Chapter 978: Chapter 977 Discussing Endorsements (2)

Sun Xiaoqian and her manager saw that Gu Huanhuan was still sitting there calmly, unmoved, and felt somewhat choked with anger.

Gu Huanhuan had just glanced at Sun Xiaoqian, who was wearing a very short skirt and a branded T-shirt that made her look youthfully invincible. On her feet were a pair of high-heeled sandals, at least 5 centimeters tall, with diamond-studded straps that sparkled brilliantly.

She indeed had the capital to be proud, no wonder she looked down on others.

Probably because they did not receive any reaction from Gu Huanhuan, they also found it boring and thus did not continue talking.

Actually, they both knew Gu Huanhuan, having become famous before her.

Soon, Sister Gao came in and also saw them. She silently inquired with her eyes to Gu Huanhuan, what was going on?

They had just had a contest over a role in a TV drama, and now they met again. It truly was a narrow path for enemies.

Gu Huanhuan shrugged her shoulders, indicating she did not know.

Soon, Mr. Song’s secretary came in and invited Sun Xiaoqian to go in first.

Sun Xiaoqian stood up, her posture like a proud white swan, and then she walked chest out into the other office.

Her manager closely followed behind her.

After they left, Gu Huanhuan somewhat annoyedly said, “Sister Gao, Sun Xiaoqian and I are incompatible. Every time we meet, it means no good.”

Sister Gao curled her lips, “Be careful. Don’t be too naive and fall into someone else’s trap.”

“I’m not that foolish. In this mixed industry, one must always be vigilant.” Gu Huanhuan was no longer the rookie that she had once been.

“Hmm, good that you understand.” Sister Gao nodded, knowing how to protect oneself is good.

“Sister Gao, I guess we have made a wasted trip this time.” Gu Huanhuan had overheard their conversation, feeling she stood no chance.

Madam Song had only given birth to one son, Song Jie, and Song Jie was always a filial son, so unless it was really unacceptable, he would likely listen to his mother.

“Let nature take its course. Now that we’re here, who knows, there might be an unexpected surprise?” Sister Gao consoled her.

After Sun Xiaoqian went in, she came out not long after, her cheeks a bit flushed, looking somewhat shy.

Gu Huanhuan and Sister Gao looked at each other, unclear about what had happened.

Sun Xiaoqian glanced at them and then left with her manager.

“What’s going on?” Once she had gone, Gu Huanhuan asked Sister Gao.

“She probably saw Mr. Song and was smitten. I’ve heard that young Mr. Song is handsome and charming, although he already has a fiancée, it doesn’t stop ladies from throwing themselves at him.” Sister Gao offered her unique insight.

“Really?” Gu Huanhuan was somewhat dumbfounded, having lived a privileged life, she could not relate to such thoughts.

“Girl, you’re still too naive,” Sister Gao sighed.

“Miss Gu, please come in. Mr. Song is waiting for you,” the secretary came to inform them.

“Okay, thank you.” Gu Huanhuan stood up, adjusted her outfit, and then slowly walked into Song Jie’s office.

Upon entering, she saw a man in a suit and leather shoes diligently reading documents. She greeted him first, “Hello, Mr. Song.”

The man looked up upon hearing her voice, “It’s her!!”

It’s him!! The man she had encountered drunk at the restaurant yesterday. How coincidental? So, he was Song Jie.

Surprise was no less on Song Jie’s face than on Gu Huanhuan’s; he did not expect to encounter the fairy he had met yesterday again today.

Perhaps this was fate?

“Miss Gu, right? Please have a seat.” Song Jie stood up and invited Gu Huanhuan to sit on the sofa, with Sister Gao following closely behind.
