Knight of Arry

Chapter 7: Butler's Life

Sona, now working as a butler, follows Kasandra around and assists her. However, Sona starts to feel awkward around Kasandra, who seems to be very different from what she initially thought. Kasandra, ever the optimist, invites Sona for tea, but Sona hesitates, trying to come up with excuses to decline. In the end, though, she gives in.

After they have tea, Kasandra casually mentions that Dema and Greg have been getting closer lately. Sona, who is overprotective of her sister, denies that their relationship is anything romantic.

Kasandra then teases Sona, joking that Rain might be her boyfriend, which causes Sona to spill her tea. Embarrassed, she quickly apologizes and denies the joke, but Kasandra smirks and says, "I saw you enter his house earlier. What's going on between you two?" Sona flushes, frustrated, and insists that she would never fall for him.

Kasandra looks at her thoughtfully and says, "Why not? The two of you are a good match, you know... After all, you defeated the Fire Dragon together. The combo was amazing!" Hearing this, Sona sees a chance to insult Rain's character in the worst way possible. As she speaks, Rain quietly listens from behind her.

When Sona admits, "Well, he's handsome, but I hate how he enjoys seeing me annoyed by the rumors," she suddenly realizes Rain is standing right there. She turns around and is taken aback by his smile. Kasandra, unfazed, invites him to sit down. Rain sits next to Sona, making her feel uncomfortable and flustered. Kasandra reminds Sona that they need to have a meaningful conversation, and Sona awkwardly excuses herself, apologizing and bidding them farewell.

Confused about Rain's sudden appearance and wondering why Kasandra didn't inform her of his visit, Sona begins to think that Kasandra might be playing with her. She heads to the library to arrange some books.

As she does, Dema and Greg approach. Sona glares coldly at Greg, causing him to freeze in fear. She asks Dema what she's doing here, and Dema explains that she wants to learn. Greg suggests they go to his house, where there are more books. Proud of her sister, Sona shifts her gaze to Greg and warns him not to do anything suspicious. Greg, understanding the message, nods in agreement. Just then, a maid informs Sona that Kasandra is calling for her.

Sona heads to Kasandra's room, where Kasandra orders her to lead Rain outside the house. Kasandra smiles and gives Sona a thumbs up, leaving Sona feeling embarrassed and frustrated, knowing she can't act against Kasandra's request.

Walking down the hallway in an awkward silence, Rain reassures Sona that he can go outside on his own. However, Sona insists that she must obey Kasandra's orders, or she'll be punished. Rain then asks why she became a butler instead of a maid or servant. Sona explains that Kasandra wanted her to be a butler model, and she just wanted to be spoiled by Kasandra after being ignored and insulted by her older siblings.

Rain reveals that he and Kasandra are classmates and expresses concern that Kasandra works and studies too hard without resting. He adds that thanks to Sona, Kasandra's childish desires are being fulfilled.

They continue exchanging pleasantries until they reach the outside. Sona bows to bid him farewell, thanking him for the conversation. Suddenly, Rain grabs her chin and kisses her. Kasandra watches from a window, thrilled by the scene. Rain then bids her farewell, leaving Sona stunned by his boldness.

Back in Kasandra's room, Kasandra greets Sona with a wide smile and congratulates her. Sona's face turns bright red, and she shyly hides her face with her hands. Annoyed and embarrassed, she decides to retire for the night, but Kasandra immediately grabs her legs, pleading with her not to go. Seeing Kasandra's sad, cute face, Sona changes her mind. Kasandra hugs her tightly, and their bodies press close together. Sona feels an unexpected stimulation and tries to break free, but Kasandra pulls her even closer. Just then, Dema and Greg burst in, shocked by the close proximity. Greg, overwhelmed, passes out, while Dema yells at them to stop making things awkward.

Days later, Kasandra and Sona are having a conversation when suddenly Greg bursts in, informing them that the prince has arrived in the village of Feroa. People are gathering outside as the prince's carriage comes to a stop, and the guards announce his arrival.
