his way.

His battles with Zarbon and Dodoria had stirred something deep within him—his Saiyan blood.

He could feel his power rising, the energy within him surging at a visible rate.

Yet, after breaking past thirty thousand, his growth had noticeably slowed. Even now, his Battle Power had only reached thirty-six thousand, a stark contrast to his previous rapid gains.

However, after every battle, even minor ones, his strength would increase at an imperceptible pace.

In less than ten days, his Battle Power had climbed from thirty-six thousand to thirty-seven thousand— and it was still rising.

At this rate, he would likely surpass forty thousand before long.

"Saiyans truly are a warrior race."

Jiang Chen muttered to himself.

While he had always understood this fact, experiencing it firsthand was an entirely different matter.

A Saiyan's strength wasn't just about training— it was about battle. Their potential could only be unlocked through combat. Just like Kakarot (Son Goku) in the original story.

Goku's journey wasn't merely about learning from Grandfather Gohan, Master Roshi, Korin, Kami, or King Kai. It was about the battles he fought— the Red Ribbon Army, Tien Shinhan, King Piccolo, Raditz, Vegeta, the Ginyu Force, Frieza, the Androids, and Majin Buu.

Through these fights, Goku, who was born with a Battle Power of just two, ultimately became the strongest warrior in Universe 7.

Jiang Chen knew that if he wanted to reach his full potential, he would have to walk the same path.

To grow through battle and push himself to the limit.

His expression flickered with excitement as he thought of this.

In the days that followed, he focused on consolidating his newfound strength.

At the same time, he kept a close watch on Frieza's movements.

Of course, to further his own objectives, he also destroyed several of Frieza's outposts along the way.

Time passed quickly.

A month later.

On a distant planet, a Frieza Force base was obliterated in a deafening explosion.

Hovering in the sky, Jiang Chen narrowed his eyes.

"The Ginyu Force?"

He murmured, though his expression held a little surprise.

After eliminating Zarbon and Dodoria, the only force Frieza could send— other than himself— was the Ginyu Force.

There were many in Frieza's army with Battle Powers in the tens of thousands, but only the Ginyu Force could guarantee his defeat.

What did surprise him, however, was that the entire squad hadn't been dispatched.

Only two members had been sent.

Jeice and Burter.

Jiang Chen recalled these two well.

They were second only to Ginyu himself. Each had a Battle Power exceeding forty thousand, and Burter's was even rumored to be close to fifty thousand.

Moreover, they had synergy— their combined attacks made them even deadlier.

"This might be just what I need." Jiang Chen whispered, feeling the fire of battle ignite within him.

His fight with Zarbon and Dodoria had already triggered a rapid evolution in his strength.

If he clashed with Jeice and Burter, he could push himself even further.

Especially since they were both stronger than him— this was the kind of challenge that would force his limits to break.

With this realization, Jiang Chen made a decision.

In the days that followed, he no longer concealed his presence.

Instead, he openly revealed himself to the Frieza Force, inviting the battle to come.

After all, as long as Frieza himself didn't come, there was essentially no real threat to him.

Even with its limitations, the Great Ape transformation still provided a tenfold increase in Battle Power.

Now that he could retain his mind in that form, the only real concern was Ginyu's ability to swap bodies. Everything else was trivial.

Jiang Chen waited.

Meanwhile, the entire North Galaxy was in turmoil.

For over a decade, Frieza had ruled as the undisputed emperor of the cosmos, reigning over the North Galaxy with an iron grip.

There had been challengers before, but none had survived.

In recent years, no one even dared to defy him.

But now, someone had risen.

This mysterious warrior had destroyed over a dozen of Frieza's outposts across space.

This news sent shockwaves through countless factions in the North Galaxy.

This was Frieza, the Cosmic Emperor. To defy him so blatantly— wiping out his bases as if he were nothing— was an act of utter defiance.
