Chapter 205: Chapter 203:- Daddy
Morning light streamed through the windows, casting a warm glow over the living room. The girls bustled about, each engaged in various activities. Rei was in the kitchen, humming softly as she prepared breakfast.
Fuyumi set the table with a bright smile, her movements graceful and filled with care. Maki and Momo chatted animatedly on the couch, while Kaina helped Eri with a puzzle on the floor.
Izuku was still asleep, as the girls let him sleep and didn't disturb his slumber. The girls had taken it upon themselves to make this morning special as a way to show their gratitude for making all of their nights the most memorable.
"Eri, sweetie," Rei called gently, kneeling down to Eri's level. "How about we surprise Izuku when he wakes up?"
Eri looked up with curious eyes. "Surprise?"
Maki joined in, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Yes, a big surprise. How would you like to call Izuku 'Daddy' from now on?"
Eri's eyes widened, and she glanced around at the smiling faces. "Daddy?"
Momo nodded, her voice soft and encouraging. "Izuku has been taking such good care of you, like a real dad. Don't you want a daddy? You have two big sisters, me and Maki, and three mothers Fuyumi, Rei and Kaina, don't you want a daddy too? I think he'd love it if you called him that."
Eri thought for a while as her face lit up with a shy smile. "Okay... Daddy."
The girls exchanged delighted looks, feeling a deep sense of happiness at Eri's acceptance, well it was a way for them to tease him as well. They returned to their tasks, each feeling a warm, loving bond forming between them along with a sense of eagerness to see Izuku's reaction to it.
A little while later, Izuku emerged from his room, feeling fresh and delighted. The smell of freshly cooked food drew him to the kitchen, where Rei greeted him with a gentle smile.
"Good morning, husband," she said, handing him a cup of coffee. "Breakfast is almost ready."
"Thanks, Rei," Izuku replied, taking a sip and savoring the warmth, not minding Rei calling him husband, as even he started addressing her with honorifics.
As he sat down at the table, Eri ran up to him, her eyes sparkling. "Good morning, Daddy!"
Izuku froze, his heart skipping a beat. He spit the coffee in his mouth out, shocked by Eri suddenly addressing him as daddy, as he looked at Eri, then at the girls, who were all busy with their work not facing Izuku, but all of them smiling knowingly trying hard to stop their laughter seeing Izuku reaction.
Izuku's face started twitching heavily as he placed Eri on his lap and asked him, "Eri, who told you to call me daddy?"
"Maki and Momo nee san, and others also wanted me to call you daddy saying I have two sisters and three mothers but no daddy, so I called you daddy," Eri spoke up with innocence in her voice while Izuku smiled.
The girls knew that smile wasn't a smile and their plan had backfired, they didn't take into account the fact that Izuku would ask Eri, and she would openly say who's doing it was.
"Do you not like me calling you daddy?" her eyes had small drops of tears forming, thinking Izuku is angry because of her calling him daddy.
Izuku looked at each of the girls, one by one, who now tried to act like they were engrossed in their tasks, though their shared smirks betrayed them. He took a deep breath, trying to maintain his composure, and then turned his attention back to Eri.
"Thank you, Eri. I love it," he said softly, giving her a gentle hug.
Eri beamed, her small arms wrapping around his neck. "I love you too, Daddy."
Izuku's heart swelled with emotion. Despite the girls' playful intentions, Eri's genuine affection warmed his heart. He kissed her forehead and set her down gently.
"Why don't you go finish your puzzle with Kaina?" he suggested. Eri nodded and ran back to Kaina, who gave Izuku a wink.
Izuku stood up, his eyes narrowing slightly as he walked over to where Maki and Momo were sitting. They looked up at him, trying to suppress their giggles.
"Good morning, Maki. Good morning, Momo," he said with a forced calmness.
"Good morning, husband," Maki replied, trying to maintain a straight face.
"Good morning, Izuku," Momo added, her voice wavering with laughter.
Izuku's lips twitched into a small smile. "I see you've all been very busy this morning."
"Just trying to make it special for you," Momo said, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
"Is that so?" Izuku leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a whisper. "And who came up with the idea for Eri to call me 'Daddy'?"
Maki flinched for a second, but she quickly composed herself. "It was a group effort," she said innocently.
Rei, hearing the conversation, walked over with a knowing smile. "We thought it would make you happy."
"Making me happy is one thing, involving Eri in your plan is totally different things. What would you have done if I didn't like it? Eri had tears in her eyes, she was about to cry because of your plan, and would have hated you all for that if I hadn't told her that I liked it, what would you do then?"
Listening to this, the laughter and smug smile vanished from all of their faces, replaced with a look of horror, as they would have hated it if Eri was angry with them.
"We just wanted to surprise you and make you happy," said the girls with a sad look on their faces.
Izuku looked at each of them, his frustration melting away as he saw the genuine affection in their eyes. He sighed, shaking his head. "You all are something else.
You wanted to make me happy, but you didn't take Eri's feelings into account, my happiness shouldn't come at the expense of any of yours' sadness including Eri. My feelings or love towards any of you won't change based on the way you address me, especially Eri.
I love her dearly, it doesn't matter whether she calls me big brother, Izuku or daddy, don't force her to say something, or make her address me in some intimate way which she isn't doing so willingly.
She'll do so out of her own accord if she feels like, just like how she started calling Fuyumi and Kaina mom, otherwise you'll just make Eri hate you. Rei, you and Fuyumi know better than anyone else what happens when you are forced to do something you aren't willing to do."
Listening to this the girls sadness increased, look of guilt on their face, especially Rei and Fuyumi, as they knew well what Izuku was implying, as none of them could imagine Eri hating them for being used as a scapegoat for their own antics.
All the girls approached Izuku surrounding him as they said, "We are sorry, we were so engrossed in our happiness and wanting to make you feel happy that we totally forgot about Eri's own feelings, you are right, it would have been very bad if she hated me for some stupid reason."
The girls wrapped their arms around Izuku from behind. "We love you, Izuku. We just wanted to show you in our own way, and thank you for making us realise our mistake, we can bear anything but not Eri getting angry with us."
Izuku turned to face the girls, placing a soft kiss on each of their foreheads. "I love you all too. Make sure to apologise to her,"
Rei, Maki, Momo, and Kaina gathered around, each taking a turn to embrace Izuku intimately.
Izuku felt a warmth spread through his heart as the girls embraced him, why wouldn't it, they are all his fianacès now. The atmosphere was thick with genuine affection and a shared sense of understanding. He pulled back slightly to look at each of them, his eyes reflecting the depth of his feelings.
"Thank you for understanding," he said softly, his voice filled with love. "Let's make sure we always think of each other's feelings, especially Eri's."
The girls nodded, their faces brightening with renewed determination. They all turned towards Eri, who was still happily engaged with her puzzle, oblivious to the earlier tension.
Rei approached her first, kneeling down and gently touching her shoulder. "Eri, sweetie, we have something to say."
Eri looked up, her big eyes curious. "Yes, Mother Rei?"
Maki joined Rei, sitting cross-legged beside Eri. "We're really sorry if we made you feel pressured to call Izuku 'Daddy'. We just wanted to surprise him, but we didn't think about how it might make you feel."
Momo added, her voice soft and sincere, "We never want to make you do something you're not comfortable with. You can call Izuku whatever you feel is right for you."
Eri looked at them, her face thoughtful. Then she smiled brightly. "It's okay. I like calling him Daddy. It makes me happy, too."
The girls exchanged relieved smiles, their hearts lightened by Eri's words. Fuyumi pulled Eri into a gentle hug. "Thank you for understanding, Eri. We love you very much."
Kaina ruffled Eri's hair affectionately. "You're a very special part of our family, and we always want you to feel happy and safe."
Izuku watched the scene unfold, his heart swelling with pride and love for these incredible women and Eri. He felt a profound sense of gratitude for the family they had become.
As they all gathered around the table for breakfast, the atmosphere was filled with a sense of unity and warmth. The food was delicious, but it was the company that made the meal truly special.
After breakfast, they all settled in the living room, enjoying the peaceful morning together. Eri cuddled up next to Izuku, her head resting on his shoulder.
"I love you, Daddy," she said softly, her voice filled with contentment.
Izuku kissed the top of her head. "I love you too, Eri."
The girls gathered around, their expressions reflecting the deep bond they all shared. They knew that, despite the playful teasing and occasional misunderstandings, their love for each other was unwavering.
Rei leaned against Izuku, her hand resting on his arm. "This is what happiness feels like," she murmured.
Fuyumi smiled, her eyes shining with emotion. "Yes, it is."
Maki, Momo, and Kaina nodded in agreement, their hearts full. They all knew that whatever challenges lay ahead, they would face them together, bound by their love for one another.
Izuku looked around at his family, feeling a sense of fulfilment he had never known before. He knew that, no matter what, they would always have each other. And that was more than enough. As he would make sure to protect all of them.
