"Honored Guests, I have found him," Kami Piccolo's voice boomed, instantly grabbing the trio's attention.
"You actually found Kakarot?" Raditz exclaimed, surprise flashing in his eyes as he turned to Kami Piccolo.
"Indeed!"
Gine's excitement bubbled over. It had been nearly two years since she'd last seen her youngest son, and the news filled her with joy.
"I can't say for sure it's Kakarot, but he's the only one who arrived on Earth within the last year or two," Kami Piccolo explained, shaking his head slightly.
"Thank you! Could you guide us to him, Kami Sama?" Jiang Chen asked with a warm smile on his face.
"Of course!"
"They're on Mount Paozu, east of here," Kami Piccolo said, pointing. "But it seems your child has been adopted."
"Forgive my boldness, but please don't harm him," He added, a hint of concern in his voice.
"Adopted?" Gine was taken aback, and Raditz looked equally surprised.
"Don't worry. We mean no harm to this planet, and certainly not to anyone living here," Jiang Chen reassured him with a smile.
Kami Piccolo seemed to relax slightly, though apprehension lingered.
"Thank you!"
"Thank you so much," he added, bowing slightly.
He'd initially considered hiding this information but ultimately decided against it. These three were incredibly powerful, especially Jiang Chen and Raditz, who instilled a sense of dread he'd never felt before.
"We should be thanking you, Kami Sama," Jiang Chen said. "We won't disturb you further. We'll be off!"
With that, Jiang Chen soared into the air, followed closely by Gine and Raditz.
"Alright, alright!" Kami Piccolo nodded quickly.
Once airborne, the three headed straight for Mount Paozu.
"Boom!"
A surge of energy tore through the air, and in an instant, the three figures vanished from Kami Piccolo's sight.
Finally, Kami Piccolo let out a long breath, feeling a slight easing of the pressure. But it was only slight. As long as Jiang Chen and his group remained, a heavy cloud of worry would hang over him.
For now, he was grateful they hadn't shown any intention of causing trouble for Earth. But that was only temporary relief. The power of Jiang Chen and his companions was daunting, and Kami Piccolo couldn't shake the feeling of uncertainty about their true intentions.
Just then, Popo San returned, and upon seeing him, especially the rice cooker in his hands, Kami Piccolo felt a wave of relief wash over him.
"Popo San, thank you," He said, taking a deep breath.
"Kami, are you really going to release him?" Popo San asked, still hesitant.
He was acutely aware of the terror contained within the rice cooker. It had taken great effort for Kami Piccolo to separate that being, and releasing him now seemed unwise.
"Let's wait a bit longer," Kami Piccolo replied after a moment of contemplation.
He was still unsure of Jiang Chen and his group's intentions, and the thought of hastily releasing Demon King Piccolo made him hesitate.
Meanwhile, Jiang Chen was unaware of these internal struggles. He knew from his knowledge of Dragon Ball that Piccolo had split into two, but he hadn't anticipated that their presence would frighten Kami Piccolo to the point of considering merging with Demon King Piccolo.
Leading Raditz and Gine, he flew over Earth's many mountains.
…
A few minutes later, they arrived at Mount Paozu.
"Is this Mount Paozu?" Raditz asked, scanning the area for any signs of Kakarot.
"Let's go; he should be over there!" Jiang Chen said, sensing a faint aura and gesturing in a specific direction.
The two nodded, and the trio took to the air again, heading toward a nearby mountain.
Soon, they spotted a wisp of smoke rising in the distance.
"Is he really here?" Raditz's eyes lit up with hope.
Just then, a figure emerged from a nearby house— an old man with a white beard. Though aged, he still appeared quite robust.
"Is that the person who adopted Kakarot?" Gine asked, her gaze fixed on the old man.
"That should be him. Let's go over!" Jiang Chen replied, urging the others to follow.
As they approached, the three figures descended from the sky and landed in front of the house.
"You three, what brings you to Mount Paozu?" Son Gohan asked with a hint of nervousness in his voice as he looked at them.
In that moment, he sensed the overwhelming energy radiating from the trio, making even him, a martial arts master, feel uneasy.
"Forgive our intrusion. About two years ago, a younger brother of mine accidentally landed on Earth. I heard from Kami Sama that he was adopted by you, so we came to see him," Jiang Chen explained with a friendly smile on his face.
"You're Goku's family?" Son Gohan asked, surprise flickering across his face.
"Goku?" Raditz echoed, a bit confused.
"Hahaha, I almost forgot to mention. Goku is the name I gave the child. Please, come inside. Goku went out to play in the mountains and should be back soon," Son Gohan said, inviting them in.
"Alright! Thank you for your hospitality!" Jiang Chen replied, and the three followed Son Gohan into the house.
"I never expected that Goku wasn't from Earth. No wonder he was so extraordinary from the start," Son Gohan mused as he served tea to the guests.
"Oh, sir, could you tell me about Kakarot?" Gine asked, her eyes fixed on Son Gohan. "By the way, let me introduce myself. I'm the child's mother. Due to some incidents back home, we had no choice but to send him to Earth. Thank you for taking care of him during this time."
"Is Kakarot Goku's name?" Son Gohan asked, intrigued.
"Of course!" Gine confirmed.
"Speaking of which, when I first found the child, he was quite fierce," Son Gohan chuckled, reminiscing about their first encounter.
As he recounted the story, Gine listened intently, and even Raditz seemed captivated, not wanting to interrupt.
The atmosphere in the room was warm and friendly until—
A noise outside the door interrupted them.
"Grandpa, I'm back! Look what I caught!" A young voice called out, brimming with excitement.
Everyone's eyes lit up at the sound.
"Goku's back!" Son Gohan exclaimed.
Gine sprang to her feet, and even Jiang Chen felt a surge of anticipation.
Kakarot, Son Goku – the true legend of the Dragon Ball world.
Unlike Naruto and Sasuke, Kakarot was the real deal. The Strongest of them all.
The door swung open, revealing a small figure who paused, eyes wide with curiosity at the sight of the guests.
"Kakarot!" Gine rushed forward, enveloping him in a tight embrace.
The small figure instinctively struggled, then relaxed in her arms.
"You… you're my mom?" Kakarot murmured, confusion clouding his eyes.
Though the memories of his childhood were lost due to his head injury, his body instinctively recognized her.
"Hmph, only a Battle Power of five," Raditz scoffed, a smirk playing on his lips.
He kept his comments brief.
Jiang Chen smiled, choosing not to press the issue.
Raditz had clearly changed a lot lately, and Jiang Chen didn't want to push him too hard.
He watched Kakarot, nestled in Gine's embrace, and noted how much he resembled the child he remembered.
At this point, Kakarot was much younger, similar to when he left Planet Vegeta.
His Battle Power had barely budged, only increasing from two to five.
But that was expected.
Son Goku's true power would blossom later, during his training under Master Roshi. This was still the time when Son Gohan was laying the groundwork for Son Goku's future.
