[Eon's POV: ]

"What happened there, big brother?"

We were on the ship, going back to our house.

"It's… nothing too complicated, really."

It was late evening when they got to the island, so by the time we departed, it was night already.

And, after a while on the ship, it got late as well, so after Anna fell asleep, Zoe and I were the only ones left in this common room.

"The dungeon raid went normally as we had planned for most parts."

I was telling her what we went through for now, and since Rein was outside right now, she will tell her what happened with her and what she experienced later when they get some time.

"We fought, we used magic for most parts, but then, we came across a section of the dungeon that was not discovered or explored."

Zoe and I were connected by a unique bond so she could feel most of the things that I was feeling, but when I entered that strange realm inside my mind, our connection was severed.

'I had detached 'myself' from most of the things present in this world and had entered a place that belonged only to 'me', a place where nothing else was present. Not even the world and natural Laws.'

When I did that, for the first time ever since we met, she felt alone.

'She already told me what she felt and why she urged the others to do something. And if I consider what she had explained, her actions were pretty understandable.'

She was connected with me so she always had someone to talk to, someone that was as close to her as Lucy was to me. It was also more than just a bond that we shared, our existence was a part of life for both of us.

She was there for me and I was there for her… which was not the case for that brief moment our connection was severed.

"That's all that happened."

I do understand that she would have felt all alone in that brief moment, afraid, perhaps she almost had a breakdown.

'I got to know from Anna that she was acting weird and suddenly got all tense and fearful when they were playing, so I know those few moments of solitude were serious for her.'

She did not know something like that would be possible. But, not she knew… now both of us knew there was a 'way' when our connection would not help us either.

And, since we know this now, we will have to work on it later…

"I'm sorry you had to go through-."

"No, big brother. I was not the one that got hurt and faced difficulties. It was you two." shaking her head sternly, she placed a finger on my lips and stopped me right there.

"You had to do something, so you did what you thought was the right answer at that moment. If anything, I was the one that overreacted."

"Not at all, Zoe."

She wasn't wrong that we suffered while doing that trial, but she was still my responsibility. And she had to go through a terrible experience because of me.

For which, I had to apologise to her.

"You did nothing wrong."

But since I know she will argue and shout at me if I try to apologise to her, I didn't do it for now and we simply talked about what I had experienced when being in that state of 'innate exploration' instead.

"So… how was that dark world?"

She was curious about a lot of things right now.

The whole story of how we met a unique snake, how that snake knew something about us, how the snake was aware of our powers, to how we found out about the snake and the true body of that snake… to how we received two unique items from that being. I had told her a few things, but they weren't nearly enough to clench her curiosity.

"That world… well, truthfully, I don't remember much of what I experienced there."

Since only a fraction of my actual self had gone into that unique space, my actual mind did not really know what I had gone through in that space. And even if it did know, I know the 'mind' would block that information to save the body from experiencing something it cannot handle.

"But I know for sure that it was dark…"

It was a dark place. There was no light, and since I did not have my senses, there was also no space in that place either. And since even my perception wasn't working well, I was practically in a suspended position.

"To move, I think I had to focus really hard and wish for something like a movement to happen when I couldn't even understand what a movement in a space without Anything even meant."

I'm pretty sure someone else wouldn't be able to understand what I was saying since most of what I experienced there was left as a feeling instead of an experience.

But Zoe was a different case.

'Since she could feel what I have experienced, she could feel what I wanted to tell her as well, and since she could feel it, she understood what I meant even with the vague explanation.

"And, lastly, before we got out of there, the snake gave us some treasures."

She already knew about them, so I took out the glass book and the attractive vial that we obtained from the snake.

'I was keeping it on me for now inside my White Gate where Lucy and the Artificial assistants I have there were trying to analyze it.'

They had found out a few things till now, like how both the objects were made with ancient materials that we cannot obtain anymore as well as how they were made, but while they were still working on deciphering the Codes that the book was written in, Lucy was still busy analyzing what exactly the thing in the vial was.

"We suspected it was some kind of powerful poison at first, but that was not the case. We then thought that it was some kind of alchemical concoction, an elixir of a sort, but that is not the case either since it possesses divine properties and a natural state."

It was not a mixture of anything and instead was a single natural element which was hard to describe.

For most parts, it seemed like liquified energy, the liquid form of some pure form of energy that should not be taken out of that vial.

"Lucy predicted that it possesses more condensed energy than the energy cores of several hundred (Purple) ranked creatures. Perhaps even more since we don't really know what is inside of it."

We were analyzing the vial without opening it after taking the warning of the green eyed snake seriously.

But even though we only studied the surface of the thing, we were shocked to find the kind of data that we had obtained.

"It's simply unbelievable."

Zoe had not simply an intrigued expression, looking at the complex structure and of the vial as well as the intricate design of the book, she was bashed with a new kind of inspiration.

'She was making a familiar face, the one she made mostly when she was thinking about something simple yet difficult that she wanted to make.'

She was a creator and creating things was not just a passion of hers, it was a hobby she could not part ways with.

Seeing these things from thousands of years ago simply sparked a flame into her creative heart.

"Oh, and I also got a message from Grandma when I got this vial. Wanna see it with me?"

I had put it aside since we didn't have much time but now that we have some time, we should go ahead and see it.

"Oh, I'd love that~. But big brother, shouldn't we call-… oh."

I already told her a while back so while Zoe was saying that, the door to the room opened and Rein walked in.

"So, shall we?"

She was in deep thought since a while back. And since it didn't seem anything concerning, I left her to her contemplation.

'The new eye powers of hers weren't simple and easy to grasp so, I can understand how she would have many questions and concerns.'

But she was dealing with it herself. So, until she needed our help, she was better off dealing with it by herself.

"Okay then…"

I instructed Lucy and she played the memory fragment with Zoe and Rein watching it with us… something we don't do often, but something that surely was possible thanks to Rayray's Skill and Lucy.

Like always, we were seeing an empty space and within this empty space sat my master on the familiar chair we have seen a few times already.

She explained how there are things in this world which one could not compare to anything, masterpieces that are one of a kind or objects that require countless sacrifices to produce.

She showed us a few images of the things that could be considered a World treasure. But she did not explain too much about these things.

Before ending the message, she showed us a few clips… images and small glimpses of what the misuse of these precious objects could result in.

And, what we saw in those few moments… was more devastating than Lucy had calculated.

Through the memory, she did not want to inform us about the greatness of these precious objects but simply warn us of their dangers.

'So, what would they be capable of with a World Treasure?'

Perhaps, that's exactly what she wanted us to think about with this simple message…
