C33: What If: Pym Particles + Whiplash Suit

Dr. Hank Pym set out confidently, prepared for his mission. His first successful assassination attempt on Tony Stark had given him a psychological upper hand, strengthening his disdain for Tony. He couldn't help but look down on Stark even more. Soon, however, Tony would pay for this perceived slight.

"Sir, emergency report. Unmarked ants detected," Jarvis' voice broke through Tony Stark's thoughts. "We suspect these ants may be controlled by Dr. Pym. Their movements are being monitored."

Tony, still reeling from the shock of his first defeat, immediately contacted Nick Fury and requested all available files on Dr. Pym and his Ant-Man suit. With the threat of Ant-Man looming, Stark Tower had been fortified with several layers of defense. Special sensors were in place to track any unmarked ants within the vicinity. As soon as one was detected, Jarvis would notify Tony.

"Wait," Tony mused. "Dr. Pym's target isn't Banner... but me? How did he know I wasn't dead?"

Uncertainty filled his mind, but there was no time for questions. "Jarvis, alert Pepper and Happy. Get them to the safe house. And spread the word—I'll be in the studio."

Tony purposefully avoided letting Jarvis conduct a full scan of the building to locate Pym, knowing this would give the enemy an advantage. Instead, he planned to lead Pym into a trap, informing him of his whereabouts while secretly preparing an ambush.

Without hesitation, Tony opened a portal to one of his other mansions in California. The plan? Leave behind a modified unmanned armor, creating the illusion that he was still in the studio, waiting for Dr. Pym's assassination attempt.

On the other side, Dr. Pym was already using a swarm of ants to infiltrate the studio through pipes, moving silently and cautiously. He couldn't help but think, The playboy suffers his first defeat and still makes no progress...

Pym scouted the room until he found a suit sitting idle on a workbench. How cautious of him, Pym thought. Hiding in the armor, even when alone in the studio... but will it work?

Dr. Pym, with his shrinking Pym Particles in hand, approached the unmanned suit. "I didn't expect this mission to be so easy," he muttered. "Wait… Dad will be so proud."

Pym's particles hit the unmanned suit, causing it to shrink rapidly, collapsing into subatomic size and vanishing into the quantum realm. Just as Dr. Pym felt a sense of victory, an alarm rang out, signaling that something had gone awry.

A glass barrier rose around the suit, trapping Pym in a confined space. His tiny form was now caged, caught within the shifting quantum dimensions. Surprised, Dr. Pym attempted to retreat, but it was too late.

Meanwhile, Tony, observing through surveillance cameras, grinned. His initial strategy was to lure Pym into the unmanned suit's pipes and trap him there. But he hadn't anticipated that Pym would target the suit directly. Fortunately, Tony had already anticipated Pym's potential move.

"Dr. Pym, I've got you," Tony's voice echoed through the speakers.

Fury flashed across Dr. Pym's face. He hadn't expected to be outwitted by Tony Stark, the son of Howard Stark, a man with whom Pym had a long, bitter history. Pym knew Tony had trapped him, but he remained calm, retorting coldly, "You're as insufferable as your father, Tony Stark. Do you think this will end in your favor?"

Tony, unbothered, shot back, "I don't know about you, but I do know you're stuck in that glass cage now, and I'm standing outside, watching you like an ant."

Tony's knowledge of Ant-Man's capabilities reassured him. Based on what he had gathered, the suit wasn't very aggressive, and Pym's suit had been outdated by comparison. Stark knew the glass barrier couldn't be broken, not even by Pym's suit. But he didn't know that Pym's Pym Particles could bend the very laws of physics.

Suddenly, Pym's form began to expand. The once-shrunk scientist grew rapidly, his size increasing exponentially until he slammed into the glass barrier with a tremendous crash. The glass cracked and began to deform, unable to withstand the sheer pressure. In a moment of brutal force, the glass shattered, and Pym burst through, expanding further, his size growing to an enormous scale—nearly 14 times larger than before.

With his massive size and the destruction of the barrier, Dr. Pym shrank down again, disappearing through the breach in the glass and vanishing in a cloud of smoke.

Tony cursed in frustration. "Jarvis, track his location immediately."

"Sorry, sir, Dr. Pym has eluded us."

"Damn it! He got away!" Tony growled, his temper flaring.

"I'm not talking about you, Jarvis!" Tony snapped back. "Shet!"

On the run, Dr. Pym silently cursed his luck. The strain from using the Pym Particles to expand his body had taken a toll, leaving him physically drained. But as he stumbled out of Stark Tower, he found something that caught his eye: a newspaper headline.

"The Stark Family: Liar or Victim?"

Dr. Pym smirked, already knowing much of the story, but it was the next line that truly caught his attention: "Anton Vanko, the true inventor of the Arc Reactor, was betrayed by Howard Stark, who stole his technology." Pym knew this story all too well, but now it raised an interesting question: What if Ivan Vanko, the son of Anton Vanko, was willing to team up with him?

Dr. Pym knew that the true potential of the Pym Particles could only be realized when the user was enlarged—yet, the human body couldn't handle the stress of extreme expansion. However, machines could endure such pressure. Combining his Pym Particles with Ivan Vanko's Whiplash armor and the power of the Arc Reactor might just give him the advantage he needed to defeat Tony Stark once and for all.

"Ivan Vanko, son of Anton Vanko... do you still want revenge on Tony Stark?" Dr. Pym mused, a plan forming in his mind.
