Kojiro was sweating profusely after he repeated the katas that Onoki's clone showed him 1000 times.

Onoki's clone smiled in satisfaction and said to Kojiro, "Good job, kid. Take some rest; you earned it."

Kojiro nodded; he sat on the ground and he started to calm his breathing Onoki's clone offers him some water.

Kojiro thanked Onoki's clone and starts drinking the water greedily

.Onoki's clone then sat opposite Kojiro and said to him, "Listen, kid, now let's talk about ninjutsu. There are three things you always need to keep in mind when you are using ninjutsu."

Kojiro looked at Onoki's clone and listened intently to what he was about to say: "The first thing you need to pay attention to is the battlefield layout. If you're fighting in a restricted environment, using long- and mid-range ninjutsu will be a wrong choice. When choosing to execute a jutsu, you always need to consider the battlefield environment you are fighting in."

Kojiro nodded his head in understanding, and Onoki's clone continued, "The second thing you need to always consider is your chakra reserve and how much chakra each jutsu you use consumes from your chakra reserve."

Kojiro thought about what he heard and nodded his head Onoki's clone then said, "The last thing you need to keep in mind is precession. Keep in mind that the enemy will not give you time to execute a jutsu that may kill them."

When Kojiro heard this, he and Onoki's clone chuckled, then Onoki's clone said, "next part of your training for today is speeding up the 12 shinobi hand signs I am sure you learned these hand signs in the academy; now you need to train to execute those hand signs faster."

Kojiro nodded; he stood up and started trying to speed up his execution of the 12 hand signs.

Onoki's clone watched Kojiro training with a smile on his face.

In the Tsuchikage office

While Onoki was doing the paperwork, he heard a knock on the door.

"KNOCK, KNOCK."

"ENTER."

Yamamoto entered the Tsuchikage office, and Onoki smiled when he saw Yamamoto. He then said to him, "Yamamoto-dono, good to see you again."

Yamamoto smiled and nodded his head. He took a seat and then said to Onoki, "Tsuchikage-sama, I just finished discussing your bet with the elders, and we all have agreed to your bet. So I decided that tomorrow at 8 a.m the trial will be held."

Onoki smiled when he heard the news; he nodded his head and said to Yamamoto, "That is great news, Yamamoto-dono. I and Kojiro will visit your Chiba clan mansion at 8 a.m tomorrow."

Yamamoto nodded his head in satisfaction. He stood up and said to Onoki, "Well, if you excuse me for now, Tsuchikage-sama, I need to go and prepare for the trial."

Onoki nodded and said to Yamamoto, "Sure thing, Yamamoto-dono. Thank you for coming."

Yamamoto then turned around and exited the Tsuchikage office.

After Yamamoto exited the Tsuchikage office, Onoki stood up and walked towards the Tsuchikage personal training ground.

Tsuchikage personal training ground 

Onoki appeared at the training ground He smiled when he saw Kojiro training his hand signs; he walked to his clone and asked, "So tell me how he is doing."

The clone smiled at Onoki, and he told him about how Kojiro did in training. Onoki smiled at what he heard.

Onoki then said to his clone, "Good, go and take care of the office; I will look after the kid for the time being."

Onoki's clone nodded to Onoki and shunshen away.

Onoki watched Kojiro carefully as he trained his hand signs; he smiled and thought to himself, "This kid really has incredible talent; his hand signs have become incredibly smooth from just one hour of training."

After twenty minutes, Kojiro finished executing the hand signs 1000 times.

Onoki smiled at Kojiro and said to him, "good job, kid We will finish your training today early because the Chiba clan leader came to my office earlier and told me he accepted my bet tomorrow morning; we will go to the Chiba clan mansion, and you will participate in the trial."

Kojiro smiled when he heard this and nodded to Onoki.

Onoki then did a one-handed sign and then slapped his two palms on the ground.

"EARTH STYLE: MUD WALL."

A huge wall rose from the ground; it was as tall as a tree Kojiro was surprised and confused when he saw the the wall.

When Onoki saw the confused look on Kojiro's face, he said to him, "Listen, kid, I will teach you an exercise that will help you improve your chakra control. To do this exercise, you will need to focus your chakra in the bottom of your feet and climb this wall using only your feet without using your hands."

Kojiro was surprised when he heard this, and Onoki continued, "You will need to concentrate your chakra in the bottom of your feet to climb this wall. Concentrating chakra in the bottom of your feet is a very hard thing to do; even for seasonal shinobi, to climb this wall successfully, the amount of chakra you concentrate must be perfect; if the amount of chakra wasn't perfect, you either slip up or pushed away from the wall."

Kojiro was amazed at what he heard and nodded his head to Onoki.

Onoki then said to Kojiro, "I want you to keep doing this exercise until you are out of chakra. This exercise is also a good exercise to increase your chakra reserve."

Kojiro nodded his head; he made a hand sign and focused his chakra in the bottom of his feet. He then rushed to climb the wall using only his feet."

Kojiro climbed 7 steps before his foot slipped; he then flipped and stood on the ground while staring at the wall.

Onoki was impressed and thought, "Just as I thought, he is really talented in controlling his chakra; it will not take him long to master this exercise."

Onoki then said to Kojiro, "Keep going, kid. After you run out of chakra, you can go home."

Kojiro nodded and started attempting the exercise again Onoki sat on the ground and continued observing Kojiro.
