Chapter 130: Let's Get Ready To RUMBLE!
"The granddaughter of the First Hokage? Things just got complicated." Onoki, the diminutive Tsuchikage, floated in midair, his expression sour as he stared at the massive crater below. He let out a weary sigh.
He hadn't planned to do much—just show up, shake hands, and exchange a few words with Gojo to keep up appearances.
But Raikage A? That hotheaded fool always had to escalate things.
What a headache.
"Is this a personal grudge? Fine. Let's call it that," Tsunade declared, shrugging off her Hokage coat and tossing it to Kurenai Yuhi. She clenched her fists, her golden eyes blazing as she locked onto Raikage Ai.
Gojo was her favorite troublemaker and her most beloved...well, not exactly son, but close enough.
Coming after Gojo in her presence? That was signing your own death warrant.
"Lord Hokage, Lord Raikage," Mifune, the stoic samurai leader, stepped forward, resting his hand on his sword. "This is the neutral Land of Iron. I must insist you honor its sanctity."
"Nope, don't think we will," Gojo chimed in, hands casually shoved into his pockets. A mischievous grin tugged at his lips. "Smelly old man, why would anyone care about your 'neutral ground'? It's just snow and bad tea."
Mifune's eyes narrowed, his fingers tightening on his hilt. "Gojo, show some respect. This is the Five Kage Summit."
Gojo rolled his eyes. "Respect is overrated. Chaos is way more fun."
Raikage A, his muscles visibly twitching with fury, growled, "You smug bastard! I'm going to wipe that smirk off your face!"
"Oh?" Gojo tilted his head, feigning concern. "But who'll take responsibility for starting this mess? You, obviously. You threw the first tantrum."
"Enough!" Raikage A roared, veins bulging as his teeth clenched. "I've had it with your nonsense!"
"Relax," Gojo said lazily, turning to Tsunade. "Hey, Tsunade, I've got a killer idea."
"What now, Gojo?" she asked, exasperation mixing with curiosity.
He spread his arms dramatically. "All the major players are here. Why not...unify the ninja world?"
The room fell silent. Every pair of eyes turned to Gojo in shock.
"Are you serious?" Tsunade's voice was laced with disbelief.
"Dead serious," Gojo replied with a shrug. "We off them all now—bam! Unified ninja world. Easy-peasy."
"Are you insane?" Kurenai hissed, glancing nervously at the other Kage. "You can't just say things like that!"
Temari, standing nearby, looked at him with a mix of awe and horror. "What a man..." she murmured. "Completely unhinged."
"Boy, are you trying to start another Great Ninja War?" Onoki's tone was dangerously low as he floated forward, his gnarled hands coming together in a menacing seal.
"Relax, Grandpa," Gojo said, tossing his sunglasses to Tsunade with a cheeky grin. His snow-blue eyes sparkled. "It's just a friendly sparring match."
"Sparring?" Terumi Mei, the Mizukage, raised an elegant brow. Her chakra flared, cracking the ground beneath her. "Do you think we're your personal playthings?"
"Well," Gojo began, smirking, "you were last time. Remember?"
Her face flushed red as memories of a certain humiliating encounter flooded back. She clenched her fists but quickly reeled in her chakra. Getting into another fight with him here, in front of everyone? If things went sideways, she might end up spanked. Again.
Better to wait and plot her revenge later.
Gojo stretched nonchalantly. "Okay, how about we make this fun? Let's put some stakes on it."
"What kind of stakes?" A growled, his fists cracking audibly.
"If you all gang up on me and somehow win, I'll hand over the Six-Tails," Gojo declared, his grin widening. "If I win...you loan me the Eight-Tails for a bit. Fair trade, right?"
Onoki chuckled darkly. "The Rock Village agrees."
"Hey!" Terumi Mei snapped. "The Six-Tails belongs to my village!"
"Like I care," Gojo said with a dismissive wave. "You're all about to lose anyway."
"Enough talking!" Raikage A erupted, launching himself at Gojo like a missile. The ground shattered beneath his leap, his massive leg swinging down in a crushing Guillotine Drop aimed squarely at Gojo's head.
But just before impact, his leg stopped dead, frozen in midair.
"Deal's on," Gojo said, his voice as light as a breeze. He turned to Tsunade with a grin. "Close your eyes, Tsuna. Things might get messy."
"Fine," she muttered, biting her lip as she shut her eyes. Blood made her queasy, and she trusted Gojo to handle things.
Onoki hovered closer, chakra building in his hands. "Let's see if your cocky attitude holds up, kid. This is Dust Release. Let's see you handle it."
"Oh, please." Gojo clapped his hands together, forming a bizarre seal that seemed more for show than function. "You're about to witness power on a whole new level."
The room trembled as Gojo's aura exploded outward.
Terumi Mei, still holding back, watched in disbelief. "How is he so...infuriating and impressive at the same time?"
In the back of her mind, she couldn't shake the thought: Gojo might actually be having fun. And somehow, that made him even more dangerous.
