I Became a Little Vampire Princess After Being Infected by a Game Virus

Chapter 93: Smooth Sailing

Chapter 93: Smooth Sailing

“Damn it, where’s the road? Did I run to the wrong place?!”

While running, Aierjisi found himself in a dead end. Now, there was no path left in front of him.

“Well, how about that? No escape now, huh? Come on, let’s settle this like a true warrior!”

Seeing Aierjisi had run himself into a corner, Diablo also came to a halt. He had wasted quite a bit of energy chasing this guy, but now that there was nowhere to go, Aierjisi was trapped!

“Uh… what a strange situation. Did I take a wrong turn? It shouldn’t be, I was following the route on the map!”

“What are you mumbling about over there? Are you ready for our duel? Because I’m coming for you!”

Diablo flexed his muscles, ready to start the final showdown with Aierjisi.

“Sorry, but the one you’re dueling with isn’t her—it’s us! Aser, let’s go!”

Just as Aierjisi was thinking about how to retreat, Weirafiya’s voice echoed from above.

“Take this! Immortal Bird Dive!”

Back in her phoenix form, Weirafiya engulfed herself in flames and charged at Diablo.

“Ha! A trivial skill! That won’t work on me!”

With a swift motion, Diablo swatted away Weirafiya’s attack.

“What? He actually deflected my Immortal Bird Dive with just one hand?!”

“My lady, I told you before, our enemy isn’t an easy opponent.”

Seeing Diablo effortlessly dismiss her ultimate move surprised Weirafiya. This was her signature attack, and having it crushed so easily was quite the blow to her pride.

However, Aser, as if already foreseeing this, remained unfazed.

“Wait a second. You’re Weirafiya, right? If I’m not mistaken, you’re one of the six sacrifices.”

Diablo eyed the phoenix. If memory served, she was indeed one of the six sacrifices he needed to capture.

Just as he was pondering where to go to find her after defeating Aierjisi, she delivered herself right to him, saving him a lot of effort. Now he could perform the classic move of taking two birds with one stone!

“Ah, so I wasn’t lost after all. You two really should have come out sooner; you nearly gave me a heart attack! By the way, where’s my Yake?”

“I’m right here.”

As soon as he said it, Yake appeared from a nearby snow-covered mountain. Unlike Aser, who could ride on Weirafiya’s back, Yake had to climb down on his own.

“Are you guys planning a four-on-one? I have no objections! No matter how many of you come, you won’t be my match. I’ll show you just how powerful I am!”

Diablo looked at the four foes before him and cracked his neck.

“Sorry, but for our little battle, I don’t have time to play with those three. I’ll be on my way.”

Now that he had lured them here successfully, his mission was complete. Next, he needed to head to Gaia.

Aierjisi strengthened his legs and dashed past Diablo.

“Hold on! I didn’t give you permission to leave!”

“Sorry, but your next opponent is me. You should focus on yourself!”

Just as Diablo reached out to grab her, his hand was burned by flames.

“Looks like you want to fight me first? Very well, let’s see just how powerless you feel against my strength.”

“That’s up to you to show how long you can hold out. Let’s go!”

With a commanding shout, Weirafiya directed Aser and Yake to flank Diablo on both sides, while she charged straight at him, creating a three-pronged assault. Diablo, no matter how strong he was, couldn’t dodge attacks from three directions, right?

“Fools! You think three of you can hurt me?”

Diablo initially didn’t plan to dodge, believing that even if he took their attacks, it wouldn’t be a problem.

But sadly for him, he had miscalculated. The trio’s plan wasn’t to harm him but to restrain him.

“What are you trying to pull?”

Yake and Aser each grabbed one of Diablo’s arms, forming a left-right pin, while Weirafiya snuck behind and locked her arms around his waist. Together, they secured him in place.

“Now! Attack!”

Weirafiya shouted to the soldiers hidden in the snow, urging them to activate the device.

Upon receiving Weirafiya’s order, the soldiers activated the buried mechanism, aiming at the red seal on Diablo’s chest.

“What… are you trying to extract my energy?!”

As blue particles of light were drained from his chest, Diablo finally realized they had lured him here to siphon his power.

“It’s too late now that you’ve finally noticed. You’re not escaping!”

Weirafiya laughed, as she, Aser, and Yake worked hard to hold him down. Diablo, who was continuously losing energy, struggled to break free from their grip, but it wasn’t going to be that easy.

“Looks like Diablo fell into the enemy’s trap! I should go help him.”

Meanwhile, Gilbaris watched the scene with Diablo caught in the trap. As a fellow of his kind, he wasn’t about to just stand by and decided to rush in to assist.

“Lord Gilbaris! Bad news!”

Just then, someone ran over, shouting urgently.

“What’s going on? Why are you so panicked?”

Seeing the commotion from this soldier sparked Gilbaris’s curiosity about what had caused such chaos.

“Someone has broken into our base!”

“What? Someone broke in? How did that happen?”

Hearing that someone had breached their base made Gilbaris uneasy; accessing the base was no simple feat. One had to go through the Teleportation Gate they activated first. How could anyone get in?

“I don’t know! But they’ve invaded, and there are about ten of them. We’re trying our best to stop them, but we’re no match for them!”

“Tch. Trouble just keeps coming. Titan, go help Diablo. I’ll deal with the intruders.”

Since dealing with the intruders would require more than he could manage, Gilbaris sent Titan to assist.

“I understand. I’ll go now. You be careful.”

“Don’t worry, I know what I’m doing. I’m off!”

Gilbaris and Titan each opened a Teleportation Gate and stepped through.
