Luke: (Determined.) "Alright, Houdini. Today, you become a real magician."

*(Cut to Claire and Phil watching from the kitchen window.)

Claire: (Exasperated.) "Phil, can you please put a stop to this?"

Phil: (Excited.) "Claire, this is how greatness starts! First, it's a rabbit trick. Next, he's headlining Vegas." (Pauses.) "Or he's arrested for trying to make a car disappear. Either way—proud dad moment."

(Cut back to Luke, who dramatically waves his hands over the rabbit's cage.)

Luke: (Whispering.) "Abra-cadabra…" (He throws his hands up… and the rabbit bolts from the cage.)

*(Luke screams, the rabbit zooms across the yard, and the screen door slams shut as Claire panics.)

Claire: (Yelling.) "PHIL!"

(Cut to Phil's talking-head interview.)

Phil: (Sheepish.) "Turns out Houdini is less magician… more Houdini."

Scene: Mitch & Cam's House – The Talent Show Prep

(Cam is in full dance coach mode, pacing in front of Lily, who sits in a tiny tutu, unimpressed.)

Cam: (Clapping.) "Alright, Lily! It's time to show the world your raw talent!"

*(Lily just stares.)

Mitch: (From the couch, deadpan.) "Cam, she's one year old."

Cam: (Ignoring him.) "And Mozart was composing symphonies by age four!" (Turns to Lily.) "Come on, baby! Give us a twirl!"

*(Lily blinks… then spits up on her tutu.)

(Cut to Mitch's talking-head interview.)

Mitch: (Flatly.) "We're gonna crush this competition."

Scene: School Library – The AI Showdown Begins

(Elliot and Alex sit across from each other, laptops open, faces tense. Other students gather, sensing a battle brewing.)

Alex: (Smirking.) "So, how's your so-called app?"

Elliot: (Confident.) "Running flawlessly. Unlike your outdated homework strategies."

Alex: (Mock offended.) "Excuse me?! I optimize my workflow!"

(Cut to Elliot's talking-head interview.)

Elliot: (Grinning.) "Alex doesn't like losing. And I love watching her try not to show it."

(Cut to Alex's talking-head interview.)

Alex: (Deadpan.) "If his app beats my methods… I will literally never hear the end of it."

(They each input a set of test problems. Elliot hits Enter. His app predicts the homework questions. Alex double-checks.)

(Her eyes widen slightly—just enough for Elliot to notice.)

Elliot: (Smirking.) "Admit it. You're impressed."

Alex: (Recovering.) "Impressed? Please. I'm just… analyzing."

(But she types faster now, a hint of urgency. Elliot grins—he knows he's got her.)

Scene: Jay & Gloria's House – The Jazz Nightmare Continues

(Jay is in his recliner, looking exhausted. Manny stands in front of him, trumpet in hand.)

Manny: (Dramatic.) "Music is a language of the soul, Jay. And my soul has a lot to say."

Jay: (Rubbing his temples.) "Does it have to scream?"

(Manny takes a deep breath… and blows a loud, horrible trumpet note.)

(Cut to Jay's talking-head interview.)

Jay: (Deadpan.) "I thought jazz was supposed to be smooth." (Pauses.) "This is aggressive warfare."

*(Cut back to Manny, excitedly playing random, painful notes.)

Jay: (Grumbles, to Gloria.) "I miss the poetry phase."

*(Gloria hands him a glass of wine.)

Gloria: (Smirking.) "You brought this on yourself."

*(Jay sighs, takes a sip, and winces as Manny blows another note.)

Scene: School – Elliot & Alex's Truce (Sort Of)

(Bell rings. Students pack up. Alex lingers for a second.)

Alex: (Casually.) "Your app was… decent."

Elliot: (Mock surprise.) "Is that… a compliment?"

Alex: (Rolling eyes.) "More like a scientific observation." (Pauses.) "But… it was kinda cool."

Elliot: (Smirking.) "That definitely sounded like a compliment."

*(She shakes her head, walking away. Elliot watches her go, looking pleased with himself.)

(Cut to Elliot's talking-head interview.)

Elliot: (Grinning.) "Baby steps. Today, she admits I'm decent. Tomorrow? She's my biggest fan."

Scene: Talent Show – Disaster Strikes

*(The school auditorium. Cam stands backstage, bouncing with excitement.)

Cam: (Whispering to Lily.) "Okay, baby! This is your moment!"

(Mitch, less enthusiastic, adjusts Lily's tutu.)

Mitch: (Flatly.) "Sure. Let's go win against a bunch of kids who still eat glue."

*(Lily is set on stage… and the moment she hears the audience noise… she screams.)

*(Cam gasps in horror.)

Cam: (Dramatic.) "She's stage-frightened! My little star!"

*(Lily keeps screaming. Mitch scoops her up.)

Mitch: (Walking away.) "Well. That was quick."

(Cut to Cam's talking-head interview.)

Cam: (Sighing, devastated.) "Turns out… talent shows aren't Lily's thing. But I will not rest until she finds her true calling!" (Pauses.) "Or until Mitch stops rolling his eyes every time I say 'star power'."
