Daniel swiftly drew his gun and fired at Lucifer, but the bullets ricocheted harmlessly off the demon's black wings, which he had raised as a shield. As Lucifer closed the distance and entered striking range, Daniel immediately slashed at him with his saber, exploiting gaps in his guard.
Clang! Clang! Clang! Bang! Bang!
Lucifer used the claws on both hands to parry and deflect the rapid onslaught of slashes that Daniel unleashed. The exchange was a blur of motion, with swords and claws clashing at blinding speed. Occasionally, Daniel fired his gun with his left hand, aiming to throw Lucifer off balance.
Then, mirages of Daniel split off from his body, scattering around and encircling Lucifer from multiple angles. This disoriented the demon further, forcing him into mistakes.
Lucifer's movements began to slow. His decisions became less precise, his reflexes faltered, and he missed crucial deflections. The relentless pressure from Daniel's blade took its toll, with chips forming along Lucifer's claws, weakening them with each strike.
Daniel's tactic was effective, forcing Lucifer to use his wings to deflect bullets fired from multiple angles.
The fight appeared chaotic, but it was far from random. Daniel deliberately baited Lucifer, looking for an opening he could exploit while the latter took the bait.
Bang!
Daniel seized an opportunity and fired at a gap in Lucifer's wings, aiming directly for his eyes. At the same time, he struck with two simultaneous saber slashes—one targeting Lucifer's neck and the other aiming at his wing.
Lucifer deflected the bullet first, then blocked the two blades. However, in the briefest lapse of focus, he failed to catch the third attack—a strike from one of Daniel's mirages.
Slash!
Blood sprayed across the ground as black feathers scattered into the air. Lucifer's left wing had been severed cleanly from his body.
"Grrr…" Lucifer growled in pain, flinching as his balance faltered. Instinctively, he attempted to retreat, but it was too late. Two more slashes were aimed at the backs of his legs. If he didn't evade or block, his legs would be severed.
Lucifer leaped into the air, narrowly avoiding the strikes. But in doing so, he noticed what seemed to be a massive opening—Daniel's neck was exposed, completely unguarded. The opening lasted only a fraction of a second, but Lucifer was confident it was enough.
"Die!" Lucifer roared with a wide grin, slashing downward with his claws, fully intending to decapitate Daniel.
But Daniel smirked, a knowing expression that hinted at a trap already sprung.
Boom!
Before Lucifer's claws could descend halfway, an enormous, solid force struck him with the impact of a truck, slamming him into the ground. Dazed, Lucifer opened his eyes and saw a massive construct of red mana pressing him down—a palm-shaped structure that pinned him with immense force.
"Urgh… Garrrraaahhh!" Lucifer roared in defiance, struggling against the overwhelming pressure. However, the force was far too great for his body to resist.
Realizing he had no choice, Lucifer resorted to his most hated form—the cursed transformation that embodied his power and authority as the Demon of Pride.
With a flash of red light, Lucifer's struggling body began to change. His smooth, white skin turned blood red. His severed black feathered wing regrew, transforming into 12 bat-like wings with a blend of feathers and membrane. His body swelled, growing larger and larger until it matched the size of Daniel's mana construct.
"Now… we're the same size. Prepare to—"
Boom!
Before Lucifer could finish, a giant fist from Hecatonchires smashed into his face, instantly shutting him up. What followed was a relentless barrage of punches, as the hundred arms of the mana construct worked at high speed, pummeling Lucifer without mercy.
Booom! Booom! Booom! Booom! Booom! Booom! Booom! Booom! Booom! Booom! Booom!
The relentless fists struck Lucifer's body repeatedly, leaving him no room to retaliate. Each resounding blow landed on his face, gut, or chest, causing his organs to shake violently inside him injuring him even further.
Blood, teeth, and saliva mixed with blood spill out of his mouth from the gut punch, flying all over the place, some bone broken sound clearly resounding within the square.
With every strike, the injuries pile up increasingly, rapidly slowing Lucifer's movements and dulling his reaction.
Lucifer endured over a thousand punches in just a few short seconds, each forceful enough to crush a small mountain. Despite the renewal of his body through his transformation, he was quickly battered and bruised. His form was riddled with blunt trauma and bruises. Even as a Hell Lord, there was no way he could simply shrug off such a relentless onslaught.
"Enough!" Lucifer roared, discharging a surge of his power that managed to push Hecatonchires' avatar back slightly. But that small opening was all Lucifer needed.
He quickly flew high into the sky, knowing this was the only place he could gain an advantage over Daniel's Hecatonchires avatar, as it could not fly.

As the Lord of Pride ascended, he began gathering his mana, preparing to obliterate the mana construct in one devastating attack. His goal was simple: destroy the avatar so he could kill that arrogant human once and for all.
At that moment, the demon horde below stirred, eager to pounce on Daniel and aid their master.
"Don't you dare! This human is mine and mine alone!" Lucifer roared at his underlings. He had already suffered enough humiliation in front of them. To demons, any display of weakness was an invitation—a sign that their leader could be overthrown. Among archfiends, such vulnerability was a signal for rivals to seize power.
Lucifer refused to allow that. He needed to kill this human in the most brutal and humiliating way possible. It wasn't enough to simply kill him; he had to humiliate Daniel to demonstrate to all his demons the consequences of defiance.
But suddenly, Daniel erupted with a flash of light, and a burst of holy energy surged outward, burning Lucifer from the inside out. His strength faltered.
"Wh… when!?" Lucifer gasped, his voice trembling as a sharp, searing pain tore through his body. The human had done something to him—something he hadn't anticipated.
Daniel, meanwhile, had just activated a spell card within his mindscape, hoping it would immediately kill Lucifer. However, it became clear that it wouldn't be so easy.

With the strike of the Exorcise spell, Lucifer lost the strength to stay airborne and plummeted to the ground. Daniel didn't waste the opportunity; he swiftly closed the distance and pulled Lucifer down with force.
Boom!
Lucifer crashed face-first into the ground, demolishing several small buildings in the area where he landed.
Boom!
Another deafening impact followed as Daniel stomped on Lucifer's back, pinning him in place. Hecatonchires' hundred arms seized all of Lucifer's wings, holding them tightly in an unyielding grip.
"What!? What are you trying to do!?" Lucifer exclaimed in alarm, a surge of dread coursing through his mind.
Rip! Crack!
The sickening sound of tearing flesh and cracking bones echoed through the battlefield. A sharp, agonizing pain tore through Lucifer as all twelve of his wings were ripped away and discarded like worthless scraps.
With his wings gone, Lucifer felt the immense power residing within him begin to unravel. The control he had fought so hard to maintain started to slip away.
"No! No, no, nooooo NOOOOOOOOOO!!" he screamed, his voice rising in desperation. Like a dam breaking under immense pressure, the power he had accumulated began to spill uncontrollably from his body. Part of it was the power he stole from Pride, Seraphina Aldenmere, or the Witch of Pride.
