Luna Verdict

I knew that Isabel was a determined young woman. However, I was the same as well, and I wasn't ready to agree with her. I wanted her to understand that I was resilient as well.

"Warm or hot water, it's still the same. My body would be irritated and that's the only fact that you should consider!" I told her slowly. "You need to be considerate here."

Isabel didn't mind me. She made me enter the bathtub once more and she grabbed a towel.

"I'll be gentle!" Isabel said slowly and started to wipe my body with the towel. She kept to her word by being gentle in approach. What she said made me remember the night I met Gabby. He told me he would be gentle when he took my virginity. Once more, I regretted meeting him. This had to be the greatest chaos of my life.

As Isabel messaged my body, I cried. I tried to familiarize myself with my reality, but it was hard on me. I couldn't imagine that I was hating a man that I was supposed to love. It was not easy at all for me to do that.

Isabel did her best by making me feel good. After she had wiped my whole body, she dressed my wounds and used plaster as was necessary. I wouldn't have flies perching around my wounds now.

A few minutes before Isabel finished, we got a knock on the door and Isabel went to check who was at the door. I was looking around while she did this. I could see that I had a lot of injuries. The most affected part of my body is my buttocks. Isabel had told me that it had stripes like I was flogged with a whip. Gabby did that to me with his hands. Isabel did this quite well and I could sit properly.

"Greetings, my Lord!" I heard Isabel say. I knew who it was. There was none other to be called Lord in the mansion than the notorious Alpha Gabby. As I realized this, I was so scared. My heart beat harder than ever.

I raised my head high and saw Gabby moving closer to me. Isabel was following him. I already saw him, but I didn't stand up intentionally. I still didn't know his mission and if it was to beat me up, I didn't need to stand to get a slap from him.

"How many times do you need to be taught that you should stand up and greet the Alpha when you see him!" Gabby shouted at me angrily. He never acted like the man he was to me before. I didn't mind this at all.

I stood up now and did as he said.

"Greetings, Alpha Gabby!" I told him and took my seat almost immediately. I could see him laugh. It didn't sound like he was happy at all. It sounded quite sarcastic.

"You have no manners and I do not blame you. Well, I came here for something more important," Gabby said slowly. I kept a straight face while he said this. "I want to know what happened between you and my baby sister. I learned that there was a huge fight between both of you."

"Josephine was involved as well," I helped him out. I still made sure I kept a straight face here.

"Not bad," Gabby replied. "I don't care much about this, but I need to know the reason behind this. Share the reason with me very quickly, since I don't have much time by my side!"

"You should ask your family," I told him savagely. "I am sure you must have met Eileen and Josephine, but you feel like I am the best option to tell you what you would like to hear."

"I don't care about that. Just tell me the reason behind the fight!" Gabby shouted at me.

I smirked.

"What if I tell you that your baby sister, Eileen, is the one who caused the fight?" I asked him carefully. I knew what he would probably do.

"She isn't the one!" Gabby shouted.

"How do you know? You ain't there, and you should listen to what I tell you," I told him slowly. I knew what Gabby could do to me, but I didn't want to care too much about that. I wanted to be true to myself.

"Eileen had already told me the whole story and Josephine supported it. I am only asking you to confirm what they said. Even if you told me a different story, I would believe theirs because I know that they would never lie!" Gabby said slowly. He never cared about my feelings as he said this.

I was hurt but I managed to smile.

"You see, I am not shocked at all. It's normal for you to say things like this!" I told him slowly. "You have done a very good job. Please, keep it up. If Eileen says that I stabbed her, please believe her. I did."

"In essence, you wish to agree with the truth, right?" Gabby asked carefully.

I smiled.

"Since Eileen is the mother of all truth, I would agree with her truth. I have nothing to say to you!" I told him firmly.

I could see as he clenched his fists. He was about to come closer to me, but Isabel stepped in.

"Lady Jacqueline is still my patient, and you won't be able to touch her during this period. If you have something to settle with her, please do it when I am not there!" Isabel said. She blocked him from having access to me.

"In my pack?" Gabby asked as he started to laugh. I can't bear this any longer. I stood up and confronted him.

"You must be drunk!" I shouted at him. "Have some sense, Gabby. I am supposed to be your mate, but you are acting like that. I am tired. What has come over you?"

I was tired of him. I felt like running away. I looked at my scars and reminded myself that this wasn't what I signed up for in the beginning.

"Don't let me take hold of you!" Gabby warned me. He tried to reach me, but Isabel blocked me.

"You won't do anything to me!" I shouted in anger. "You are just a useless Alpha whose achievement lies inside bottles!"

This got Gabby annoyed and he came for me. Isabel tried to hold him back, but he pushed her away violently. I knew I was alone now, and I had to run outside the room. I cried on top of my voice for help.

"Help!" I screamed. Gabby's guards were outside the door and when they saw me, they didn't know what was happening.

I ran away and Gabby finally came out of the room. He chased me as well, but the doctor whom I saw earlier came out of nowhere and grabbed my hand. He blocked me and didn't let Gabby get to me.

"Stop, Alpha Gabby!" The doctor told me. "Your subjects are looking at you and this is the last thing you should do. It's wrong to chase your mate around in public."

Gabby stopped now and looked around. He now knew he had made a fool out of himself. There were a lot of servants around watching us.

"Listen, Jacqueline, I won't chase you anymore, but you have unlocked a new series of suffering for yourself," Gabby told me. "Make sure you report to the maids' unit once the doctor is done with your treatment. Your punishment would be waiting for you there."

I watched as Gabby ordered two of his guards to watch my every move and take me to the maid's unit later. I could do nothing about this.

When I got back, Isabel was seated, and she was waiting to complete her session with me.

"Can you help me escape?" I asked slowly.

"No, I can't," Isabel said slowly. "This mansion is not the regular kind, and it's almost impossible to escape. Even if you eventually escape, I will be killed. The best thing you could do is to resign to your fate!"

I sighed.

When I reported to the maids' unit later in the day, I was assigned with so many tasks. I had to work with the maids in the kitchen and assist them with everything they did.

I began to miss Rosa because I knew she would help me if she was around.

I was so exhausted when I finished, and I decided to go into the room I shared with Gabby. I didn't plan to sleep there for the night.

I opened the door innocently only to find a sight that I wasn't expecting at all.

I could see Gabby with Josephine on the bed. Both of them were naked, and it was obvious that they had just had sex.

"But you are cousins!" I shouted in disbelief.
