“Ah, I made it! My mission is complete. From here on, it’s up to you guys.”
Before dawn, Ouxs finished developing all the devices to deal with Diablo and the Teleportation Gate, then coughed up blood and collapsed in a chair.
“Thank you for your hard work. We can rest easy knowing it’s in our hands now.”
Mios carried Ouxs to bed and tucked him in to ensure he got a good rest.
Gaia picked up the instruction manual left by Ouxs before he lost consciousness and began to read it carefully.
“Gaia, do you want to get some more sleep? You’ve only slept for three hours.”
Mios was a bit worried about Gaia’s health; after only three hours of sleep, he would have to fight at dawn. It was likely he wouldn’t be able to handle it.
“It’s fine, Mios, don’t worry about me. This happens occasionally, and my body can handle it. Besides, I don’t feel like sleeping right now.”
Gaia was currently preparing for the upcoming battle plan, and there was no time for sleep. Moreover, as the king of this country, if he just left everything to his subordinates and went off to sleep, he would be letting down his royal title.
“Alright, then I’ll stay here with you.”
Mios understood Gaia’s stubbornness and knew there was no way to change his mind, so the only thing he could do was stay up with him.
“No need for that; you should go get some sleep.”
“No way! If you’re staying up, I can’t just go back. Besides, I’m participating in today’s battle plan too, so let me stay here with you.”
“Fine, I’ll allow it, but if you can’t handle it, you must go back and rest, got it?”
Mios insisted on staying with Gaia until the very end. Gaia could only permit him to stay.
“Thanks. Let’s see what this manual says.”
Mios picked up another manual and began to read as well.
The long night finally passed…
“Get up, get up! Don’t you guys sleep any longer, it’s time to get ready! After breakfast, we need to prepare for the battle plan!”
As the sun rose, Mios came to wake up Aierjisi and the other four key members. Usually, they could sleep in as much as they wanted, but today was the day of the final battle—no lazy sleeping allowed!
“Ugh… Being yelled at to get up for the first time is really strange.”
Aierjisi yawned, remembering that the last time she was forcefully woken up was back on Earth. In this other world, she had always woken up naturally.
“Stop sleeping; it’s time to get up and eat breakfast, then get ready for today’s showdown.”
Mios rubbed Aierjisi’s face to help her wake up a bit more.
“Okay, okay, stop rubbing! I’m awake already!”
Aierjisi said while swatting Mios’s hand away. Seriously, even if she’s his type, he shouldn’t be rubbing her face like that.
“Awake now? Great! I’m off to wake the others, you guys hurry up and get out of bed.”
Seeing Aierjisi fully awake, Mios left their room to wake up the others.
“Seriously, at least close the door when you leave. If someone saw me like this, what would I do?”
Aierjisi looked down at herself, realizing she was completely naked. She had taken off her clothes yesterday to soak up moonlight for her Magic Power and had gone to bed without putting anything back on, snuggling up with Yake as she fell asleep.
“Why so noisy? Aier, what’s going on… ah!”
Yake barely woke up and was still confused about what happened when he saw Aierjisi sitting beside him completely bare. He let out a scream and fell off the bed.
“Why are you screaming? Do you know my ears are delicate? I can’t handle such loud noise!”
Aierjisi frowned, annoyed; how could Yake act like he just saw a ghost and shout so loudly, rolling off the bed? It was just embarrassing!
“Because… because… because you’re sitting next to me totally naked! Of course, I would fall off the bed!”
Yake pointed his trembling finger at the little princess sitting on the bed.
“It’s not like you haven’t seen me before, what’s there to be shy about? You’re already twenty-four, right? Why are you acting like such a greenhorn?”
Back when she was twenty, she had been full of youthful desires. She had even been on several dates with her senpai!
Yake was already twenty-four years old, yet he was still like this? It seemed that sex education in this other world was quite underdeveloped.
“What did you do to me last night?”
Yake’s first instinct was to check if he felt anything unusual. From his current state, it seemed she hadn’t done anything.
“I didn’t do anything, just hugged you to sleep.”
“Hugging me to sleep? Why did you take your clothes off?”
Yake couldn’t quite connect the dots between these two actions. Why would she need to take off her clothes to sleep next to him?
“Those two things are unrelated. I took off my clothes to absorb the moonlight for my magic, and when I went to bed, I just didn’t feel like putting anything back on. Do you get it now?”
Aierjisi explained why she was nude and why she hadn’t dressed when sleeping next to him.
“Alright, I understand completely now. But next time, please be mindful! Waking up to find you sitting next to me naked is quite the surprise.”
Understanding the situation, Yake got up from the floor and threw Aierjisi’s clothes from the chair at her.
“Put on your clothes quickly; there’s a lot to do today.”
“Aierjisi.”
Aierjisi didn’t put on her clothes but instead called out to Yake.
“What?”
“Help me put them on.”
Aierjisi held out her pure white underwear from last night, hoping Yake would help her wear it.
“Pff! That kind of private clothing is something you should put on yourself! Can you be serious and not tease me?”
Yake nearly choked on his own spit upon hearing Aierjisi’s request. If it were any other piece of clothing, he might help her, but when it comes to underwear, no way. He might even faint halfway through!
