In an alleyway a portal opened and out stepped the group and when squigly felt the air she felt the familiar air however something felt off.

Micheal: that felt wierd it was like my body went through a metamorphosis.

Bonnie: since when did you became a scientist? But yeah that felt wierd.

Ken: wierd feeling aside this feels kinda alien.

Max: you tell me.

Squigly: guys.

Everyone's attention turned to squigly.

Squigly: I can feel my connection to the skull heart acting up this means that the skull heart is active!

Max: Marie? What the hell is she doing?

Everyone turn to him.

Leviathan: how do you know the Skullgirl's name?

Max: before I got the watch I meet her when I was out and she isn't like the Skullgirls you mentioned but she is different she is fighting for control but she is losing.

Ken: what do you mean?

Max: I got a glimpse of her soul and there is multiple souls in her body and currently Marie is in control but the skull heart is taking over and eventually Marie will lose and the skull heart will have full control.

Bonnie: shit. That's gonna suck so were should we go?

Max looked around and he quickly remembered that this might be new meridian.

Max: this might be new meridian since this place doesn't look like the cannopy kingdom.

Squigly: indeed but unfortunately this place is place is the territory of the medicis.

Junpei: who are the Medicis?

Max: in simple terms there are a group of mobs that ruin lives.

Squigly: yes and they killed my family.

Junpei: I see so what's the difference plan?

An explosion rang out and they all looked up and saw a falling blimp on fire and then a crash on was heard.

Max: looks like squigly was right there is a problem.

Bonnie: that's an understatement it feels like we're in a war.

Micheal: well judging from the trajectory the blimp must have come from behind us.

They turned and saw some rocks on the water.

Ken: hey max think you fly us to the other side?

Max: I can but I don't want to waste my energy in case we ran into trouble so guess we are going on foot.

The group went to walk though they actually parkour through the building and when they got to the other side of new meridian max saw how a building was on fire and he remembered that Parasoul told him that's where the medicis operate.

So he thought of scenario's in his head he remembered that Parasoul told him that she was planning on raiding the medicis's headquarters but he guessed that Marie also made her move and now Parasoul's egrets are doing something to about Marie.

Although from what little max knew he thought that Marie probably has a grudge against the medicis.

When he was done thinking he put his attention on his group.

Max: guys i think we should split up.

Junpei: what? Isn't that a bad idea?

Max: we will need to cover some ground in case Marie did anything else if we find civilians help them and if you encounter anyone hostile go to town.

Micheal: well there is six of us so a 3 by 3 split isn't bad.

Squigly: I'll go with max if we run into Parasoul we should explain our situation.

Max: yeah we left with no warning.

Junpei: I'll go with you too.

Max: alright so that leaves Micheal ken and Bonnie. Micheal you're in charge.

Micheal: I know come on.

The three ran off to scout around.

Max: alright we should go to look for Parasoul I want to get the full details on what's going on.

Junpei and squigly nodded and they followed max to find Parasoul.

It was supposed to be a simple and straightforward operation Parasoul work a lot to get a legal permit to raid the medicis and she was close to subduing them but the skull girl came out of nowhere and she destroyed the top of the medici tower and Parasoul had to get out of there and avoid getting killed.

But after she got a stable squad she was planning on an all out attack on the skull girl but the medicis who were getting away in a blimp shot one of the towers and it was going to fall on her but to her surprise the skull girl actually saved her.

And threw the whole building at the blimp they barely managed to dodge but it suffered damage.

Parasoul: Molly status.

Molly: no casualties but some debry feel in the streets of new meridian-

Egret soldier: my apologies for interrupting your call your highness but we got reports that umbrella went missing.

Parasoul: what!?

Egret soldier: we already sent out a squad to search for her!

Parasoul: damn it umbrella I told her to stay in her room.

Looks like the princess has a soft side.

The soldiers along with Parasoul turned and saw a blue hair woman in a nurse outfit and a nun with closed eyes.

Parasoul: who are you?

Valentine: that's not important but looks like your little sister has a unique connection to the skullheart it's honestly curious.

Parasoul: if you lay one finger on her you will have hell to pay.

Valentine: well what can you do? I'll be on my way someone's gonna have to keep an eye on her.

Parasoul: hold it!

Parasoul was about to run towards the nurse but the nun got in the way and made sludge walls and made copies of Parasoul.

Double: I can't allow you to get in the way.

Egret soldier: princess!

Parasoul: I'm fine go after that woman and get my sister!!

Egret soldier:but princess-

Parasoul:that's an order!

Reluctantly the solders complied and left her with her doubles.

Parasoul: I've done my research on you demon you are the one who gave the skull heart to Selene contiello.

Double: you may know me but that isn't going to help you.

Parasoul drew krieg and took a stance.

One of the fake tried to hit her but she swung krieg and an orange sludge stuck it's self on it he pressed the tip of krieg into the ground and the fake exploded destroying other clones.

Of course double suffered some damage but that was just one explosion so it was a minor injury.

Parasoul kept on fighting against the fakes and she exploded a lot of them but they kept coming but she noticed that some where combining and double was in her monstrous slime form.

Double: your weapon is formidable princess but you are still human and so your body is getting tired but don't worry your sister will be a fine host for the skull heart.

Parasoul: over my dead body you demon!!

Double: funny that was the plan.

Double made 4 scorpion tails to finish her off Parasoul was still fighting her copies and she noticed the attack but she couldn't dodge it.

But just before it was about to hit her a black blurr appeared and it cut down all of the tails and clones.

And when he landed Parasoul couldn't believe her eyes.

Parasoul: max!?

Max turned and he gave her a small smile back.

Max: sorry for leaving but let's talk later.

Double was taken by surprise by the boy and she recognized him from the news.

Double: you are that boy. You will cause trouble for the trinity I shall kill you before-

Double saw that max wasn't even paying attention to her but he was looking behind her and when she turn pink flames came out and burned her normally it wouldn't do damage but these flames they were burning at her very soul.

She turned and saw squigly surrounded by a pinkish aura and flames in her hands.

Double: you!!

She was about to charge her but she was stuck in the back and she looked down and saw a needle piercing her body.

She looked at the source and saw a boy with a jellyfish that was half blue and purple she thought that it was a parasite but it doesn't feel like it.

She tried to move but her body was falling apart like she couldn't control it anymore and she felt a stinging pain in her very soul.

Parasoul was surprised by the sudden arrival of the three she recognized squigly but the boy in the biker outfit was an unknown.

Max walked up to double who can only glare at him with hatred he ignored it to look at Junpei with a curious expression.

Max: did you fuse your venoms together?

Junpei: yeah I was freya told me that moon dregs is kinda like a sponge that sucks up venoms and can make a new type so I've been training to see if I can fuse my paralysis venom with poison.

They looked at double who was still glaring.

Junpei: by the time she regains some control she would have died.

Max looked at Junpei with an impressed face.

Max: you sure pushed yourself nice.

Junpei: thanks.

Parasoul and squigly walking over to them and Parasoul had a lot of questions.

Parasoul: max! Where were you and how did come back?

Max: I'll answer but first.

He looked over to the paralyzed puddle.

Max: I think we need to get rid of this thing.

He flared his spiritual energy and made a black arm and grabbed double and drained her of all of her vitality turned her body into dust in the wind.

Parasoul got some chills seeing that sure she didn't care for that demon but she didn't expect to see it die in a brutal way.

Max shook his hand of the dust he turned back to the group.

Max: come on let's go somewhere else to talk.
