Itachi Uchiha: Massacre Night

"Where am I?" He opened his eyes and found himself lying down on the ground while being surrounded by huge trees in the middle of the night.

The only thing that provided him with a source of light was the bright moon in the sky.

"What a sweet dream. It's a pity I can't watch this beautiful scene because I have to reach the office on time tomorrow." He yawned as he turned to his right and closed his eyes while putting his head on his arm.

'Wait, what happened to my voice? It's probably my throat acting up again,' He said as he thought of his changed voice as a result of eating a sour candy, which harmed his sensitive throat.

Unfortunately, he was very sleep-deprived, or else he would have noticed that he was speaking a whole different language.

He heard these voices in his head and decided to ignore them until his head exploded with countless memories and information about Jutsus and stuff.

"What is this?!!" He yelled as he grabbed his head in pain.

After a minute, he calmed down a little but his mentality was still in a mess. He had no idea what just happened.

"Why do I get Itachi Uchiha's memories? What the hell happened to me? There is no way this is just a dream. It's too real to be a dream" He said as he sat down on the floor and decided to take some deep breaths to calm down.

"Let's take a moment and relax," He said as he glanced at a small water pond near him that had some clean water, so he decided to drink some of it.

After that, he crawled towards the water source and was about to put his hands inside, when he saw his face in the reflection of the pond.

"I'm Itachi Uchiha?" He said in confusion as grabbed his face and looked closely in the water.

"Shit, was that Rob guy some sort of deity? Did I offend a transcendent being or something?" He said as he fell into deep thought.

'It's no use trying to use logical reasoning. I have to believe everything I'm seeing with my eyes or I might just die again. It pains me to say this but I have to accept my circumstances and live as Itachi. I have literally no other choice but to accept this reality. If it's a dream, I will wake up shortly, but if it's reality, then I have to adapt fast,t, or I might die in this chaotic world,' He thought as he decided to embrace Itachi's identity.

"From now on, I'm Itachi Uchiha," Itachi said as he washed his face from the pond and looked at the moon.

"Let's thoroughly study my memories before doing anything," Itachi said as he leaned on a nearby tree and decided to sort out his memory.

Soon, his memories started projecting themselves in his mind like a movie, which helped him drastically.

'It must the the system's doing. I should check the system after I'm done with this,' He thought as he kept watching his memories till he became an Anbu captain.

'Weird, why is Kushina Uzumaki still alive? Did my messages make that guy change the plot or something?' Itachi thought as he soon reached the present time when the original Itachi suddenly collapsed on the ground and died from a heart attack.

'Fuck, I'm supposed to meet Obito, who is posing as Madara Uchiha, in half an hour. He is coming here to help me massacre my clan' Itachi thought as he realized that he had a bigger problem to worry about than Kushina Uzumaki being the Jinchuruki of 9-Tails.

'I don't want to kill my clan and my family but I'm also not qualified enough to stop Obito. I can deal with the village and Hokage but dealing with Obito without a space-time ninjutsu is suicide. Kamui is such a broken ability' Itachi thought and tried to find a way.

'Sigh, nothing is coming to my mind yet. Let's see what the system has to offer. System, you there?' Itachi called for his system after failing to find a way to stop Obito.

"What?" Itachi made a surprised Pikachu after seeing the holographic message in front of him. He didn't expect his system to ditch him on the spot.

"Whatever, Functions," Itachi said as he decided to ignore his system and called for his status. Thankfully, He had read system-type novels, so he knew which word he had to use.

"Sick huh? I need to get those Hashirama Cells fast" Itachi said as he momentarily ignored the status part and clicked on Inventory.

"That's fairly simple," He said as he then went back to the function menu of the system to check the Observe function.

[Observe feature can allow the host to see the status of the target]

"That will come in handy," Itachi said as he decided to check The Reward Chest feature at last because he knew it was good stuff that would reward him, so he wanted to look at that in the end.

[Reward Chest is a chest that fills up by the points you receive from 'Stealing Peaches'. You can open the chest to receive the rewards anytime, which will empty out your points reserve and give you a random reward. The reward can be anything like Jutsu, Skill or Weapons, etc but the quality of the reward will depend upon how many points were used for opening the chest]

"So basically, if I don't open the chest like a gacha addict whenever I get points, I can get a better rarity item from the chest. The higher the points when opening the chest, the better the rewards I receive". Itachi said as he looked at the Reward Chest, which said 0 points.

"System, do I have any newbie gift or something?" Itachi asked

"Sigh, of course, I have to grind," Itachi said as he realized that there were no newbie gifts for him.

"You bastard, no way that's happening," Itachi said as he cursed his system for suggesting something so bizarre.
