Marvel: Transmigrated with Travelling Frog?!

Chapter 249: Chapter 249: The Insight Program is Activated

With a loud clang, Captain America landed heavily on the helicarrier. He clung to the door and pushed it open with all his strength.

As he entered, he immediately crouched down. Ahead of him in the corridor, a group of Hydra soldiers stood guard. Captain America quickly assessed the situation: three soldiers, spaced five meters apart, leaving no gaps in their line of sight.

Carefully, he strapped his shield onto his back and grabbed the overhead cargo racks, silently maneuvering above them.

His movements were precise and agile. Slowly, he approached the soldiers from above. Then, in one swift motion, he dropped down, taking them out before they could react—one punch, one kick, one strike. All three were down.

Just as he thought the way forward was clear, the alarm was triggered. These weren't ordinary Hydra soldiers; those stationed on the helicarrier with Bucky were elite squad leaders and spies.

The red alarm lights began flashing, and Captain America wiped the sweat from his face. He had already fought Batroc and battled a swarm of Lizardmen earlier—his exhaustion was beginning to show.

The blaring alarms echoed throughout the helicarrier. Bucky, watching the surveillance feed, spotted Captain America and ordered the remaining Hydra soldiers to intercept him at the hatch.

Countless Hydra soldiers surged toward Captain America. They had no idea that Pierce was already dead and that Hydra's main combat force had been annihilated, leaving only their unit intact.

The soldiers charged at Captain America with precision, though they avoided using firearms due to the helicarrier's sensitive equipment. Armed with knives and batons, they attacked him head-on.

This close-quarters combat played right into Captain America's strengths. Raising his shield, he knocked out enemies left and right, picking up a baton to strike at the nearest opponent.

One by one, the Hydra soldiers fell to Captain America's strikes and kicks. In hand-to-hand combat, none of them were his match.

Meanwhile, the helicarrier reached its designated altitude. Bucky inserted a USB drive into the console. The screen lit up with Hydra's logo, followed by streams of data being uploaded.

Images of Tony Stark, Hawkeye, and other Avengers flashed across the screen, along with many former S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and unfamiliar faces.

The helicarrier analyzed their locations and profiles, marking each target for elimination. Anyone deemed a threat to Hydra was now locked onto by the helicarrier's systems.

Bucky stood silently, waiting for the analysis to complete.

By this time, Captain America had defeated the last of the soldiers around him. He sprinted toward the control room and kicked open the door, spotting Bucky standing there, his back turned.

"Bucky! Is it really you? Or are you still the Winter Soldier?"

Captain America's voice trembled as he spoke, uncertain if the man before him was his old friend or Hydra's unfeeling killing machine.

Bucky slowly turned around, his expression faintly surprised to see Captain America.

"Hail Hydra," he muttered before launching a punch.

The mechanical arm's force sent Captain America flying several meters back. Watching this, Captain America's heart sank.

The man before him was no longer his friend, his ally. He was a puppet of Hydra.

Captain America stood up straight. At this point, he realized there was no saving Bucky anymore.
