Marvel Ultimate Gacha

Chapter 72: Bonnie

"When will she show up?" Camille asked, glancing at her phone with a hint of impatience.

Michael shrugged casually. "Not sure," he said.

He gestured toward the bar. "This Grill is our best bet to find her—or we can also get her real address, if she don't show up."

Camille nodded thoughtfully. They'd come to the Grill hoping to meet Bonnie, a local witch who might be able to help them.

After about thirty minutes, Michael's eyes shifted to the door. "She's here," he said, his voice low.

Camille followed his gaze to see Bonnie stepping inside. The witch walked up to the bar, ordered a drink, and simply sat at the stool, her tension evident in the way her eyes darted around.

Michael stood up, thinking, 'Considering this is during the Season One finale timeline, she's probably on edge with all the vampires and chaos in town.'

He nudged her lightly. "Go talk to her."

Camille took a deep breath and approached Bonnie, who sat sipping her drink with a guarded posture.

"Hi, you're Bonnie, right?" Camille asked with a friendly smile.

Bonnie's eyes narrowed slightly as she looked up. "Who are you, and how do you know my name?" she replied cautiously.

Camille raised her hands in a gesture of peace. "We need to talk privately. It's about vampires—if you catch my drift," she said, trying to sound reassuring.

Bonnie's expression hardened as she studied Camille.

"I'm not here to cause trouble," Camille added quickly, glancing briefly at Michael. "It's just… my boyfriend is a warlock, and he's in serious trouble. We need a witch's help."

Bonnie raised a skeptical eyebrow. "A warlock, huh? And what kind of trouble are we talking about?"

"Let's talk somewhere quieter," Camille suggested.

After a moment, Bonnie nodded and led her out of the Grill to her house. Unseen, Michael followed them silently in his spirit form.

At Bonnie's door, she turned to Camille, who lingered on the doorstep.

"Aren't you coming in?" Bonnie asked.

Camille hesitated, giving her a pointed look. "You have to invite me in first."

Bonnie's expression shifted to one of curiosity. "So, you can't come in without an invitation?"

"Of course not," Camille replied matter-of-factly. "I'm a vampire."

Bonnie's eyes narrowed. "You're a what?"

Camille looked momentarily surprised. "You didn't know that?"

Bonnie sighed, crossing her arms. "Alright, fine. Tell me about your warlock boyfriend and why he's in trouble."

Camille stepped back slightly and began explaining. "He was trying to access the Other Side without dying, but something went wrong. He ended up trapping himself there—body and all. Now, he can't return because he's cut off from his magic, which he needs to come back. And since he's stuck on the Spirit Plane, there's no way for him to access it."

Bonnie nodded slowly, her expression a mix of confusion and caution. "How can I know you are not lying? you are an vampire!"

'ahh, yes right now she didn't like vampires at first' Michael thought as he said to Camille " tell her, I will teach her a spell" he said as Camille said to Bonnie " my boyfriend said he will teach you a spell" She said as Bonnie looked at Camile.

"You can talk to him?" Bonnie asked, her brows furrowed in curiosity.

Camille nodded. "Yes, he's still visible to me—kind of like we're connected," she explained.

Bonnie tilted her head, a small smile forming on her lips. "That's… kind of romantic," she remarked.

Camille smiled in return and nodded.

"Come in," Bonnie said, stepping aside.

Camille didn't hesitate, walking through the door now that she'd been invited.

They sat on the sofa as Bonnie pulled out her grimoire and began flipping through its pages, scanning for anything that might help. Michael didn't interrupt her, even though he already knew she wouldn't find a solution. The system had already provided him with the method to escape the Spirit Plane, but he chose to let Bonnie do her thing.

After a few moments, Bonnie closed the book and sighed. "I didn't find anything that can help your boyfriend," she admitted, her tone apologetic.

Michael, still invisible, urged Camille to speak. "Tell her," he said, his voice firm yet calm. "We just need to send someone there—balance the scales, like how nature intended. One in, one out."

Camille nodded and relayed his words to Bonnie.

Bonnie's eyes narrowed, her expression shifting to suspicion. "So, you're saying you'll kill someone to let your boyfriend come back? Is that where your morals stand?" she asked pointedly.

Camille shook her head firmly. "No. Not just anyone," she clarified. "But a murderer—someone who's already taken lives. Trust me, not all vampires are good."

" that I know" Bonnie nodded her head as she looked at Camille, " So, get one murderer vampire then we will get your boyfriend out"

Camille nodded. "Yeah, so are there any around here?" she asked.

Bonnie nodded in response. "As a matter of fact, there are—quite a few, actually," she said. "About 50 years old tomb, a tomb full of vampires was opened. Most of them escaped and have been wreaking havoc ever since. Those who know about it are on edge, but the police are trying to keep it under wraps."

Camille nodded again, determination in her eyes. "Let's go and get one, then," she said.

Bonnie raised an eyebrow. "How old are you?" she asked cautiously.

"A baby vampire, I guess you could say—just a week old," Camille admitted with a small shrug.

Bonnie's eyes widened slightly. "You've only just turned into a vampire?" she asked, incredulous.

Camille nodded, offering a faint smile. "Yep, still figuring it all out."

"How did…" Michael trailed off, realizing the girls were now fully engrossed in their conversation. Deciding not to interrupt, he left them and started searching the town for the vampire hideout.

He knew there were vampires nearby, possibly close to the outskirts of town. Moving quickly and casually, Michael went from one area to another, scanning for any signs of their presence.

After several hours of searching, he finally discovered them in one house. It was situated somewhat outside the town, near Mystic Falls.
