Perseus POV-

I looked around and asked, '' So how are we going to do this. Are you going to put some crown on my head or something?''

Njord replied,'' If we were doing this is Vanaheim then you have to take a oath in front of the crown to Uphold peace and justice in Nine Kingdoms. But with the given status of Vanaheim we will do it in front of Yggdrasil.''

We noded our head and then move to that room. After Father opened the door. We all went in. Njord went ahead and stands next to the branch of Yggdrasil. And then said,'' PERSEUS ODINFRIGGASON come and kneel before me.''

I looked at my mother. After she gave permission I went and knelt before him. He then said, ''PERSEUS ODINFRIGGASON DO YOU TAKE AN OATH TO PROTECT THE NINE REALMS WITH ALL YOUR POWER.''

I REPLIED,'' I DO.''

He then said, ''PERSEUS ODINFRIGGASON DO YOU TAKE AN OATH TO CREATE PEACE IN THE NINE REALMS WITH ALL YOUR POWER.''

I REPLIED,'' I DO.''

He then said, ''PERSEUS ODINFRIGGASON DO YOU TAKE AN OATH TO PROTECT THE INNOCENT IN THE NINE REALMS WITH ALL YOUR POWER.''

I REPLIED,'' I DO.''

He then said,'' So I NJORD THE KING OF VANAHEIM DECLARE YOU PERSEUS ODINFRIGGASON THE NEW KING OF VANAHEIM.''

Then I felt a connection to something. When I try to focus on that connection. I felt an entire realm just like Asgard a floating land but empty. There is nothing on that land. No life. No light. No breath just Darkness.

When I came back to my senses and Iook up to Njord and he said,'' Did you felt it. That was your connection to the Vanaheim. Now that the ceremony is over. I want to spend my last moment with my wife and daughters. ''

Then He and his family left to spent sometime with each other. My father came to me and said,'' Perseus my son, You are a king now. You will have many responsibilities. But remember this always do what's right.''

I nod my head and asked,'' Father is there really no way to save him.''

He said, '' I really wish there was any my son. He is one of the last friends I have. It pains me more than I can say my child. You remember this keep the people you love close to you. If sometimes you have to sacrifice something or bend your pride to be with them do so.

And I can assure you my child. This is one of the most difficult thing for a God. We God are very prideful beings. Never let your pride cloud your eyes my son. Because when you will look back you will find nothing more than regrets. I am telling you from experience. ''

I looked into his eyes and I know he is telling everything from his heart. He is truly sad that he is incapable of doing anything for his friend. All I am seeing right now is a man who is carrying the burden of his past.

I truly want to help him and one day I will. It doesn't matter what I will do. But I will make sure that Ragnarok will not come. I will make this family whole. I will give my father and mother a happy life.

Loki came to my side. Loki and I are close. I knew from the movie that he thought he was neglected. That's why I make sure to spend more time with him. He and mother are the one who thought me magic. He said,'' Congratulations Perseus. You became a King. So now what will you do.''

I thought for a while and said,'' There are many things I want to do. But for now I just want that Njord and his family will find peace.''

Thor came and said,'' We all do Little brother.''

Father said ,'' It's time my children. Let's go and wish him farewell. ''

We all went there. We saw Skadi crying on Njord shoulder. And all three of his daughter hugging him. Then he gave Skadi a kiss said something to his daughter and looked towards us. He smiled at father and then his eyes moved towards me. He nods his head. And then his entire body turned into golden light and moved towards sky.

I wanted to go to Anna and zoe and comfort them but I know right now is a family time. So all the Gods behind us just bowed there heads.

Timeskip--

It's been three days since Njord passed on to Valhalla. The atmosphere is very sad. I spent last three days with Zoe and Anna. I also spent sometime with Freyja. I ust want to help them.

Right now we are all going to breakfast. Father called an entire family meeting. When we get to that room all the Family members were there. My Father, Mother, Brothers, Skadi and everyone else.

We went and wished everone good morning and took our seats. Father then said,'' I know last some days were not the best. We lost someone. A good Friend, A good Father, a good Husband and most importantly A great King. But we have to move forward. He would not have wanted us to cry in his absence. He wanted to us to remember the best moment of his life he spent with us. So keep him in your memories. ''

We all nods our head then we all started eating. We talked with each other. Enjoyed our time but suddenly I felt something wrong. Like something is happening that needs my attention but I just couldn't pinpoint it. I looked towards Father and he looked angry no actually he looked livid.

Suddenly we felt an oppressive feeling cover us. It's like Gravity has suddenly risen thousand fold. The only one who was unaffected was Mother, Thor, Skadi and me.

Thor because of his exceptional strength, Mother and Skadi because of their power and I because of my Armor. My Armor does not allow me to be influenced by something that doesn't belong to me. Mother started to speak,'' Husband'' but before she can continue a soldier came in and said

'' My King, All- Father. Hemimdal said that Fire Giants and Ice Giants together have rebelled. They have attacked Alfheim.''

My father stood up. I have never seen him this angry. He said,'' Those pathetic creatures. They are thinking because of Njord passing we have become weak. This is an insult to my Friend's memory. They are not even letting us grieve in peace.''

Thor said,'' Father order us. We will put them in their places.''

Father said,'' No my son. They are thinking that I have become old. This time I will lead the battle myself. They insulted my friend. This time I will show them no mercy.

Thor, Baldur, Loki, Vidar and Tyr call all the Gods. Prepare them. This time we will crush them.''

My brothers nods their head and My father was leaving but -
