King of Worlds'

Chapter 8: KOW Chapter 8 The Weak Enemy

"Sigh, other transmigrators get to live the good life and become the strongest in the world."

"As for me, even though I can travel freely to any world I want, what I face after crossing over is nothing but life and death!"

Qin Yi sighed inwardly, feeling bitter about his situation.

Half an hour later, Gandalf's eyes suddenly lit up.

"I found them! Over there, those are our kingdom's soldiers."

Pointing ahead, the giant eagle below Gandalf let out a sharp scream and quickly dove down.

Looking down, Qin Yi saw the ''soldiers of the kingdom'' huddled together, trembling with fear. His gaze sharpened and he sighed heavily in his heart.

"The mess my predecessor left behind is truly a disaster."

Launching an attack on an unknown ''Otherworld'' and daring to mobilize the entire military force directly - how much confidence did they have to make such a reckless decision?

Meanwhile, deep in the forest, over a hundred ''Kingdom's Soldiers'' had gathered, forming several concentric defensive rings, vigilantly scanning their surroundings for any movement.

"General Fang Lan, our top priority is to find the princess as soon as possible. If not..."

A soldier standing behind the square-jawed general spoke through clenched teeth, and a grim look on his face.

The previous afternoon, they had been separated from the Princess after fighting with the otherworldly beings. If this news were to reach the homeland, the responsibility they would bear would be immense.

"I know, but there are just too many enemies in this forest. If we act recklessly and the otherworldly beings discover us, our losses will only increase."

Fang Lan spoke in a deep voice.

His expression was somber as well. A month ago, when they first arrived in this ''Otherworld'', they had fought a fierce battle under the command of the king. However, the result was almost desperate.

The enemy controlled various supernatural powers and could launch incredible attacks, causing massive casualties.

Of the 10,000 soldiers, nearly a thousand had been lost in a single blow, and they were forced to scatter. In the days that followed, they marched through the vast forest, constantly facing enemy attacks. Now they were on the verge of exhaustion.

"Damn it, who are these people? Why are they so strong?" A young soldier behind Fang Lan gritted his teeth.

Fang Lan bit his lip but remained silent.

Everyone knew that the ''Energy Trained Civilization'' of this ''Otherworld'' was far beyond their own level. These beings are agile and strong and they could easily compete with their strongest warriors.

On top of that, their bizarre attack methods made even the most powerful ''Kingdom's Soldiers'' no match for them.

"General Fang Lan, we have to act quickly! We don't mind dying, but if anything happens to the Princess, we won't be able to bear the responsibility!"

Soon, another soldier spoke up, gritting his teeth.

Fang Lan clenched his fist and scanned his surroundings.

He could clearly see the exhaustion on each soldier's face. The rations they had brought with them were running low, and they had barely eaten in the past few days. Everyone's mental and physical condition had reached its limit.

However, at this moment, as he looked around, every soldier stood tall and pushed himself to show his strongest side.

"General, it is our duty to protect the Princess and the royal family. As long as the Princess is safe, no matter what the cost, it will be worth it!"

"Yes, General, let's go!"

"Give the order, Fang Lan! If you hesitate, we'll hate you for the rest of our lives!"

In an instant, a loud cheer rang out among the soldiers.

Loyalty to the King and a deep sense of obedience to orders had been instilled in them from a young age. This unwavering faith was ingrained in their bones.

This was an elite, battle-hardened army. They feared nothing. Every soldier was full of passion, with unwavering determination.

The sound of cracking knuckles echoed as Fang Lan squeezed his hands. After a full three minutes, he released his grip and his expression became incredibly fierce.

"Move out! Form the circular defense formation, advance step by step! Full speed ahead!"

"We must find the Princess!"

"Understood!"

As soon as his order was given, the soldiers immediately responded with a loud roar.

The one-hundred-man squad sprang into action, moving quickly through the dense forest.

At the same time, about ten kilometers away in the forest, a group of people dressed in green vests and Shinobi attire were gathered in several simple tents, discussing matters.

Suddenly...

"Tobirama Sama, the group you told us to watch has moved." A Genin quickly entered the tent and knelt on one knee to report.

"Which team moved?"

Senju Tobirama, with silver hair and a stern expression, asked in a deep voice.

Upon hearing the sudden news, the Shinobi present fell silent.

A month ago, this group had suddenly appeared in the forest where they were fighting the Sand Shinobi. The group was large enough to take them by surprise.

What shocked them even more was that these warriors, who seemed to be from another country, had attacked them immediately. However, their methods of attack were surprisingly weak.

The battle had broken out immediately. The group was extremely reckless, fighting both the Konoha Shinobi and the Sand Shinobi at the same time. It seemed as if they couldn't distinguish between the two sides.

Gradually, the Konoha Shinobi and the Sand Shinobi realized that this group was incredibly weak, to the point where even genin could easily defeat them. After several battles, they were crushed and scattered throughout the forest.

Once both sides saw that these ordinary warriors posed no threat, their focus shifted back to each other, and their vigilance against this group relaxed.

"It's the team in the northwest corner of the forest, about ten kilometers away from us."

"This group's movements are strange, and their language is incomprehensible. We've never received any intelligence about them."

The Genin replied quickly and then a look of confusion appeared on his face.

Konoha was never one to start a war and the situation with other countries was very delicate at the moment. They did not want to cause any trouble. If a conflict could be avoided, they were more than happy to do so.

Senju Tobirama fell into deep thought. After a moment, he spoke.

"Send a Jōnin team to continue communication. It would be best if we could contact their superiors."

"If communication fails..."

After a short pause, a cold gleam appeared in Senju Tobirama's eyes.

"Exterminate them!"

In times of war, there was no room for hesitation. He knew very well that if this mysterious group interfered with the outcome of the battle, he would be held responsible.

"Understood!"

The Genin replied quickly and disappeared in an instant.

Soon, a team of four shinobi appeared about four hundred meters southwest of Fang Lan's group, above a large tree.

"Suna Sensei, who exactly are these people?"

Three chunin, all around fifteen or sixteen years old, looked confused.

"I don't know either, but if they are enemies, we will have to deal with them."

Suna, chewing a piece of grass, answered with a sigh.

"Are they enemies?"

One of the Chunin asked curiously.

"Based on their behavior so far, they are enemies."

Suna paused for a moment, then grinned, a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

"Weak enemies!"
