Marvel: Peter's Second Chance

Peter's POV:

Since I haven't yet seen how good the dojo is, Minato suggested that two students volunteer and have a spar to show what they have learnt in the dojo. Marcus and Jordan volunteered themselves. Camie who was near me started to talk saying, " Jordan has been studying in this dojo for a year. Marcus on the other hand, only joined this dojo last month. Jordan is a karate practitioner while Marcus is taking boxing classes. Master says that both are at the intermediate level but, Jordan has yet to receive his blue belt."

And then both of them stood on the mat floor and took their fighting stances. A few seconds passed without anybody moving and then, Jordan moved with precision, executing sharp, controlled strikes and blocks, his movements fluid yet deliberate. He showcased a solid understanding of stances and transitions, delivering a well-timed roundhouse kick and a crisp front punch, though with occasional hesitations that hinted at ongoing refinement.

Meanwhile, the, Marcus displayed strong footwork and rhythm, weaving and bobbing to evade, Jordan while landing a series of jabs, hooks, and uppercuts with consistent form. His combinations were effective, though still lacking the speed and power of an advanced practitioner. Both students exhibited confidence and competence, reflecting hours of dedicated practice.

They both ended the spar shortly. If I was doubting my choice to join this dojo, all that hesitation disappeared after seeing this spar. I now knew that, I would be in capable hands if, I joined this dojo. Without hesitation, I asked , Minato to sign me up for MMA and capoeira classes. I also requested to be taught sojutsu as my choice of weapon based fighting style. I would attend the dojo three times a week. I chose Monday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings for my training.

With the form filled out, I left the dojo filled with happiness. By the time, I had reached home it was dark. Once inside, I greeted Aunt May and we both discussed about how our day went. Then we had dinner and went for our respective rooms. Once I was on my bed, my thoughts began to drift towards my weaknesses. Sure, I may be stronger than a lot of Peter Parkers before the spider bite but, I'll not be able to reach the levels of superhumans.

As, I thought about it, I was stuck by an insane idea. The "Oz Serum" was the source of power for one, Norman Osborne. If I somehow manage to get my hands on the serum, I might be able to fix it, because unlike the "Lizard Serum" the O.S(Oz Serum) did not depend on animal DNA. Plus the O.S was just a failed version of the Super Soldier Serum and if that could be created why couldn't the O.S be fixed?

Seeing as Ghost Spider, Green Goblin, Rhino and the "Vulture" were a thing already, it's safe to assume that many other heroes and villains must have gone through their origin story or were going through it atleast. Well with an idea for how to gain atleast some power, I can focus on the other problem that I have. Cash! Seriously why is every Peter Parker so poor. I had the idea to just plagiarise the novels and animes from my previous life but a little bit of googling made me throw the idea into a trashcan and burn it.

This world already had all of them. So this left me with the ideas of inventions, investment and finally entertainment. I can't make any inventions yet because I didn't have the funds for it. Investment is also out because one small mistake and I'll lose everything and I don't have the needed cash to invest in big companies like "Stark Industries", "Oscorp", etc. This only left me with the choice of entertainment but novels and animes were out so I could either become a Content creator or something.

I could create a small drone to capture footage with some scrap. I remember in one universe where Peter Parker wasn't bitten, he used drones to capture battle footage and was also called as "Hyperion's Best Friend". Now with that out of the way, I have to choose what type of videos I should make. Then the thought hit me. Parkour! A lot of people loved to watch others fail or do something that they cannot do. This would also be good training for the future.

I can just program the drone to follow me and I'll get my video. I can also post gaming videos and talk about heroes. "Hmmm??? What should my gamer and youtuber name should be? So many options but so little ideas." Peter thought about it for a few hours and finally he settled on the name, "PunkBeat". With all his plans decided, Peter drifted into the world of dreams unaware about someone's thoughts regarding him.

No One's POV:

Meanwhile somewhere in Forest Hills we see a young blonde teen girl in a white, black and pink colored spandex sitting on a buildings rooftop thinking about her crush/best friend, Peter Parker. This was none other than Gwen Stacy, a.k.a, Ghost Spider. She wanted to call, Peter to hang out with later but her internship with Dr. Connor's and her nightly activities as Ghost Spider kept her busy.

Gwen did not know that her world was going to be flipped upside down even more once she meets Peter again but for now she will continue being the friendly neighborhood "Ghost Spider". Meanwhile Peter was having some fun dreams about becoming a superhero and getting a harem. While Peter and Gwen were blissfully unaware, a hidden enemy was lurking in the shadows.

A doctor turned into a monster. Hunting for preys and feeding on their flesh. Now he has set his sights upon the arachnid themed heroine. The wheels of fate were set on motion. Now all anyone could do is watch how the events played out. Afterall the universe had a funny way of correcting it's mistakes. Afterall, as Peter always says, there's no rest for the wicked.
