LUCKY REINCARNATION: REINCARNATED WITH A HAREM SYSTEM

Chapter 122: Duel

Leon stared back at the General seriously, he opened his mouth and said slowly.

"No, I do not."

Everyone "..."

The General stared at Leon with a stumbled expression. He didn't expect Leon to reject his challenge so blatantly, at least have some balls as Quin Xuxu's disciple!

"See, he doesn't even dare to defend your honor as a disciple should. He's not worthy of his relationship with you," the General said to Quin Xuxu.

Leon looked back at him, not feeling ashamed of his response at all. After all, this person was a level 7 martial artist and was an experienced General; only an idiot would dare to fight him with the strength of a level 5.

"Stop this madness. You're a level 7 top expert, and you want to fight someone two levels weaker than you. Where is your dignity?" Bai Quing spat angrily, but the General would not budge; he insisted on taking Leon's place.

The soldiers behind him were embarrassed but still stood behind him, he was still their General even though he was acting shameless. The other elders and disciples were looking with a speechless expression; they had never encountered this man before, so his shamelessness baffled them. They could only stare at Leon with pity, they would also be terrified if a top expert wanted to fight them just because of their Master.

Quin Xuxu's eyes were narrowed and carried a cold glint as she watched the General, she was clearly pissed.

"Leave the Falcon sect at once; you are no longer welcome here." She muttered softly.

The General looked at her, his eyes unshaken.

"All lands of the Cloud Dew dynasty belong to the emperor; you can't chase us away," he paused for a while, taking a long look at Quin Xuxu before he continued.

"I don't understand. I used to think that you hated men, but that doesn't seem to be the case since you took a male disciple. Aren't I more qualified than him to stay by your side? Why would you rather keep someone like him?" He asked, his voice carrying pure curiosity. Enjoy more content from My Virtual Library Empire

Quin Xuxu stared at him expressionlessly.

"You disgust me," she said with a contemptuous snort.

The eyes of the General flickered with emotions, he could feel Quin Xuxu's hate from her tone.

He sighed and took a step back.

"I understand, I'll leave and never trouble you again."

Everyone was surprised by his words; Bai Quing was stunned to hear that the same person who had pestered her Master for years was finally going to give up, though the General's next words made her roll her eyes.

'I expected too much, how could it be so easy?' She thought to herself.

The General had accepted to leave but that was only after a duel with Leon.

Quin Xuxu obviously refused on Leon's behalf instantly, she was not going to let him fight against this shameless person.

"Naturally, I'm not going to be his opponent." The General said and called out "Han Zhang!"

"Here," a voice answered behind him, and a person stepped forward; it was the level 5 martial artist that was sitting with them previously.

The young man was tall and had a lean figure that was buffed by his golden armor; he had red spiky hair that matched his eyes and a thin face that seemed to have lost all fat due to hard labor. His eyes were fierce and he had a look of viciousness.

The General introduced him. Han Zhang was a young man from a remote kingdom located in the east of the Cloud Dew dynasty and was a talented martial artist who managed to reach level 5 at the age of fifty by relying on himself.

He joined the imperial army a few years ago and made a name for himself by making great contributions, he quickly claimed the ranks and became a Junior captain after a few years in the army.

"Since they are both level 5, I believe that they should be matched. Let your disciple duel with him and only then will I be certain that he's worthy of being your disciple. If he loses, you'll have to end your relationship with him at once!" The General declared.

" And why should I agree to your condition?" Quin Xuxu glared at him.

" Then I'll continue to disturb you," the General responded casually.

Quin Xuxu "..."

Bai Quing "..."

Leon "..."

How shameless!

Quin Xuxu didn't answer immediately and looked at Leon first, she wanted to know what he thought about this matter.

According to the General, Han Zhang was already fifty years old. This meant that he had started training sooner and had more time to practice, he also had more experience in fighting since he was a soldier.

Leon, on the other hand, was much younger and had only trained for a year. He was only able to reach level 5 so quickly because of his talent and the support of Quin Xuxu's pills.

After considering these factors, it was only natural that Han Zhang would win.

When Leon saw Quin Xuxu looking at him, he nodded subtly at her.

Since his opponent was now a level 5 and not a level 7 expert, how could Leon be scared away? They were challenging his right to be with Quin Xuxu as her disciple, what would they do then if they found out about their other relationship? Would they cough blood and die on the spot?

'As long as the opponent isn't stronger than me, I have no reason to fear them. I still have the protective amulet and spiritual Qi, this should be easy.' Leon thought to himself while looking at Han Zhang, secretly shocked that this person who looked to be the same age as him was already fifty.

After getting Leon's response, Quin Xuxu turned her gaze back to the General and agreed.

"Good, let's start the duel immediately. No need for either side to prepare," He said.

"They can't fight here, the arena isn't far from here." Bai Quing voiced out from the side.

Everyone moved out of the Grand hall under Bai Quing's lead, Leon walked next to Quin Xuxu.

The soldiers and disciples outside the hall turned their focus to them when they saw the group coming out.

"There will be a duel, everyone, head to the arena!" The General announced with a loud voice as snow fell on his armor and hair.

Bai Quing's eyes twitched, why was this guy making a big deal out of it?

The soldiers and disciples of the Falcon sect were stunned to hear the news, they wondered what had happened that resulted in a duel and who the fighters were.

"What happened inside, why are they fighting?"

"How would I know? I've been outside here in the snow all the time, just like you."

"Let's go and watch them; it should be exciting. I heard that soldiers are extremely skilled in martial arts and know a lot of killing techniques."

The disciples discussed with each other as they moved in the direction of the arena. Bai Quing had already led the others there, and the soldiers who were guarding outside followed them.

Some minutes later, everyone was gathered around the snow-covered arena and were waiting for the fight to start.

The soldiers stayed on one side of the arena with the General and other captains standing in front, their golden armor covered in white snow.

On the other side of the arena were the disciples of the Falcon sect, Bai Quing, Quin Xuxu, and the elders who stood in front; they all looked charming under the snow shower.

"When is the fight starting?"
