Metal Lord: Murder Drones

I was looking at Uzi as she inspects around the corpse house when suddenly N woke up startled before falling to the ground. Which indicated to me that he has woken up from his nightmare from the manor. As this happened Uzi is inspecting her new finding, a symbol consisting of a skull with a cap and wings. Uzi stares at her reflection in a mirror, which breaks as a familiar symbol flashes on her visor for a split second. "That's weird and concerning" V says sarcastically to Uzi. "Bite me! This is probably you weirdo's fault!" Uzi says in an aggravated voice. "I've never seen that symbol before. Wanna do an autopsy to find out?" V says in a psychotic tone. After that N stands next to Uzi "What'd you find?" N says to Uzi. "Did you know that was a pilot hat?" Uzi says to N. "I was the pilot? That's awesome! I crashed and ruined everything... Spaceship Pilot, Origin Story" N says to V while finger gunning her. V replies kindly with a hiss, then calms herself by blowing bubbles out of a bubble blower. I couldn't help but roll my eyes and reply with "Calm down you psychotic cat, honestly you act like an overweighted cat and it's owner decided to pick it up" I said to her. V narrows her eyes at me, without speaking she simply blow her bubbles into my visors. While it doesn't hurt or anything, it's still annoying since all those bubbles are covering my visor messing with my vision. I moved a little further away from her to wipe off my visor so I can see clearly. I grumble to myself about her being a psychotic cat. V just smiles with a smug look knowing she won a small victory against me. I don't know how she could be so annoying yet oddly fun to be around. Don't get me wrong, she's most certainly annoying me. But it's that type of annoyance you can't help but look back with fond memories knowing it will be a funny topic to talk about later. But for right now, N has something on his mind "...Speaking of piloting to Earth, we sure 'murder all humans' is, uh, morality?" N asks Uzi. "The humans sent you without a communication relay and reformatted your memories to soup" Uzi says says to N, N with nothing to say just allows her to continue her rant. "Covering their tracks means their past negotiating. Not like tried negotiating with my mom..." Uzi says as she crushes her wrench in her hand. I don't know why I feel the way that I do, put I have this urge to comfort Uzi. It isn't a romance that I feel towards Uzi but it isn't a friendly one either. So I gently put a hand on her shoulder with a gentle squeeze to comfort her. I'm not good with words but I hope this conveys what I wish to say. Uzi turned to look at my hand with narrowed eyes at first, but then her eyes on her visor softens a bit after seemingly understanding my wordless action. V however was not as sympathetic as me "Or you missed the negotiations! The humans programmed us to solve a problem. Where's proof of your backstory? The one where your kind's so conveniently innocent?" V chuckles at Uzi as Uzi looks at her wearily at first but narrows her eyes at V not wanting to back down form their stare-off. N, not wanting another fight to break out, gently pulls Uzi out of the way. "J was getting orders from someone. If not the company through that relay, then, uh, who? And how?" N says logically to Uzi. Uzi understanding this info couldn't help but pout as she lays her back against N "Quit complicating my murder plan" Uzi mutters loud enough for us to hear. N being the sunshine he is tries to comfort Uzi by patting her head but Uzi merely brushes his hand away. 

After a while at the corpse house I merely sit right next to V as N and Uzi talk to each other. As those two talk to each other I decided to converse with V. "So Psycho Cat, why haven't you tried to kill us yet" I asked her. V raises a digital eyebrow as she ceased from blowing her bubbles. "What makes you think I can?" she asked me. "You maybe chained down but you can still change to use your lasers and guns" I say to her. She simply rolls her eyes "While I'm confident I can kill that little gremlin that N seems so attached to. However the real problem is you and N" she says with an annoyed voice. "N, while an idiot, is no push over. My advantage with him though is that he's too kind hearted with me and most likely will only aim to incapacitate me at best while I'll have no problem with cutting his head off" she says. "But the final nail in the coffin is you. While I can't gauge your level of threat however what I know so far of you is that you're very durable and seemingly can also repair yourself like me and N. So having both you and N teaming up on me would eventually overwhelm me" she explains. You know for a psycho she can at least understand her position. "So what are you anyways?" V asks me. "What?" I asked her back as I wasn't prepared for her to question me. "What are you? You're obviously not a Worker Drone but you're definitely not a Disassembly Drone. So what are you?" she questions me. I answered honestly "I don't know what I am. It wasn't that long ago when I was just activated" I said, obviously I'm a Metal Sonic variation however what I am supposed to be in this world I have no idea. And that's something I need to ponder on. It seems as I was right when I said that my abilities here might be different than the original Metal Sonic. So far I bare abilities that allows my body to mold into a liquid metal that allows me to take whatever shape I desire sort of like Neo Metal Sonic. I also seem to be able to copy the data of others which is how I developed wings. I copied the data of J's wings and applied it to myself, and not only did I get wings but it actually adjusted the wings to suit my needs which is why my wings were slightly different from J's. However sadly another discovery was made, and that is that I most likely won't wield Chaos powers or anything like that. However what I do have is a powerful turbine in my chest. I hadn't used this yet but I'm sure once I learn to control it I'll be the fastest drone alive. As I thought this V comments "Well for a drone that only recently activated you act pretty mature" she says. I merely shrugged my shoulders at her comment. Then we heard Uzi yell out "Oh, I'm sweaty! Who programmed that?!" Uzi says disgusted. "You good, Uzi?" N asks Uzi as Uzi dramatically says "I'm good! Better than good! I am God!" That's when I commented. "Hey God can you grow a few inches" I said giving her a friendly jab. Uzi was about to retort with narrowed eyes only to pause when she sees that Thad has shown up. She chuckles nervously as she says "Hi, hi, Thad" as Thad the good friend he is hands Uzi her railgun. "Thank you" she says to Thad as she still got feelings for Thad, if I could I would be smiling knowing she'll end up with Mr. Sunshine. " Of course, 'Zi! N&M's, and Rockstar. You saved my life. I don't think the colony is even serious about all this banishment stuff, more just confused. Especially with the fact-" Thad begins to say but later was interrupted by Uzi "I'm too rogue to re-enter society now? I can never return..." she says dramatically. "...Recent disappearances, and your murder friend's corpse. When I went to grab your gun, it kind of looked like it... crawled away...?" Thad finishes as he sounded creeped out by what he said. "We can return a little..." Uzi says after she processed Thad's words. "Before we go, I would suggest we bring V with us" I said to Uzi. Uzi obviously not happy with that idea. "No way! why would should we bring her with us" Uzi says as she points points at V, V not helping her case smiles sadistically as she says "Oh don't worry, I won't kill you . . . yet". I rolled my eyes "Well for one she knows J the most. With her help she might be able to help us to take down J" I said to Uzi, while I wasn't technically lying. However obviously what we will run into will not be J but rather the solver that is now in control of J's mangled body. "But most importantly we'll be able to keep an eye on V, while I don't doubt the chains, I rather to have her in my sight" I said. However the real reason why I want V with us is to build a relationship with her early on. At the end of the series V shown to be an alright character who secretly cares. So having her apart of the group early on might help for character development. Uzi still not thrilled at the idea but gives out a loud groan "Fine, but you are responsible for her. If she eats a single drone I swear I'll blast both of you with my railgun. got it". I nodded "Awww, you want me to tag along. Am I that cute" she says to me. I raised a digital eyebrow as I looked at her and said "Well you are cute, at least when you're not trying to kill me" I said to her. V momentarily froze for second before she chuckles "Well aren't you straight forward" she said teasingly as I roll my eyes as I look at Uzi "Well let's go" I said.

Uzi, N, V, Thad, and I head back to the colony. A worker opens a door a little bit to see who arrived. "Welcome back, Thad!" The Worker Drone named Ron said before noticing Uzi "Uh, wait, isn't she grounded or something?" Ron said genuinely confused. "Ugh, banished! Has my dad been saying I'm grounded?" Uzi said annoyed. Ron then notices N and V "Genocidal Robots?" he said. N quietly walks up and hands Ron a crayon drawing to show how super very, very sorry he is for all the murders he committed. "..Oh, alright, just don't do it again. Get in here, ya goobs!" Ron said as he placed the drawing on the door. While N was happy V on the other hand looked like she was about to blow. "All those times, all those years trying to get in the damn bunker" she says with her hands over her visor as if she couldn't believe what she was seeing "It was that easy". She said the last part whispering loudly in fuming anger. I put my hand on her shoulder "calm it, remember if you act up I'll tie you back down in chains" I said warningly. She just turned her head away as she pouts as she mutters to herself "I wasn't going to do anything". With that being said they walked inside the bunker and begins investigating.

We walked into the bunker and eventually come across the crime scene. "Yeah, where's Khan? Because this looks, ahaha, ugh, non-ideal" says the random Worker Drone. I know that all the Drones that is working on the "crime scene" is just holograms created by the solver. The only one that is real is Sarah. Who in cannon was supposed to be killed off by the solver that possesses J's body. "Parent-Teacher Conference. Something about his daughter being more important than building a door in this hallway. Ugh, kind of cringe" Sarah says. "Ew. Oh, give me a minute... Ah, yep, okay, almost threw up" Says the random Worker Drone. Uzi hearing their conversation had mixed emotions. On one hand she's secretly happy that Khan was for once choosing her over doors, but on the other hand she's still rightfully upset that her father still abandoned her to die. N seeing Uzi's reaction to the conversation asked her "You good"? Of course Uzi being Uzi who doesn't like showing any vulnerability says "I'm good. Stop asking!" She pushes N away and motions for all of us to follow her while sneaking past the investigators. While they go ahead I decided to hang back for a bit as I tapped Sarah on the shoulder. "Hey you should go and get some rest" I said to her. Sarah looking confused "And why should I go take a break, I can't leave these idiots by themselves". "Normally I would agree but those idiots are already gone" I said as I noticed that the holograms of those random Worker Drones are gone. "What!!!" She says as she looks around as she then growls "Fine if those assholes wanna leave me to do the work fine then I'm gonna take a break too". she grumbles as she stomps away. Good, in the cannon she was meant to die and while I don't find her personality appealing she doesn't deserve to die. I quickly ran towards the direction that Uzi and the rest were at knowing that the solver was most likely watching me now since I disrupt it's meal.

As I ran where Uzi, N, and a grumbling V is at I see them looking at the Absolute Solver sign. "You guys... do that often?" Uzi asked N and V. "No not really/ Haha, no. I'm very concerned, but also pretty frightened a little bit" N and V said at the same time. "Hey, Uzi! What's this thing?" Thad asked while pointing at the Absolute Solver sign. "Hey, isn't that your special eye?" N asked Uzi. "Don't call it that! "Absolute Solver"? "Reboot"? Does this have something to do with how you grew your head back?" Uzi asked N and V. V just shrugs as she answers "Don't know, never thought about or asked for it". N also answers in a more uncomfortable tone "Hehe. I actively avoid unpacking how that works". I walked up behind them as V asked "where have you been?" with narrowed eye. "Just making sure we weren't followed" I answered back in my typical emotionless voice. V didn't looked all that convinced but let it go for now. "So what did I miss" I asked. That's when Uzi continues her thoughts. "New material can't be pulled from thin air. If the wound is severe enough, this "Solver" might be some sort of auto run program to collect more matte-" Uzi was interrupted by N covering her mouth looking scared. They hear something coming towards them... A human hand. It latches itself onto Thad's leg as they look up to see what the hand is attached to. Not able to see much in pitch black, N fires his missile cannon. While it didn't reveal it entirely it was enough to illuminate the abomination that crawls on the ceiling. I know I've seen it behind a screen before but seeing this thing in real life is just disturbing. It may appear mostly metal but you can also make out organic matter mixed into the metal. Suddenly it begins pulling Thad up. Suddenly, a shuriken flies in and slices the cable apart, freeing Thad. He looks back to see that N was the one who unleashed the shuriken. "I want a freaking ninja star!" Uzi says like a little kid. Suddenly she and N get thrown against a wall as one of the Solver's claws grabs Thad and leaves. I wonder . . .

God I love this ability, while I might not be exactly built like Neo Metal. However I do have have his ability to replicate other abilities. I then formed ninja stars into my hands as I followed Thad with V in tow. "What is that thing? It looks like J but it isn't anything like J" V asked in a mix of worry and frustration. "I don't know. However whatever that thing is it's no longer J" I said. We tried to look for Thad but can't find him. Not long after we see N and Uzi on the other side of the room. "Have you two seen Thad?" I asked the two "No net yet/ Sorry but no" Uzi and N said at the same time. Just as they said that an obvious hologram of Thad have appeared in the middle. "Yes, and hello. It's me, Tad. Um, can I get a location? ...I heard dentist's office! I'm Thad at the dentist office. Come over here for your... teeth!" says the horrible acted hologram of Thad. "Predictably terrible work, J. Why do you look so-" before Uzi could finish her sentence N replies with "Great! You look great, J!". It was both funny and sad that N's instant response to J. "No, no, wait, guys, it's really me! Is that a-" the hologram begins to say but then the voice glitches to become more feminine "freaking ninja star?" It finishes. N unleashes his shuriken as Uzi kicks it. It flies upwards to bring down the real Thad as the hologram disappears. Thad then pushes himself off the floor "Life savers again. Thanks! Super invited to my shindig next weekend. Cool kids only" he says as he runs off. After he said that N and Uzi squeals in excitement however. However V was not having it "If you two losers are done squealing like dead dolphins. Can we get back to dealing with this eldritch thing?" V said annoyed by their behavior. "We're busy then anyway, so whatever. So lame" says the Absolute Solver possessing over J's body. Before anyone else says anything I threw my ninja stars at the eldritch horror and slash off some limbs. "Ow so inpatient" says the Absolute Solver. "V you can start shooting now" V a little caught off guard by my quick decision starts firing her guns at at the J abomination. "Ow Ow I need those" The Absolute Solver says as a blade slams into my chest and pierces through. "So what are you some sort of a emergency program to fix the body" Uzi yells out to the Absolute Solver. "More like you are our cute puppets. It hurts our feelings you don't remember us" The Absolute Solvers says as it created a hologram of Uzi's mom. "UZI!!! Don't listen to it" I yelled from the wall I'm currently pinned against. "N . . . guys . . . what's with the mom hologram" Uzi asked us and noticed N missing. "Easier to assimilate than explain" Says the Absolute Solver. "Not gonna happen" Says Uzi. "Fair, but poor choice. Now we will have to do something shocking" The Absolute Solver says at it brought down a hologram of Khan. "Whoa, Hey!!!" says Uzi. Then the Absolute Solver ripped the hologram of Khan in half as it went to attack Uzi. Before it could I finally ripped the blade out of my chest and attacked the weird giant centipede and hit it away from Uzi. "Metal!!!" Screamed V. I turned around and see the absolute solver holding V up by its claws as it prepares to rip her apart. I quickly formed my wings onto my back as I quickly flew to her. I used my ninja stars at the claw that holds her and went to catch her. However when I caught her suddenly her voice changed. "Nice catch. . . Idiot" Then she dissipated. She was a hologram. As the hologram faded away a claw appeared in her place and ripped my arm off. I grunted in pain as I hold my stump. Luckily my body is quick to repair and rebuilt my arm back in seconds. "Damn, I actually fell for that" I grunted in surprised. It was a painful reminder that I can't rely solely on my meta knowledge. I have to actually learn to rely on myself and not the story, especially when I decide to throw cannon completely off the rail. 

Then finally I heard the sounds of wings flapping behind me as I turned around and see V. I get my ninja stars ready "Tell something only you would know" I said to V. V just rolls her eyes as she says "Psycho Cat" she said simply. After that I lowered my weapon and sighed in relief "Thank God, we need to destroy this thing" I said. "I agree" V says as she morphed her hand into a gun. I decided to replicate her gun to I had a more deadly far ranged weapon. However instead of my hands turning into a gun, two gun barrels formed on my knuckles. "Why don't you use your lasers more often? Aren't your lasers more deadly than regular guns?" I asked genuinely curious on why she didn't use her lasers more often. She just rolled her eyes like I asked a dumb question "It's true it is more deadly but unlike our other guns it doesn't over heat us when we fire them. So we only use them sparingly. It's why we also never used them to cut into the colony because we would have over heated before we cut through all that thick metal" she explains. That makes a lot of sense on why N and V almost never use such dangerous weapons. As we turn around to face the chaos we see a hologram of N reaching for Uzi's railgun. Before the hologram can grab the railgun I fired at the hologram which dissipated away. V was shocked for a moment before she saw why I fired at what she presumed to be N. Then she starts to fire as well as the real N joins in not long after and fire at the abomination. One of the claws reached out and grabbed N then slammed into Uzi causing her to drop her railgun and damaged it. Suddenly two claws stabbed into me and clutched V then threw us in opposite direction. When it threw V it ended up cutting off her wings and legs. While she can easily regrow her wings and legs, she wouldn't be able to repair herself in time before the railgun blows her up with the eldritch horror. N quickly grabs Uzi and quickly flies off before it could blow. From the distance I need to travel I wouldn't make it in time. I reached out towards her in a desperate attempt. I don't know what else to do, I wanted to save her in time but not sure. My fear and desperation to save her activated something in me.

My hands begins to glow a red aura as V's body begins to float and pulled straight to me. I caught her as she flew into my arms as I hold her bridal style. I formed my wings and flew out as fast as I could as the explosion went off. I pushed as hard as I could as I could feel the searing heat just licking against my metal skin. I pushed harder and harder as I feel something in my chest spin.

Suddenly that spinning grows faster in my chest as everything slows down to my perspective. Even the flames seems to slow down to me. I was now moving so fast the flames were no where near me or V any more. I quickly see Uzi and N standing next to each other. They are both moving very slow to my perspective is I hold V in my arms. I decided to turn off my turbine as everything resume back to normal speed. "What was...? Which parts of that were real...?" Uzi says distraught and confused. We then see a core covered in flesh and crab like legs trying to crawl away. "Sneaky sneaky. Sneaking away. Get snuck upon" Says the not so sneaky core. Then N starts stabbing the core with his nanite tail as it repeats the words "ow" as he stabs it repeatedly until it turns into a miniature black hole and floats off. Hearing a commotion heading their way, N tries to help Uzi to her feet, but she resists in fear. "What are you things?" Uzi asked fearfully. Hurt by her newfound distrust in him, N flees the scene as a search party led by Khan shows up. "Uzi?" Khan asked as Uzi staggers towards him. "What are you doin-" before Khan can finish Uzi, without word, hugs her father, who silently returns the embrace. He gestures for his men to scour the area. Khan looks up and sees N, who makes his escape. I sighed and looked towards V. "Don't ask me how I know but I know you secretly care about N. If you want, think of it as a favor when I ask you to comfort the metal golden retriever". V looking like she was about to deny stopped as she sighs "Sure fine, I'll comfort the big idiot. What will you do?" She asked. "I'll comfort Uzi, however knowing her she won't need much comforting. She'll be back to her normal self in no time". She scoffs a bit and rolls her eyes as she begins to walk away but stops as she turns her head towards me as she spoke surprisingly softly "Thanks for saving me by the way". She looked vulnerable for a moment before she flew off to head back to the Corpse House. I sighed to myself as I looked towards a confused and scared Uzi from a distance. "I wish I could do more for these guys. They aren't just characters in a short series made on YouTube. They are real and this is my new reality, it's just so hard. I wish I could do more to help them. But even if I could defeat Cyn all on my own, it wouldn't guarantee the union of Uzi and N. They also need to learn the secrets of the pass naturally to keep everyone together. As it is within the fires of despair were they forged into a family. But that doesn't mean I can't change some minor things. I just hope I can help make this world a better place".
