Ichigo can't Fight

Chapter 6: FACTS ABOUT FIGHTING SPIRITS

Spirits

1. Fighting Spirits (FS):

Fighting Spirits, or FS, are extraordinary interdimensional deities intrinsically linked to the people of Ichigo's world from birth. These spirits grant individuals unique skills and powers, shaping their potential and destiny. While the majority of people can only bond with one Fighting Spirit, rare individuals throughout history have wielded as many as five, marking them as legends.

When an individual unlocks an Arc (their first level of mastery), their Fighting Spirit manifests visibly. These spirits can sometimes linger after being summoned, not only aiding in battles but directly participating in combat under certain circumstances. This phenomenon makes them both a blessing and a terrifying force on the battlefield.

2. Martial Spirits:

Martial Spirits are considered a weaker but viable alternative to Fighting Spirits. They are predominantly utilized by swordsmen or warriors with dormant, weak, or recessive Fighting Spirits. By practicing specific Mantras—techniques inspired by Fighting Spirits—individuals can mimic the abilities and skills of these spirits.

However, mastering Martial Mantras is exceptionally challenging, and only the most disciplined practitioners can achieve even basic proficiency. Unlike Fighting Spirits, a single individual can study and wield multiple Martial Mantras, granting them greater versatility in combat. While not as powerful as a bonded Fighting Spirit, Martial Spirits offer an alternative path for those who seek strength.

Skill Levels

The world of Ichigo revolves around mastery and progression, categorized into eight ascending skill levels.

Each level demands immense dedication, discipline, and mastery, with some taking a lifetime to achieve. These levels are:

1. Arc: The foundational level, often achieved by the age of 10. Unlocking an Arc allows an individual to sense and summon their Fighting Spirit.

2. Ace: A step above the Arc, marking refined control and enhanced power.

3. Spade: Demonstrates intermediate mastery of skills, granting greater combat potential.

4. Jack: A level of mastery where individuals begin to shape their abilities creatively, merging techniques.

5. Deuce: Advanced proficiency, where the practitioner demonstrates significant versatility and control.

6. Flourish: Near-elite mastery, marked by a seamless blend of power and technique.

7. Joker: Reserved for combatants with unique and unpredictable skills, often feared for their cunning and adaptability.

8. Hearts: The pinnacle of skill mastery, a level so rare that only a handful in history have reached it. Achieving Hearts represents the absolute unity between an individual and their Fighting Spirit, granting unparalleled power and influence.

Each level presents its own challenges, and while many reach the Arc level in childhood, only a select few ever ascend to the legendary rank of Hearts. These ranks not only signify power but also serve as milestones in the ever-evolving journey of warriors in Ichigo's world.
