Marvel: Transmigrated with Travelling Frog?!

Chapter 254: Chapter 254: Wanda and the Mind Stone

Sensing Quicksilver's presence, Alan chose not to advance. Instead, he stood in place, waiting to see what Quicksilver's next move would be.

"You're Pietro Django Maximoff, right? And you have a sister named Wanda," Alan suddenly said.

The speedster circling around him came to an abrupt halt, appearing directly in front of Alan.

"Who are you? How do you know about me?" Quicksilver demanded.

Alan chuckled softly. He knew far more than just that—like how Wanda was an Omega-level mutant, and how the experiments conducted by Strucker had granted the siblings their powers.

Of course, Alan couldn't tell him any of this directly.

Suspicious, Quicksilver darted away and disappeared, only to reappear moments later, landing a punch on Alan. In the comic universe, Quicksilver might have been a much tougher opponent, but Alan faced the nerfed version from the cinematic universe.

Alan stood firm. Wearing the Emperor Armor, he didn't even flinch. Another unseen punch landed, but Alan remained motionless, not even bothering to dodge.

Quicksilver, hidden in the space between moments, widened his eyes in disbelief.

"Now you know," Alan said calmly. "Your attacks are useless against me. I'd guess that by now, Strucker has already destroyed the data. But I'm not here for that data."

Quicksilver reappeared. "Then what do you want?"

"I want vibranium—all of the vibranium in Sokovia," Alan replied slowly.

His words, transmitted through Quicksilver's earpiece, reached Strucker's ears. Only then did Strucker understand why the Emperor had come. Previously, he had assumed Alan was acting on the Avengers' orders.

"Vibranium, huh? That's not impossible," Strucker muttered to himself, weighing the pros and cons. "But it would delay our plans."

Meanwhile, outside the base, Quicksilver disappeared once more. When he reappeared, Alan was covered in explosives.

Since his punches were ineffective, Quicksilver decided to blow Alan up.

Alan raised an eyebrow in mild surprise as Quicksilver held up the detonator.

"Goodbye," Quicksilver said.

One second... two seconds... Nothing happened.

Quicksilver turned to look back, only to see Wanda in the distance, her hands raised. A crimson glow enveloped Alan, disintegrating all the explosives.

"What are you doing, Wanda? The Emperor is our enemy!" Quicksilver yelled.

The Scarlet Witch seemed momentarily dazed, staring at her hands in disbelief. She had just saved Alan.

Moments earlier, when Quicksilver was about to trigger the explosives, Wanda had suddenly sensed a warm, familiar energy emanating from Alan. The presence felt comforting and even enhanced her powers, compelling her to protect him instinctively.

"Wanda," Alan said, looking at the woman before him. Her crimson coat and fiery red hair made her resemble a devil from a mural, tempting the world.

At the same time, he realized why Wanda had acted the way she did—it was the influence of the Mind Stone.

Wanda already had innate abilities to manipulate minds and probabilities, but it was her exposure to the Mind Stone that had awakened her latent Chaos Magic.

Alan frowned as a sense of danger crept into his heart.

The Mind Stone was in his possession, yet his actions in Sokovia had altered the timeline, causing Wanda to encounter the Mind Stone earlier than she should have.

This was bad—she was about to awaken!

Without hesitation, Alan took to the sky, intending to leave before Wanda's awakening was complete.

But just as he ascended, a surge of crimson energy erupted around Wanda, forming a vast, chaotic aura.
